Yuan Qi has already been arranged to be tutored by Dong Hua by then, and Feng Ran the Heavenly Queen is his mother's friend, ally and officer, along with two other True Deities for uncles so he's more than well cared for. I really love the plot of this drama. The actors and actresses acting are great. They complimented each other. No boring moments for me.

Such a great Xinxia drama, loved the characters and the world building. I just wished for some Yumie, Gujun and Zihan reincarted scenes and I’ll be more than happy. The ending was HEA, but I wanted more after the adventure and heartbreak we went through.

And as a result he wouldn't have a reason
To make shanggu hate himself
Maybe the tribulation of chaos was overloaded with so much energy that the first time Shanggu had sacrificed herself, it only took away half of it and it slowly built up again after 50,000 years. Then Bai Jun found out about it and that they had to do it a second time to end it once and for all. Cause the first time at that god stone or something, it covered the whole sky in the god’s realm and needed so many celestials to use their energy to hold it off. But when Bai Jun sacrificed himself, it was only a small “tornado” of chaos energy and didn’t cause havoc and mayhem like before. Idk just my speculations.
because Shanggu did not completely died as Bai Jue salvages some of her soul hence he is able to bring her back but he knows that means tribulation of chaos would not be ended and kept it under control with his power and he made the decision to take the sacrifice himself this time not willing to see Shanggu forced to do the deed for the common people again.
