Lyrics
Shut up, I can’t stand another word, another lie
Four years you been banging on and on, I don’t know why
You’re the keepers of the keys, cos we trusted you to know
Then you turn around and ask us which way should I go?
Just like thieves, you got your fingers in the till
Nobody's watching while we’re sliding down the hill
Last one out turn off the lights, last one out turn off the lights
Last one out turn off the lights, turn off the lights
You said there’d be everything we need to make it right
You promised us the moon and stars if we only cut the ties
Why can’t you face the fact that you might’ve got it wrong
We’ve been running round and round and round this thing so long
Across the other side they’re sitting on the fence
Where are the leaders? There’s no-one talking sense
Last one out turn off the lights, last one out turn off the lights
Last one out turn off the lights, turn off the lights
Last one out turn off the lights, last one out turn off the lights
Last one out turn off the lights, turn off the lights
This land has broken down
Torn apart by ignorance
Why don’t we take the last plane out
And fly away
Across the other side they’re sitting on the fence
Where are the leaders? There’s no-one talking sense
Last one out turn off the lights, last one out turn off the lights
Last one out turn off the lights, turn off the lights
Last one out turn off the lights, last one out turn off the lights
Last one out turn off the lights, turn off the lights
Last one out turn off the lights, last one out turn off the lights
Last one out turn off the lights, turn off the lights
Last one out turn off the lights, last one out turn off the lights
Last one out turn off the lights, turn off the lights

100000000 % Im so far hehind on my FB subs.My buddy posted DIRTY LOVE on his FB group and I was,,,,,,its been a while,, ,time for some Thunder. and DAMMMMMM !!!!! YES !!!
They should be seen as heavy weights of hard rock outside of europe
@@davymania700 Yes !! at the Burning Man !!
No need to shout if you turn the record down a little bit while typing your comment... 🤣🤣🤣
Absolutely brilliant. Loved Thunder for that very reason ever since seeing them at Donnington in the 80’s. Good rock music, full stop 👍
The standard of this record is just breathtakingly high. Thunder have always put out quality records. They are clearly a band at the pinnacle of their craft.
Man, I played Backstreet Symphony to death when it came out. This band is the last bastion of pure Rock.
OMG. Absolutely THE most underrated rock band in history. Pure rock, pure class. BUZZIN`
1000% true bro!!!
no that would be MAGNUM
@@bazbuncher6948 Yeah, good shout. Another fine band.
Spot on! Criminally underrated.
Agree! 🤘
Danny's voice is still awesome, that is such a rocking tune, well done.
One of Britains best bands
Classic Thunder with a little whole lotta love for good measure.
Maybe fire by Hendrix
Hm... what will Jimmy Page and Co (and the spirit of poor old Willie Dixon) say about a piece of WHL?
@@СергійТімачов Anything Page and Co. say is of no importance. They probably plagiarised more music/songs than any other band on the planet.
I agree brother lol
@@BlitzkriegBoogie Really ?? ffs
Fantastic tune. Keep on rocking. Utft 2024 ❤❤❤
This band seems to get better and better. I can’t wait til the album comes out.
I've seen this band so many times and never tire of their music. It just doesn't get any better than this.I just can't understand why they're not up there with the likes of Bon Jovi, Areosmith,Deep Purple and so on.
Totally agree; my theory is the 'big' bands you mention built up a huge fanbase before things got a lot more difficult post grunge/funk metal when rock fans seemed to rely on the old guard through nostalgia or start listening to new bands that didn't have that 'classic' rock approach.
@@blujustin4175 Thanks for yor response. That's probably as good a reason as any.
you go to Amerika and dond't bother us!
Anything new from this legendary band is gold. Can't wait!
Am I the only one who thinks Danny sounds better now than he did thirty years ago? Best voice in rock without question.
He looks after it, he'll last like Halford or Daltrey
Dude kills it time after time. Amazing voice!
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how it's done! All these years later and the boys can still pull it out of the bag.
THIS is music. Fantastic. Hugs my ears
Oooooooffff! Outstanding tune! Danny’s voice is stunning....and the lyrics spot on......10/10 boys!
i ve been a thunder fan from day one still better than ever .This track kicks ass, danny bowes the best rock vocalist of my generation.Listen to dannys rock show on planet rock on sunday morning its funny and he plays great rock tracks.from shaz in the east mids.
At the age of 68 i have only just seen how fantastic this group are. I really enjoyed the new album and i wish Thunder every success
OMG......you have missed so much.
definitely listen to their previous efforts. i have been following since they erupted on the music scene in 1990 with Backstreet Symphony and their first big hit song 'love walked In.'
Danny hasn't lost that awesome voice (unlike his poodle rock hair) check out the back street symphony album, most under rated band ever......... I also like listening to Danny on Planet Rock Radio on a sunday. Can't wait for the new album
@@saxonbite Unfortunately underrated but definitely a kick ass band!!!! Been listening from the beginning, even when Terra Plane was together.
@@williamjamesayers7719 I saw Terraplane in 1985, supporting Foreigner at the Birmingham International Arena.
What a beast of a tune...Jaysus!!
