I am chilling in T1 for a bit while I try and get the boots for res.
the core of the builds are about the same. the maxroll one looks good. its just another way to run it, you can use familiars over unstable currents for more conj mastery stacks. its flexible
Oh man, I had a 4 GA Heir of Perdition drop from Varshan... It is insane with this build! Very fun! I only have 2 glyphs(not even at 46) and am already running 70+ pits.
How much better is this then the chain lightning build you made? I love this build but i hate playing it. In pits my fireballs hit the walls or pillars so much and do no damage. It does a ton of damage when your fireballs actually dont get blocked by 50% of the stuff in the narrow dungeon halls.
Tried this build. I like it a lot even though my gear is not as good as yours. Getting the rolls into glass cannon is what really push the numbers up. Don't think everyone can get a triple masterwork on it like you can though. The disadvantage of this build is fighting stuff in tight corridors. The fireballs have trouble landing where you want them to land.
Good advice on generic tempers on a god amulet. Last season I ran chain lightning with GA conj mastery, hoarfrost and I was able to roll glass cannon in less than ten enchants. Gave up looking for winterglasses after that.
What enchantment would You recommend instead of teleport one , when running the Shroud Uber version, but w/o Currents and just using normal TP on bars ? (saw the orb Your tank version, but not sure if that'd be the choice here awell)

Still rocking this build in T4. My damage definitely took a hit when I replaced Raiment with Tyrael's Might, but my survivability is *much* better. If I want to drop teleport and add Unstable Currents to my bar, would you recommend Orange Herald over Snowveiled on my pants?
so, I'm running this but slightly different not having the mythics. Also, not using rainment and having teleport on skillbar so dumped the points in some survivability and the cooldown reset on lucky hit thingy. Such a fun build to play. (which for me is the most important part) not yet attempting T4 but should be able to manage soon.
Are enemy dots officially bugged vs player? People have been complaining about dots for seasons even with +max res and I just have no idea if they're meant to be that insane, or if it really is looking like they kinda seem to ignore your res or are just too big of a number
if we're talking poison for example? it's insane seeing your healthbar deplete in like 3 sec. (still beats getting 1-shot out of existence like in previous season)
Hi, very good video. I'm a hardcore player, what adjustments should I make to the build to go as safe as possible? Because it's a weak and anything without shield and it kills you.
Is there a version that doesn't use unstable currents or evade TP? I'm kind of tired of every sorc build doing this. edit: I see you have a note on the build, but have you run it? I imagine other adjustments need to be made if you can't evade TP for familiars.
I think the starter version doesn't. you could mash the starter and the familiar version. Tp enchant is just really good because it's used mainly to stack enlightenment. I know it does get annoying though, every build for sorc always becomes some cookie cutter version of each other. I hate it too.
It’s flexible. My amulet is one I use across multiple builds and I’m just stuck with what’s on there. I would go evade cooldown reduction and familiar duration tbh
Nice job, dude. You inspired me to keep playing the season and make a sorc. Also, try changing your merc to the tank dude that give you unstoppable every 30 seconds. Otherwise, simply save your fire shield more often to avoid getting CC'd.

I have a question can you guide me: I can't be sure which aspect to give up on after Tyrael's Might chest dropped. 45% dmg reduction is a big deal but losing my precious aspects. I have only 2 legendary aspect slots and those are already occupied by necessary Three Curses and Snowveiled aspect. After Tyrael chest do I need to keep Snowveiled? And losing Storm Swell and Orange Herald (unstable currents almost always up with it) is breaking my heart. And there is also Tibault's Will leggings but I don't want to confuse things now. I wish we could use a wand+offhand too for fireball, that would bring us 2 aspect slots=( Second question: Is shroud of false death that good? I mean since we spam fireball all the time, that 2 second wait for stealth duration will slow our gameplay and won't benefit on longer fights. Am I wrong? Isn't tyraels might better for almost %45 damage reduction?
You don’t really need Snowveiled if you are running tyraels. If you want to run raiment and Snowveiled together you drop unstable currents for invoked familiar on the skill bar because you will lack orange herald

