Amazing review! Very helpful! Data structures and algorithms is one of my main concerns. And I would want to really master it before I graduate from any coding bootcamp.

It will be an important part of your interview process. It's worth it to spend time studying especially if you are looking for your first position.

Flatiron graduate here. Group projects should have been mandatory. Especially when learning GIT. They weren’t when I was attending. Ruby Rails was taught as a backend 2 yrs ago before Python…DSA should have been mandatory. They told us to just gloss over it after graduation. Hardly any live coaching for the online part time program. You’re essentially on your own. As a beginner, you may as well just Google the curriculum and learn yourself. Job placements for Junior SWE coding bootcamp grads are extremely scarce nowadays. Wish I could get my money back.

Sorry to hear that. I hope to reduce these situations with these videos. This stuff is really hard, and we need to tell everyone what they are getting into. Congratulations on graduating and with continued effort to learn on your part I believe you will succeed.

Congratulations on finishing!. I was always under the impression that flat iron was like one of the top software engineering, boot camps or boot camps in general, but software engineering was a big deal and they do have contracts with the government or they used to which was always a plus. Do you feel like the program is worth it because it is a little expensive?
