- Hi guys! It's been a little while but i'm back and reacting to his most recent performance "Sinful passion". This was truly a vocal showcase and he is only getting better and better in my opinion. Hope you enjoy it!

Thank you Cato for continuing to do Dimash. I love the close your eyes remark. I find it impossible to close my eyes for I am totally unable to tear my gaze away from his performance. He is the most captivating artist I have ever encountered.

Thanks for reaction to Dimash. This was at the Opening Gala of the "New Wave" Pop Artists Competition in Sochi, Russia. Dimash's first public performance in that country, as a GUEST! He showcased ALL his vocal tricks known and unknown. A MASTERPIECE! He did get massive applause and standing ovations at the end. I agree there were a few people who didn't react. I reckon they were too flabergasted to know what to do... They must have been thinking: "What was that? What just happened?" Never had anyone heard such a mix of styles and such a full range of notes and octaves reached by a single MAN! 😁😂😂😋 Dimash at his best!!! So you know he got a standing ovation from Igor Kratoy, THE most famous music producer in Russia! And, a day or so later Dimash and his father Kanat wete photographed at Igor"s Studio! Presumably, already making music arrangements... Maybe a Concert in Moscow, promotion or music piece??? We shall wait and see 👍👏👏👏😁💓💓💓
Thank you for this! I didn't know exactly what the performance was for, so that's very interesting to know! I'm sure they were too shocked to even reacts and i guess audiences are different and react differently where ever you go in the world. This was a flawless performance and he really didn't hold back with anything like you said! :)
This performance took place in one of the biggest annual pop music festival in Sochi, Russia and one of the most watched on the Russian TV. Dimash is not known to the Russian audience, therefore, once again he had to make the showcase of all his vocal abilities and range to impress the Russian audience this time. He succeeded as usual, because many people in the audience looked stunned and aghast. Bald guy in the end in white shirt is the event organizer and one of the famous Russian song writer. (By the way, he made the entire album with Lara Fabian). He greeted Dimash with standing ovation. I did not see him standing for any other performers in this show. This tells all.
Thank you for the information- it's always very interesting to know a bit more about the performance and what's going on behind the scenes! This was truly a flawless performance so he must have definitely proven himself to the Russian audience! I guess there are a lot of different audiences that react differently depending on where they're from and it doesn't mean they're less impressed :)

@@catotnnessen8554 And those "unimpressed" ladies are actually that composer's wife with her friend. I don't know what's wrong with her hearing lol Maybe she went deaf after hearing him play music around the house for all these years. Oh well.
Before watching the actual reaction, I wanted to say Dears love you. Let that be your happy thought when the trolls arrive. Dimash is such a master at building up anticipation, isn't he? He's wonderful and accessible with his fans. Thanks for the reaction. Much love from South Africa.

Thank you for your awesome reaction! This was a masterpiece of Dimash!! I was shocked when I saw this performance. I cried during his performance! He touches my heart and soul! He has so much different voices and his technique is stunning! This performance was beyond everything!! He gets better and better. His vocal cords are improved, he hits now lower then ever before from F2 to C2. Where it gonna end? No one knows, only Dimash!! His low deep voice in the beginning and the craziness at the end! I enjoy your reactions. You are right, we do not need haters. As mentioned, check out his Phanta City. This was a television short program. They had three days of work and then it was filmed live. Dimash sings 2 songs. It is in english

Hi Cato! I'd like to give you a belated welcome back! I'm super happy you reacted to Sinful Passion. Definitely a new favorite for me! I love when Dimash uses his lower range because you don't hear it that often. It's so full and rich, I really like it ^-^. I absolutely love that he is using so many different layers of his voice in this performance, and it's just so cool to see how much he has improved, seeing as he was already absolutely incredible to start with! I think the sky is the limit is even too limited of a phrase for Dimash. I think I figured out why people call him an alien haha. It's because space is the limit for him, and space goes on forever!! Can you believe that end sustained note with all the runs that he pulled off was 23 seconds without a break? I still can hardly handle it.
I also love that he takes all the flowers with a big grin on his face! That is a huge reason why he is so adored. He really loves and appreciates his fans. He's humble and professional and he always thanks his fans and the people playing music in the background of his performances. I know what you mean about the audience. Idk why they aren't more excited! Well I'm not sure what else I can say that I haven't already gushed about haha. I loved your reaction as always! Keep being your adorable self and I'm looking forward to your next videos!
Yay- so excited to see you pop up in my notifications! i agree- it has definitely become one of my favorites as well- the performance was absolutely flawless the whole way through! This performance was a vocal showcase and really showed off all the different layers and dimensions to hos voice and how he can manipulate and control it. I know, i actually appreciate his low notes as much as or even more than his really high notes! I totally agree with you- he has gotten better and he is still so young so it's crazy to think of all the potential that he still has to improve an hone and perfect his skills! It'll be exciting to see where he ends up in the future!

I agree with Maria, Dimash's Dears are decent people. The world doesn't need any more haters who don't contribute anything anyway, just trying to prop up their own egos by attacking other people. To quote the Red Queen: "Off with their heads!"
Dimash is the perfect example of music transcending all political, cultural and religious boundaries. He has Dears all over the world, all equally enthralled with him.
P.S. If you're interested, there is another video here ruclips.net/video/QRiIfatQAT0/видео.html which compares his rendition of this song to the original by A'Studio. I believe they are the musicians accompanying him and the guy on keyboards actually wrote it. The point I'm trying to make is that it shows how he takes a song and truly makes it his own and turns it into something very special.