Yeah, this build just felt good (took me from Penitent to T3 easy). I have tried LS, Forb/LS, plane Forb (and tested Blizz), all of these just aren't the same. I'm switching back to FB once I can find or buy 5x Ohm and 4x Tzic runes to craft a Starless.
hey lurkin, i followed this build, everything there is to it. i'm only missing the shroud of false death armor and the amulet, but other than that I have every item. the glyphs leveled up to 45, even the masterworking almost done. The problem is, I am nowhere near the damages you're getting, I hit less than a million and maybe by luck I'd see a big number every now and then that's less than 15 million. not sure what i'm doing wrong. if you could help me out i'd really appreciate that.
Where are you pulling the crit damage from? I came from spear to this because i thought the dmg potential was low on flicker spear but the crit damage % is about half of what it used to be so I don't seem to get much more dmg output from this
Once you get a pack of burning enemies, the ranks to Devouring Blaze take effect. At least in his initial quick overview of the gear, he kinda glossed over it but to make this build actually strong enough to handle T4 bosses or Pit runs of 85 or higher you absolutely MUST HAVE an amulet with a GA on Devouring Blaze ranks, and hit at least 2 of your MW crits on Dev Blaze. If you don't have that, this build just isn't really strong enough for T4. Can you do it, sure but it's not going to be a fun time.
I can fill it out more tomorrow. Literally any rare node that has value around those 5 boards or just intelligence lol. Just take the rare nodes I haven’t grabbed hahaha
you make fire familairs during unstable currents. They increase the amount of conjurations you get for conj mastery for damage, and with the invoked familiar node you get 10% damage with fireball

Im thinking about swapping out tactician for exploit, i already swapped out unleash for control because i dont need the mana reg from unleash anymore and control gives way more damage than the 8%x that unleash provides.
@@Lurkin17 yes I have 3 GA rakanoth but the 1 non ga is resist. But going by your guide it doesn't mw resists so I assumed it was setup for paragon or something.
I hit one billion after setting up my build as close as I can for now. Got Perdition from a resplendent cache. Had everything else decently rolled already. Need to get a better Illuminator though. Still 750 because I haven't run Beast much at all, but nearly max rolled. Only my Destruction glyph is at 45, everything else at 15. Will have to test on a world boss, but it blows up the training doll instantly. Very low HP though, but if it nearly onetaps bosses, whatev. Both shields will tank a few starting hits from most bosses initial attacks. Need to run Andariel.
Yup. I have a seperate set of chest, pants, and amulet with max life/armor/barrier/teleport for tanking, and going from T3 to T4 boss runs, with an amulet just with +%int, dev blaze, and max life. Go from 1500 (your build) to 4400 (or 5100 with shako) life. Easy enough to keep them in my inventory and swap out. But I also want to see 5 billion dmg popup at some point, at least, before it's possibly nerfed and spiritborn/barb is buffed again.
evade is now teleport. teleport is a shock skill. during unstable shock skills make more shock skills, and familiar is technically a shock skill. but it makes fire familiars. isn't it fun how confusing it is
I think… with some paragon nodes… skulls + a single armor roll with a mw or 2 hit on it will max you. Worst case take armor roll and armor temper. Incense helps too
Does this still perform as well or have they nerfed it? I''ve been trying a variety of fireball builds and I've never seen more than 500M crit damage once. What is the key to getting that high billion range damage?
I think it comes down to having glyphs to 100, hitting Mw on fireball ranks, having all the mythics and having a very good amulet. There could be an interaction with devouring blaze as well. I don’t exactly know how it’s bugged so I’m not totally sure. I just know when the fireballs explode on the third bounce in a wide open area it does billions

I don't understand how this is possible, but I can't pass 90 Pit with this build (shroud unstable ver.). Tormented bosses die in a few seconds, I never have a problem elsewhere, but in Pit it's somehow limited....
so the build needs the fireballs to do the full bounce to get the bugged damage, so in pit with tight corridors, the damage isn't allowed to cheese itself because the walls eat the fireballs
Hey I’m running devouring blaze and glass cannon and is not to bad … my glyphs are at lvl 59 and no all my gear is max … but I’m already doing pits 70 easy with 3 to 5 minutes …. Fire balls is fun
I've no idea what i'm doing wrong. i have 250 paragon, have all ubers except Shroud but I'm running raiment and i'm pumping out 10million damage only. my glyphs are all around lvl 50.