The more I listen to this the better it gets. I reckon at concert volume it will be even better.
Absolutely frigging brilliant!!! Well, what can one expect from one of the best bands to emerge from the UK in the last 30 years or so?? Pure class, as always.
Great band, great song...
As a 60 year lover of Rock and Roll 🎸,I have been honored to to listen 👂 to these lads!
A perfect balance between tremendous vocals and instrumental magic 🪄!
I hope 🤞 to one ☝️ day experience a Thunder event in person ( Am even willing and fly across the pond to experience this as the lads might not tour the USA 🇺🇸.)!
All the Right Noises is a masterpiece for the heart ❤️,soul and mind!
There touring this year well here in the UK anyway in may , I'm off to see the lads at the armadillo Glasgow on the 21st ugly kid Joe are supporting them here!
Sounds great...Danny vocals are as good as ever and it's just a great solid hard rocking tune...Thunder always delivers..really looking forward for the new album to land.
Brilliant album. Thank you Thunder. Germany will wait for you. Don't turn out the light U.K.
Love it. Been a fan since the beginning. Glad to hear Thunder still putting out great music.
anything new by this legendary band is worth listening to and buying to add to any music collection. Thus band never seems to fail when delivering new material.
Most underrated band ever
The most criminally under appreciated band ever!!!!
true
Couldn't agree with you more … I absolutely love this band!! How Def Leppard made it so big and Thunder never … I will never understand!!
@@tjg1964 I think cuz they came out near the end of the 80s metal explosion and grunge was about to take over. I think Backstreet Symphony came out in 89 or 90 right?
Is fuckin RIGHT !!
promoters asleep at the wheel for many many unchecked years. should have been sacked and replaced with someone who could be enthusiastic about the band. would have been a very different story.
One of the best rock bands period. Fn love these guys!!
Me too. I remember going to the last gig at the old Wembley Stadium in ‘95 to see Bon Jovi … but, only really went to see Ugly Kid Joe & Thunder. Got really drunk after they’d been on. Actually, it was a similar story on Clapham Common a few years ago where Thunder were magnificent. Bonamassa was pretty good, too. By the time Aerosmith came on I was so ripped to the tits I didn’t care, lol.
And we all know what this song is about, don't we boys and girls? :O) Well done lads, still got it!
Can't think what you mean ;-)
אחד הטובים שיש , יש לו מקום בין הגדולים
so liebe ich den Rock'n'Roll forever! Klasse Groove.
Saw them for the upteenth time in totenham court with my sun years ago , one of the best nights ive ever had
I need to see them live before I die! This is one of my favourite hard rock bands ever. Absolutely Masters!!!
Such a young and powerful voice!!!!
Cracking track and lyrics. Love the riff, driving tempo and Danny’s unmistakable vocals. Can’t wait for the new album and the tour 🤞🏻
Its all about Ben's Rhythm Guitar for me.
Outstanding if you try to listen to him in isolation.
Thunder you've hit the nail right on the head with this with what's going on right now 👍👍👍
haven’t they just?
30 years and still going
Danny, please keep on keeping on! Your voice and your personality were sent from above! No matter what has happened to you! Of course, you will win, and we all will remain in the first row to help you doing so! You'll never walk alone!
Fresh Oldschool!
Que som maravilhoso. O rock 🎸 alegra o meu dia. Obrigado.
"All The Right Noises" is a return to the full-throttle sound of Thunder that has seen them create a hugely successful 30-plus-year career at the forefront of British rock, all built around the lifelong friendship of vocalist extraordinaire Danny Bowes and songwriting genius and guitarist Luke Morley.
"All The Right Noises" is an intense confection of illicit charms that reasserts their authority as the number one band in the land.
With a set of melodic blues-rock songs, a couple heavier, a couple of ballads, and with lyrics that are always worth really listening to! We get some echoes of classic Thunder tracks, and we get a couple of eye-opening variations on the theme that prove the band has certainly not rested on any laurels or stuck to a formula.
Recorded in the months leading up to the first Covid-19 lockdown, it was originally due for release in September 2020.
Strange to reflect then on how much of the new material appears to address the challenging new world we now inhabit.
But it is interesting how if you look at some of the tracks through the prism of Covid, they still make a lot of sense.
The volcanic lead single from the album, "Last One Out Turn Off The Lights", could easily be mistaken for world-ending lockdown rage.
But it’s about Brexit, but you could apply it to everything else."
The track is indicative of both the ferocity and message of the album as a whole, with subjects tackled including depression, mental health, and diversity.
The LP versions feature a stunning pop-out of the "Singing Ringing Tree", which appears on the album's glorious artwork.
The photo cover art was shot by the band's long-term collaborator Jason Joyce.
The sculpture, which also appears in this video "Last One Out Turn Off The Lights", is set in Burnley, Lancashire, and resembles a tree which harnesses the energy of the wind to create a choral, discordant sound.
With their most recent success, Thunder have proven themselves as vital now as when they emerged in 1990.

Everything on this song is spot on solid rock. Absolutely beautiful, the mixing is so clear that you can isolate easily each instrument and singing from all those magnificant musicians. Looking forward to the whole album.
