This series singularly gave me hope to find and old anime that i only remember flashbacks from. It was similar to slayers i artstyle and i only remember bits. Wasnt in this episode but my man gave me hope. Subbed
Worth the watch, worth the sub. I am a sucker for a good "non sequiter/10" joke and all of them work. Awesome to see small creators getting recommended.
I’m so glad this popped up in my recommended, algorithm do your thing and get this guy mega subs because this was so funny and so well put together! I can’t wait to see more, keep going Boom!
54:48 That big CD was actually a Laserdisc. It was basically the Adam of all video disc media, 22 years before DVD. Never took off in the US though because it was expensive. However, it was the primary way of owning movies in Japan, VHS tapes on the other hand were rented (I know a guy that was an OG American Otaku and he tells me that when he started his Japanese VHS collection in the 80s he had to pay rental shops $50 for a copy (in 1980s money!)).
I wonder how many of these are not gonna even have subtitles or force you to go to Russian or Chinese sites to download it with Finnish subtitles with the whole show taking like 3 weeks to fully download
Sir you're the GOAT!!!!! I found you in the youtube algorithm and I think AI is beyond intelligent since I've been looking for you indirectly. That said thank you for thus amazing video. I plan to watch it all later after work. That said perhaps you can help me. This is literally 30 years ago. Around the same time as the American release of Sailor Moon or around 1992-2001 there was a show. It had the plot like this. In a different world perhaps the present post apocalyptic being invaded or destroyed by insects either from space/ mutants / or another dimension. Humanity is either at a stalemate, not too technological enough to defeat the insect horde on its own or are have their own political squabbles to take this seriously. The hope is some random guy thats an outsider. He either came from a different time, planet, dimension or he has amnesia. I forgot his reasons for helping Humanity. It could be looking for answers, finding his lost memories, or maybe he just hates the insects so he is out to help the population. Well this guy was a tall man probably in his early 20s, I believe he had short black hair. What's remarkable about him is he I think had a powerful katana to fight them but his absolute power was a mecha. This mechna was not the size of a Gundam however. It stood about the same size as small caboose. What's crazy was this thing could move on it's own, it was an intelligent computer AI robot. If he was in trouble this thing came to him like Shazam. It moved around like a giant slick back either car or hovering device. When it came he would get in, and upon riding it he could either fight them in the transport mode or the part I remember vividly is he would call his name or maybe say battle mode, the robot would flash its eyes and transform into a Gundam and its eyes would glimmer while saying this iconic phrase 'Affirmative!' He would then destroy the insect hordes with this robot only he could control too. He wss basically this world's savior. I recall there was a local lady or someone with importance in this population. She was trying to help this guy too but she may be a possible love interest too. I think the mecha was red, silver, grey too but I loved this show. Something happened where I just couldn't finisj watching it, maybe I was grounded or had after-school activities. Well the show was either on the WB, Fox or UPN. It was a wonderful show and I wish I can watch the rest.
the first anime that comes to mind if Blue gender cause they fought bugs but i dont think thats right. if i can think of anything else ill let you know!
2:08:51 this is not the ending it was followed up with a rather ugly looking sequel called Beast Fighter - The Apocalypse in 2003 that was a normal tv show not a OVA but was set directky after that and dint really recap much from it either. 2:14:14 So its just Yugi Moto from yugioh but Bald.
@@BOOMhaha Not really. Sauce or tons of cheese on spaghetti is also quite recent development. Most often they were just boiled in water and eaten plain. Maybe with a bit of salt. Look up the Pasta Eater, it's a painting by Luca Giordano from the 16th century. There are actually surprisingly many paintings of people just eating food. It's just weird for us because we are so used to the way we make and eat spaghetti. Like when you learn that one of the most widely eaten pizzas was the one topped with pig fat and fried bits. Or the OG Roman pizza that was just round bread topped with garlic oil, cheese and pomegranates. We know it was definitely the pizza made in Pompeii as we have a preserved fresco. My point is history of food is often really, really weird.

Eating spaghetti with your bare hands is how it was done for centuries. Using forks is a very recent development...
whoa! that would be so sloppy

Is it just me or is the Shuten Doji part kinda broken editing wise? Seems like some kind of rendering error ?
