@@Yeedeed for sure hit me up. I would love to ride the Creeper Trail!. My uncle rides from Abingdon to White top multiple times a years. It's been what seems like a life time since I've rode it!
such a beautiful bike trip! I'll be in it for the first time in just over a week. Sooo many 'Whoa, Wow's' in your commentary. I thought that was funny! Did you have a hard time with your bike tires, seemed like the wrong ones. Was that your personal bike or a rented one?
You will absolutely love it when you go! I can't wait until the next time we visit my Girlfriend's parents in VA, because we will bring them to the Creeper Trail with us. And yep, I had the wrong tires. We brought our own bikes, and mine had completely flat road tires. The trail is almost entirely gravel so it was a bit tough! And bike with some grip to the tires and you will be fine. Please let me know how your experience was after you finish it!
@@Yeedeed cool! My in laws live in VA also. We come up from Florida a lot… like Austin, no mountains here for us. I’ll be doing this trip with my son and we will be renting bikes. I just learned about the trail a week ago. I was asking some questions on socials about AT and Damascus and this is highly recommended, looks so incredible! Thanks for sharing.
Ah yeah Florida, flattish and like us, you guys regularly have to deal with hurricanes! So the company who shuttled us to the top also rent out bikes. Although by this point you might have already arranged all of that stuff huh?
It’s a grind from Damascus to Whitetop, but so much fun coming back down!
Haha. I live in Bristol Va so this is literally in my back yard. Used to ride it when I was just a kid 20+ years ago.
Next time I am graced with a chance to go to VA and get to go there again, you should come with

I live in Roanoke, Va., and so far I have been on 4 different Trails in Virginia and hopefully I'll get to ride on this one soon.
The wife and I just did this 3 days ago, it was great.

The Creeper is a fantastic trail. For me, the best and prettiest part is from Abington to Damascus.
🎉
Looks like a great trial but.
It wont last very long without a lot of bush hog work.