Leave the lights on and play more more more 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Without question the one band that should have made it big in the U.S. Wish so much they would come this way. Tremendous song!!!
It's also a bit of a tribute to Led Zeppelin. The sound is definitely' Whole Lotta Love.
Absolutely brilliant .
I wondered where all the protest songs had gone, brilliant lads!! not only great timing for this one but also the best rock song in years. Thanks a lot and keep going 👍🎸🎤
There's still plenty of bands making protest songs, unfortunately not many in the rock genre though. Dive into punk and rap/hip hop and there are tons.
Prophets of Rage did tons fairly recently, though sadly they finished.
See van Morrison or Ian Brown's Ripple album
I'm screaming like a fan girl right now!!!!
This is harder than usual , strong riff and vocal is still powerful👍
By far Thunder's BEST! So far, this is the best album for 2021.
I can't believe I heard about this band for the first time just two days ago. I can't recall hearing them on the radio, ever. I was working the other night and streaming music from RUclips Music with my hearing protectors on. I was listening to some new releases playlist and I'm glad that I did. Rock on, boys!
Simply the best British Rock band and still going strong 👍
This just kicks it into high gear. Cant wait for the album
When I listen to this song it makes me feel very good and I think, good rock will never die!
Simply amazing! No more words.
I have been a huge THUNDER fan for many years.
One of the best rock songs I heard in the last years
Thunder just keep thundering along, just a brilliant band that keeps rocking!!
Bloody Brilliant !!! I'll be seeing you...
Holy Crap!!! Thunder never cease to amaze me!!! Absolutely fantastic 👍
I have a Nice Problem!!! I cannot stop Listening to this Track, FECKIN AWESOME!!!!
.....ich glaube...ich habe diese Scheibe 100:mal gehört....🤔👌👌🤘🤘🍾
The band that restored my faith in british rock and roll 30 years ago. And now again. Don*T re-invent the wheel...
Pure of Rock.. The most originality. Am from Indonesia
My fav live band. First saw Thunder live in 1991 at Milton Keynes Bowl when they supported ZZ Top, been a huge fan ever since
Best lockdown tune by a mile boys.
Whole Lotta Love
From Canada here, on a rare night a radio station in Calgary Alberta played "Backstreet Symphony" and I got to hear one of my favorite bands of all time, so glad they didn't retire and stop making great music
Yeah, that´s rock´n roll!
Gave me them goosebumps as soon as it started, great track and cant wait for the album!
I just have a flash in my mind...it was like entering to the record store and buy the backstreet symphony vinyl!!!!🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Danny hasn't lost that awesome voice (unlike his poodle rock hair) the band are still as sharp as ever, most under rated band ever......... I also like listening to Danny on Planet Rock Radio on a sunday. Can't wait for the new album. Listened to this awesome band since 1990 and wont stop till the day I die !!!!!!
One of my favorite bands and my mum manged to get all their autographs for me back in the late eighties in her pub in broadstairs kent...thank you guys and keep rocking.
Hey Thunder, I'm from the generation that will soon need a walker, but the video and sound are absolutely great. All the best.
Swagger with that Walker! Headphones in, rock on down the road!
Can't beat the old stuff
So the year is 2020.. And RUclips did it first commercial I didn't skip. Strange year indeed. Rock on dudes!
Dude same. This is the first good ad I ever get here. Nice sound lads
💥 powerful like nature 💥 please stay healthy 🍀👍
Why do I have to read ''the most underrated band'' under every Thunder song I come across. It truly is the worst compliment you can give any artist..
Thunder just IS, they don't need any pity.
Under-appreciated is the one I use.. it’s much better.
Excellent band, sound, timing and no gimmicks
Couldn’t be more spot on with the lyrics
That's dam good .classic thunder
With that beginning, you know that you are in for a fantastic rock song. Congratulations!
Thunder ist für mich auf dem Level von AC/DC und Queen. Zeitlos und immer Rock. Leider wissen es zu viele nicht...
Yessss! Editing my own comment here. These guys are back, BIG TIME! Look forward to seeing them live when all this Covid shit is over. What a great track.
Down and dirty rock n roll. Love you guys. Keep rocking. Jesus Christ bless. Amen
After a brief musical interlude they are back, better than ever. AWESOME......now for the 2021 tour to go ahead .....pls pls pls

This band sounds great as ever! Loved it! Awesome! 4.5 Stars, thumbs up and added to the playlist.
TO ME AT 75 YEARS OLD THERE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN TO SEE OLD MEN ROCK !!!!!!!!!!!! THESE GUYS KICK ASS JUST SUPERB JAMZ
Fantastic old fashioned bluesey rock from a band that were one of my favourites in the late 80s and 90s, along with Scottish rockers GUN and Def Leppard.
Love it!! Never a big fan, but always appreciated many of their songs. Solid rock band!!
Cool Song, the Rifs Great
This song is phenomenal! Love this band!
Awesome, Worthy of Marshall McCluhan, Thank You. Happy Thanksgiving 2023!
Christ, his voice is rockin....top notch stuff Mr B
As always, sublime. Let's hope we can get out to see them next year.
