it clicked for me when I realized everything can be broken down into points, lines, planes & to an extent brep. Pretty obvious in hindsight but it makes it easier to conceptualize & visualize in my head or thru a rough sketch before I put anything in grasshopper.
You explain the concepts so beautifully, along with the pen and a blank slate, not just on grasshopper. Simply amazing. Just one question here, what if the curve that I want to graph is not a sine curve or some already known curve. I want to graph my own amoeboid curve. Is that possible using graph mapper
How would you combine multiple 'point on curve', as in multiple centers for the rotate3D? So that it's possible to have two separate different graphs plotted on different locations on the same facade. I tried merging and multiplication with no effect? Super clear and good tutorial btw! Thanks!
Amazing tutorials! I have a question as well.. Is it possible to combine the curves into a surface (instead of giving them values in y/z direction) while keeping the possibility to manipulate the newly created surface as the curves (length, rotation)?
If you use a different number slider for factor input of "Unit Y" component, the one that's given to the direction input of the second extrusion, you can change the distance between the panels independently and have the result you want.
Nice tutorial. A small suggestion if I may. It would've be nice if you'd made a small additional tutorial on how to make clusters and put a link here. I was able to find it by myself, it's not that complicated, but telling people to just go and download such simple code snippet is slightly disrupting to a procedural workflow. Made me remember 3ds'max where you need to install user scripts to do basic things like array modifier.
I started learning grasshopper some days ago and I actually felt really lost. Everything is well explained , thank you a lot for ur tutorials!

Awesome tutorial! Add more!
THANKS FOR THE TUTORIAL
COULD YOU PLEASE MAKE A COMPLETE HOUSE MODEL USING GRASSHOPPER AND RHINO
IT WOULD HELP US A LOT
THANK YOU

Thank u🙏 graph mapper has a series of presets so you can't change it...for a desired formulacyou have to remap their y coordinates to the movement
Brilliant video!!! Does your course also show how we can extract the parameters for fabrication purposes?
How can we close the circular curve that is created with a sine summation graph? is it possible ?

how do I change the distance between the panels? Like if I wanted to make it look like a solid surface?

Жизнестатистикс Уыкчугев yes sure. I will make a video on clusters and also share the download link here
Hi, But what if i would start from a curve, instead of point? what should i change then?
Thank you!
nice tutorial.... I'm not able to download remap+ tool from your website...it gives error saying that 'the site can't be reached'.
Please check the website again and tell me if you can't open it. I will try to resolve the issue.

Great! Thank you so much!
What should I do if I want the random lengths of the SDL line? I watched your tutorial about random and I tried to apply the technique, but I failed.
It's simple. You should give a random component to the length. Remember it has to hace same number as the lines
How to make sure the that the shape evolved from grasshopper follow a different 2d shape other than line
hey i want to create wave (like graph maker)throughout the ellipse please can u help me
why my rhino canvas can alway show all the steps i have done, but you are showing the latest step.I didn't see you select the preview off button.
Thank you!
Where can I download the Remap+? The link is broken
You can download it from bit.ly/remapplus
Thanks man
👋
Cool
