Discovering God in the Midst of Grief: An interactive workshop

Join writer and speaker Lydia Gessner for a workshop about processing your grief through the lens of faith, the practice of creativity, and the comfort of community. Grief comes in a variety of forms including losing a loved one, experiencing a break-up, or working through the communal grief of the pandemic and racial and societal injustices. This interactive workshop will offer practical new ways and helpful resources to work through the complex emotions of grief in ways that will leave us transformed.
The workshop is based on Lydia's academic and theological research and lived experiences. Lydia has experienced the loss of many close family members and friends, including the loss of her father to cancer. Her experiences in writing, art, and athletics have shaped the way she looks at grief and God. She will share some of these experiences and insights in this interactive workshop.
