Dan Morgan (Mark Wahlberg) loves his quiet suburban life as a devoted husband, father of three and successful car salesman. But that’s only half the story. Decades earlier, he was an elite government assassin tasked with eliminating the world’s deadliest threats. When enemies from his past track him down, Dan packs his unsuspecting wife (Michelle Monaghan), angsty teen daughter, pro-gamer teen son and adorable 10-month-old baby into their minivan and takes off on an impromptu cross-country road trip to Las Vegas. Determined to protect his family - while treating them to the vacation of a lifetime - Dan must put his long-dormant skills into action, without revealing his true identity.
An Apple Original Film hailing from Skydance Media, The Family Plan also stars Zoe Colletti, Van Crosby, Saïd Taghmaoui, Maggie Q and Ciarán Hinds.

finally a good family film, who are not dysfunctional......not yelling or cursing. a normal dad and mom with normal kids. Supportive loving dad,respectful kids, loving wife. why cant this be shown from time to time. all the movies are always like...cheating cursing abusing crying.....

Same here! I was expecting the run of the mill action movie with the same tropes and everything they have done a thousand times. And although this film has some of those, they pull it off in their own way and the acting is a huge reason for it I think. The mother especially, imo, had the best performance. GREAT family action movie, probably the best I've seen in a decade.

What terrible example of a mother. Selfish and willing do whatever is best for herself. The dad literally doing everything for the family. Yet the so called mother wants to go back to her pre children days partying and sleeping around. So ungrateful.

This is just an American/Hollywood adaptation/rewriting of Donnie Yen's film 'Wu Xia'. The stories are obviously different, but the core story remains the same -

I am a 76's kid, Mark.....is a superstar in comedies...every comedy he does is a hit. So happy to see him out there, looking amazing. Such a huge fan of his. And the baby in this movie, soooo cute! Just watched it. It was a fun and entertaining movie with a pretty weak script. Some scenes were totally ridiculous and nonsense, but leave logic at the door and you'll be fine.