@@TheMETALICA40 illuminator gloves are allowing Destructive Fireball to calculate and apply Destructive Fireball multiple times when that should only happen once, and endless rage makes it even easier for this to happen - someone said
It should not get adjusted until next season. But yes we believe it is bugged. They only adjust bugs mid season if they have a negative impact on other players such as sspiritborn evade builds
yeah i think so. but tbh its whatever you like more. fireball is just a boss killer tbh. and a horde farmer. I did pit 95 but its clunky in corridors and hallways, nukes the pit bosses tho
Well i got baited by lightning spear already which is definitely not S tier. About paragon 240 with pretty decent min/maxed gear, im at pit 89 right now. single target damage is quite pathetic if theres no trash mobs around to bounce splintering off of.
Yeah that’s why I’m all my builds I take splintering on a 1x aspect slot just to aid in mob damage. It can’t boss well when it’s the main attraction. I like splintering as an accessory
@@Lurkin17 ill give the fireball a shot. Not many people are playing sorc, but almost none of them are going to be able to clear a high enough pit to get glyphs to 100. Honesty i dont think Ill be able to get them to 100, and i did pit 167 is s4. Even if our damage was patched to 10x, we still just a pimple on a spiritborns ass.
its pretty dialed in. i made an adjustment for pit, but tbh this has the damage for 100 but it just cant do it because you need to fish for open maps and you cant handle anything that has corridors. but it smashed a 95 just fine. its a boss killer
it should be good at 2 mana per bounce. if you have a 1 mana per bounce it sucks. if your fireballs are clipping into walls it can struggle. once you masterwork and it goes to 3, should be smooth sailing
Soooo yeah. I didn’t notice because I always use redamine buzz that ones on me. I adjust some things and please read below the gear section, I talk about how to fix it
For fireball, I’d go perdition for the 60% damage. You can temper a legendary ring to get comparable attack speed to starless and you don’t need the mana cost reduction with illuminators
the mana should sustain itself given you don't have a minimum rolled 1 mana per bounce. You will have mana issues sometimes in corridors pre starless because the fireballs need to bounce, and not get eaten by walls
I close pit 100, my FB sorc, at open space map, special roll pit without corridors, waste all time and more i get in 25min, but I did it, 90 lvl pit I close easy , 95 regular norm, the problem start after 97... in corridors it's unreal , but still real on 95. Build same only it's Fire Ball , all another, my guid is very different.
yeah the build has max health issues, you can opt to run a legendary chest or shroud of false death to circumvent these issues. Raiment is not necessary
The issue i have with this build is i cant get staff of endless rage to drop nor can i beat lord zir to get it no can i find any parties to help, drop rates have been horrid for me this season, mostly trash on torment 1 I think ive had maybe 4 uniques drop and 1 ancestral, i assume all good drops are behind the expansion, I assume i have to buy that to be an op spritborn in order to beat bosses.

a lot better, but yeah dude the walls are an issue. Fireball can 4 man nuke duriel in like 3 seconds alone. CL can eek by a 1 phase on duriel solo

Yeah if you don’t want TP enchant run Frozen orb enchant. There are some flex skill points

Pyro = exploit = flamefeeder. Control is too situational

Yeah my gear is cracked and my glyphs are maxed. Amulet and glyphs add a lot of dmg
Are you sure? I don't have starless nor amulet and I see 100-200m sometimes. 46 glyphs
What would you recommend as the best elixir/incense to run with this build? Just the straight INT or crit chance ones?
tam-ohm for warcry, Lith + zec for ult reducing, or lith + dark shroud, or lith + whatever tickles your fancy

I sometimes do. spear is for vulnerable. Theres a few ways to run the build, you can do a pick 2 system of spear, familiar, and unstable currents tbh

Im thinking about swapping out tactician for exploit, i already swapped out unleash for control because i dont need the mana reg from unleash anymore and control gives way more damage than the 8%x that unleash provides.

Fun build but resistances are super low? I'm paragon 226 and mine are all between 32.5 and 47.5 which makes things spicy at times.

@@Lurkin17 yes I have 3 GA rakanoth but the 1 non ga is resist. But going by your guide it doesn't mw resists so I assumed it was setup for paragon or something.
Tho i would like to play chainlightning, which i have gear for... but i cannot get enough life armor and resis compared to this awesome build.
I hit one billion after setting up my build as close as I can for now. Got Perdition from a resplendent cache. Had everything else decently rolled already. Need to get a better Illuminator though. Still 750 because I haven't run Beast much at all, but nearly max rolled. Only my Destruction glyph is at 45, everything else at 15. Will have to test on a world boss, but it blows up the training doll instantly. Very low HP though, but if it nearly onetaps bosses, whatev. Both shields will tank a few starting hits from most bosses initial attacks. Need to run Andariel.
Yeah the HP is its flaw. You may want to consider taking max life on the amulet over Conj mastery to offset it
Yup. I have a seperate set of chest, pants, and amulet with max life/armor/barrier/teleport for tanking, and going from T3 to T4 boss runs, with an amulet just with +%int, dev blaze, and max life. Go from 1500 (your build) to 4400 (or 5100 with shako) life. Easy enough to keep them in my inventory and swap out.
But I also want to see 5 billion dmg popup at some point, at least, before it's possibly nerfed and spiritborn/barb is buffed again.

evade is now teleport. teleport is a shock skill. during unstable shock skills make more shock skills, and familiar is technically a shock skill. but it makes fire familiars. isn't it fun how confusing it is

I think… with some paragon nodes… skulls + a single armor roll with a mw or 2 hit on it will max you. Worst case take armor roll and armor temper. Incense helps too

You basically just fill out the rare nodes on the 5 boards. Prioritizing max life, and DR nodes

