Mate, I did the whole whiskey tasting and Cuban cigar trip 20 years ago and quickly realised that you can disappear up your own backside and lose clarity as regards flavours and comparisons. Making the effort to visit a couple of distilleries will help but now I'm in my late 40's I have whittled it down to Lagavulin for best friends and special occasions and Jameson's Irish for anything else. The special edition whiskeys just seem to be a novelty more than anything else. Long Time!
And what's with these tiny wrists? Where are the men?
Laphroaig and Lagavulin are the best single malt scotches the universe has ever known.

There was a request how was that old and battered Seiko 5 restored (positon 3:24:28 in video) :) . So here we go: Because of sustained severe trauma in the watche's history, the second hand, 6 and 9 o'clock indices, both Seiko and 5 logos were all knocked off and never replaced on one of previous services. It was easy for my watchmaker to source back the "golden" second hand, and "golden" Seiko and 5 logos. These are still standard spare parts, delivered by Seiko. The missing two indices were sourced through some gray market of used parts, and I needed to wait for months for the delivery.
Further, origianlly the case was quite battered, but the high re-polishing od the bezel and sides revived the case.
The movement went through standard overhaul, and today is in a full working order. The price of such restoring endeavour would cost at least ca. 250€ in central EU countries, UK, and USA. For a watch price rating such as Seiko 5, this kind of restoratio does not make sense. But in less rich countries such as Croatia, wehere I did the restoration, it costs less than 50€ and then it makes sense.
The bracelet is brand new after-market Seiko original sourced from common online straps shops.

@@ericb8888 Thanks. I am happy to hear someone truly appreciates it :) Bizzare thing is that today I cannot find such elaborate and mysterious dial in any new luxury watch model. This Seiko 5 is one of my favorite watches in my collection. But still, the movement has some performance issues, and I would like to restore the lume as well. But this would lead me into spending at least those mentioned 250€ at master watchmaker who usually repairs and restores my higher end watches. But is it worth investing so much money on a piece which with some luck could be found for 50€ on used market, but again in not so good condition, and again in need of expensive service?