SINFUL PASSION (GIVE ME) was a cover of the song by A-Studio (the band behind Dimash) and since their lead singer had died, they had invited Dimash to sing the song in a way they knew only he could sing. The result for me is so far the best of the best. ruclips.net/video/W9FlDMCo8LU/видео.html A-Studio resides in Russia and are originally from Kazakhstan. They also worked with Dimash on Hello.
Hi Cato, thanks for your excellent reaction to Dimash, when I saw this about 10 days ago I thought it was astonishing and you are right he his getting better and better and amazes us with every new song. Coincidence that you mentioned his haunting version of "Hello" which was arranged for him by his childhood friend Erlan because this was also arranged by Erlan ! Btw ignore, ignore, ignore any hateful/hurtful comments cos it really pisses them off. 👌👌👍😊😊

Но я думаю, что иногда важно упомянуть об этом и поговорить, потому что мы слишком долго умалчиваем об этом. Я умалчивал об этом слишком долго. Итак, я это делаю и это просто место для получения удовольствия от хорошей музыки, от хороших песен и певцов. И музыка она для сближения людей, это крепкий позитив в одном месте. Не смотря ни на какие обстоятельства, мы просто будем вместе и будем получать удовольствие от выступлений. Это одно из мест, где вы можете просто поболтать и просто наслаждаться несмотря ни на что, что происходит вокруг. Извините. (Опять повторяет)

Изначально я собирался сделать реакцию на другое выступление, но сделаю отклонение из за совершенно свежего выступления Димаша, которое было в Сочи где-то две-три недели тому назад. И я сделаю это и оно называется "Грешная страсть". Я не могу дождаться, чтобы проверить как это звучит сейчас. Итак давайте просто начнём, потому что я говорил довольно долго. Позвольте мне вставить мои наушники. И поехали.

8:45 Идеально! Это были такие хорошие моменты в конце, когда они дарили ему цветы. И он на самом деле подошёл к самому краю сцены и принимал их (цветы). Он не просто ушёл помахав рукой, типа: пока!

И у него ещё столько лет, что бы созреть и действительно прийти туда, где есть время, чтобы выработать свой стиль и усовершенствовать свою вокальную технику, свой вокальный стиль. Ему нужно много времени. И у него столько лет впереди, что бы это всё сделать. Я думаю это будет просто постоянно улучшаться и становиться всё лучше.
9:40 Это выступление было удивительным. А какая была кульминация! В начале мне очень понравилось, что он пел практически на своём разговором регистре, используя множество эмоциональных эффектов. Я так думаю. Потому, что вам действительно рассказывают целую историю в очень доступной форме. Когда он делает это - я не знаю как это назвать - что то национальное... Я не хочу давать этому название, потому что я наверное ошибусь (поражает мелизме). Это требует огромного контроля, чтобы удерживать эти переборы нот и делать это с лёгкостью. Это совершенно удивительно! И что мне ещё хочется сказать: создаётся такое впечатление, как будто в одном человеке находятся несколько разных певцов. Потому что так много разных оттенков и столько много разных измерений в его голосе. Каждый раз, когда он открывает рот, что бы петь - выходит другой звук: грудной голос, нежный, разговорный, как звук на 360 градусов, хриплый, который мне нравится. Он просто использует это всё и это действительно презентация его вокала, которая отображает все грани его голоса, что поражает. Я думаю это достойно награды. Я не знаю, это смахивало на очень официальную концовку. Я думаю аудитория могла бы выразить бОльше восторга от увиденного. Это моё личное мнение. Я просто увидел двух дам в конце, которые даже не то что не хлопали, а... (изображает мимику двух женских особ, сидевших в первом ряду). Чуточку больше эмоций! Это же так прекрасно для того, кто выступил так хорошо. Это так ужасно! (недоволен реакцией этих двух особ). Вы же получили заряд энергии от него. Итак это было удивительное выступление. И я действительно счастлив, что я это увидел. Потому что я делал реакцию на его "Hello" в апреле, мне кажется. Я не мог никак осознать, что это было. Интересно видеть, как выглядит исполнение сегодня. Потому, что вы никогда не знаете, что изменится. Но это похоже будет становиться у него все лучше.

Thanks for the sincerity, both in your words and in your reaction. I feel you, and I would like to tell you a few things. People hate others for various reasons. Mostly they are ignorant, jealous and insecure persons that never experienced what it means to love and care, either by choice or because of life circumstances. Haters get fed by others’ unhappiness, so do not let them affect you. I know it’s easier to say it in words than actually do it, but think for a moment how many people are in this world, also suffering from hateful behaviors. You’re definitely not alone. Even the brightest persons will experience being hated, for no reason at all. I say… let’s deactivate the haters! Giving attention to them provides the ground they are standing on. Pull that off! Deprive them of the fun to be able to get to you! I’m telling you… that’s the off switch!

As for the downward spiral Dimash did, Dimash used singing Kazakh technique, that called 'Komeymen aytu -көмеймен айту', You can hear it from the Turan group. Saha people ( Rus) uses this technique too, they called it 'Kylyhah'.

We don't engage trolls, but we don't pretend they don't exist either. Sometimes you have to call them out to make them realize maybe they need some help if they find a need to be so nasty to people they don't even know.

The audience must not have realised that they'd just witnessed the greatest vocal performance they'd ever seen. They should have all been standing and cheering uncontrollably, shivering with excitement! But they behaved like non-living things, like dummies or mannikins. Why didn't they fEEl!