Does this still perform as well or have they nerfed it? I''ve been trying a variety of fireball builds and I've never seen more than 500M crit damage once. What is the key to getting that high billion range damage?
I think it comes down to having glyphs to 100, hitting Mw on fireball ranks, having all the mythics and having a very good amulet. There could be an interaction with devouring blaze as well. I don’t exactly know how it’s bugged so I’m not totally sure. I just know when the fireballs explode on the third bounce in a wide open area it does billions

Shako, Godslayer, or legendary helmet with like snowveiled. Amulet is just whatever you can find

depends on your crit chance. you can always swap to rakanoths early and use Gar for 25% crit

Why unstable currents? What does that do for the build?
attackspeed burst, random conjuration summons
attack speed, makes familiars for more conjuration stacks and makes fire familiars for invoked 10% damage

the teleport enchant stacks up enlightenment faster as you are primarily casting fire skills, so every evade after a fireball cast adds 15 stacks
I don't understand how this is possible, but I can't pass 90 Pit with this build (shroud unstable ver.). Tormented bosses die in a few seconds, I never have a problem elsewhere, but in Pit it's somehow limited....
so the build needs the fireballs to do the full bounce to get the bugged damage, so in pit with tight corridors, the damage isn't allowed to cheese itself because the walls eat the fireballs
Hey I’m running devouring blaze and glass cannon and is not to bad … my glyphs are at lvl 59 and no all my gear is max … but I’m already doing pits 70 easy with 3 to 5 minutes …. Fire balls is fun

I've no idea what i'm doing wrong. i have 250 paragon, have all ubers except Shroud but I'm running raiment and i'm pumping out 10million damage only. my glyphs are all around lvl 50.

Its not a a bug its supposed to work that way but that doesnt mean it cant get nerfed.

It should not get adjusted until next season. But yes we believe it is bugged. They only adjust bugs mid season if they have a negative impact on other players such as sspiritborn evade builds

Well i got baited by lightning spear already which is definitely not S tier. About paragon 240 with pretty decent min/maxed gear, im at pit 89 right now. single target damage is quite pathetic if theres no trash mobs around to bounce splintering off of.
Yeah that’s why I’m all my builds I take splintering on a 1x aspect slot just to aid in mob damage. It can’t boss well when it’s the main attraction. I like splintering as an accessory
@@Lurkin17 ill give the fireball a shot. Not many people are playing sorc, but almost none of them are going to be able to clear a high enough pit to get glyphs to 100. Honesty i dont think Ill be able to get them to 100, and i did pit 167 is s4. Even if our damage was patched to 10x, we still just a pimple on a spiritborns ass.
Imagine how amazing this would be if the Fireballs also bounced off of walls and other solid objects.

its pretty dialed in. i made an adjustment for pit, but tbh this has the damage for 100 but it just cant do it because you need to fish for open maps and you cant handle anything that has corridors. but it smashed a 95 just fine.

I started running this build at lvl 178 and its awesome but I cant get my mana to sustain
it should be good at 2 mana per bounce. if you have a 1 mana per bounce it sucks. if your fireballs are clipping into walls it can struggle. once you masterwork and it goes to 3, should be smooth sailing

For fireball, I’d go perdition for the 60% damage. You can temper a legendary ring to get comparable attack speed to starless and you don’t need the mana cost reduction with illuminators

the mana should sustain itself given you don't have a minimum rolled 1 mana per bounce. You will have mana issues sometimes in corridors pre starless because the fireballs need to bounce, and not get eaten by walls

I close pit 100, my FB sorc, at open space map, special roll pit without corridors, waste all time and more i get in 25min, but I did it, 90 lvl pit I close easy , 95 regular norm, the problem start after 97... in corridors it's unreal , but still real on 95.
Build same only it's Fire Ball , all another, my guid is very different.
I’ve seen clears of T100 on fireball. Myself personally I had the time for a 98, I think I cleared 95 or 97 and called it

I have similar build. Massive damage but I’m finding myself extremely squishy.
yeah the build has max health issues, you can opt to run a legendary chest or shroud of false death to circumvent these issues. Raiment is not necessary
The issue i have with this build is i cant get staff of endless rage to drop nor can i beat lord zir to get it no can i find any parties to help, drop rates have been horrid for me this season, mostly trash on torment 1 I think ive had maybe 4 uniques drop and 1 ancestral, i assume all good drops are behind the expansion, I assume i have to buy that to be an op spritborn in order to beat bosses.
hmm just do a rotation at varshan. someone will carry you. or ask people in the sorc channel discord for varshan kills people have mats

Yeahhhhh I use Redamine buzz incense always so I didn’t notice. I updated the affixes to get more life and mentioned it can be squishy and how to fix it
