Later this month I start Flatiron's Cybersecurity Analytics training...43 weeks long. My employer paid for my entry. All virtual, which I much prefer. Nothing is perfect, so your 8 out of 10 rating is understandable. Good Luck at PetSmart. :-)
Hey Robert, Congratulations!!! On starting I hope all goes well I am sure it will. Even better that your employer paid for it!! Thank you so much I would've loved to stayed within Cyber Security I think I found a different passion
Hopefully I’ll get in. I just send my application and luckily I got in there in time because now they’re not accepting no applications because of how many people signed up. I wish they would go forward with my application
no worries thanks for the comment. I would say there really isn't mandatory requirements. More of a base knowledge i would say. So like networking 101. Having knowledge of the 7 layer OSI model. they will let you know on their website what you need to know if you want to go into cyber security per say. But if anything it will be different if you want to attend any other course they offer
I am looking into starting the bootcamp but I am a bit scared of the cost. How was the pre work? How long did it take you to understand the coding aspects of the program?
@@armandomolina2034 to be very transparent. My offer was only about 17 an hour and it wasn’t a cyber security job. But it was a start, but it was a start since I had no experience in the industry. The pay was still pretty low though you’re in for a helpdesk technician.
Been waiting patiently 😳
my bad g definitely gonna post more, editing a new video now 👀
LMAOOOO

is the whole cybersecurity bootcamp free? or is there a free version?
did they teach you SQL? or you had to learn it/know it before the bootcamp?
how did you get Flatiron merchandise?!
I was wondering the same. Do they give it to you once you are in the program? Please let us know tia
Thanks I'm trying to decide if they're the school for me. I appreciate your time.

Hey sorry for the late response and nope only 2 semesters in college
Do they score/grade you?
yes in fact they do. I would say they mostly do it based on your test and lab work. Participation isn't scored but does help
Were you able to get a job?
Hey yes I did
It was about maybe 3 months later I ended up with a job at CVS but left later on
@@OurParadiseRedeemed how much was your offer
