I come actually from extended family, I am one of the five siblings . But now I stay with my parents, all of my brother and sisters got married and lived in other cities. I am nearly 32 years old and a single guy looking for love right now. I take after my mother because I am so economic and serious about life. I look like my grandfather as I guess. All in all we have a really tight realationship to my family members, we always meet up with each other and doing some fun to make our lives interesting. So it is all about my family 😊 thanks for your attention and time to look through it patiently 😉 thank you Keith as well and wish you the best of luck with your job posting!
Hello Keith! Thanks a lot for your lesson! You are the best! I come from a small family. I was an only child. My father passed away 25 years ago. My mother is still alive. Bless her. I see my mother a lot. I look like my mother, but I take after my father. Mom and I have our differences. Sometimes we fall out, but then we make up. Anyway, I love her. And I'm sure we are a tightly knit family. I am a parent. I have a son. He is 9 years old. As a parent, I try not to be overprotective. But to be honest sometimes I can be overprotective. I'm working on it. I don't want to spoil my son.

I come from a small family. I am one of two siblings, and I am the oldest. Actually, my parents separated many years ago. Now, I live with my mom and my brother. My mom and I have our differences, but I always respect her opinions. We certainly have our ups and downs, and although we do fall out sometimes, we usually make up. I have a close-knit relationship with my brother. He is very nice. My mom and my brother are like two peas in a pod. We don't have sibling rivalry and always support each other. Currently, I don't see them often because I study abroad, but we do stay in touch on Facebook and Zalo. I miss them to bits. For me, family is the most important thing. They mean the world to me
My son looks like me, and the interesting thing is that he takes after me. My parents brought me up with good values. And I'm trying to bring my son up with good values as well. My family is everything to me. I love my family to bits. My family mean the world to me.

(=don’t always agree or get on well) Sometimes we fall out, but soon we make up. (fall out: argue and no longer speak | make up: become friends again) We are a close family. We are a tight knit family. (or tightly knit) You may have your differences. (= to have disagreements) My family is everything to me. I love them (my family) to bits. (= a lot) My family mean the world to me. As parents, they have tried not to be overprotective. I don’t want to spoil my children. My parents have always tried not to spoon feed their children. I look like my father. (= I’m spitting image of my father) Personality: I take after my father. My parents brought me up with good values. (bring up: educate) I don't see a lot of my family. Love: It was love at first sight. I fell for her instantly. We just clicked. (=to click: to get on well) We’ve grown to love each other over time. We’ve grown closer and closer over time. Blood is thicker than water. (=is more important than friends)
Hi Keith! I can’t thank you enough! Your videos really helped me. I passed the exam on my first take. Thank you!!!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Greetings from the Philippines!
I come from a small family. I have a lovely wife and a small son (Ryan). I have two siblings as well, one little sis and a little brother. My brother and I are like two peas in a pod. My family means the world to me.
I would like to talk about my family. I come from a relatively large family. I was the youngest child of six siblings. To be honest, we are a tightly knit family. As I remember, there wasn’t sibling rivalry between us. Even though we sometimes have ups and downs, we love each other to bites. And then we make up. My older sister and I are like chalks and cheese. In fact, we don’t have much in common. Indeed, I take after my father. I’m also a spitting image of him. I can say, my family means the world to me❤️
I come from a big family I was one of 5 siblings I am the eldest My brothers n i are like chalk and cheese We have our ups and downs We dont always see eye to eye Sometimes we fall out but then we make up We are a tightly knit family I love my family to bits My family mean the world to me
I want to talk about my family.I come from a medium sized family.I have 2 sisters and I'm the oldest of the siblings. My sisters and I have differences and many people say I look like my father.I take after my father.I'm the spitting image of my dad.But we are always fall out and then we make up like nothing happened. As for my sisters,I don't see a lot of them because I currently live in another city.We are like chalk and cheese.I really miss my mom's love cooking but now my mom feels Ca stomach deeply so she can't cook for me right now when I come back to home.To be honest,I love my family to bits. That is all about my family. Thanks for your lesson.I'm trying to improve my English skills.
Great stuff Keith! This topic may seem simple but there are so many mistakes that students make like: 1.We are four in our family ❌ There are four of us in our family ✅ 2. I was raised up by my mother ❌ I was raised by my mother ✅ I was brought up by my mother ✅ 3. I have three cousin brothers (this is an Indian translation) I have three cousins ✅
I come from a big family :) , I've eleven siblings , I've a twin sister, we're like two peas in a pod but we fall out sometimes but we quickly make it up 😜☺️ usually our disagreement lasts just one or two hours , alhamdulilleh, Allah blessed me with a very loving , supportive family, we're tightly knit with some ups and downs though 😉☺️
I come from a small family. I was a youngest child of 2 siblings and I would say that 2 of us are different. If I say that my family is always get on well with each other, it must be a lie. Definitely, We go through ups and downs and sometimes, we do fall out but then usually make up instantly. Talking about our parents, I take after my Dad, however, I am the spitting image of my mother. I can say with my confidence that my family is a tight knit family. Unfortunately, I am not living with my family because of my studying, but we still keep in touch in Fb, and Whatsapp, My family means a world to me and I really miss them
Hello Keith! My name is Lemar. I’ve been learning your videos for three weeks now. Your English is extremely clear to me. I understand100 percent of what you’re talking about. In our language (Turkish) we have an equivalent idiom for "blood is thicker than water" and it literally means "if we eat eachothers' flesh,we don't throw away our bones'. 🙂

There are 10 of us in my family I come from a big family. I am one of 10 siblings. It’s my nuclear family. If you ask about my extended family it is so big. I can say there are over 100 of us 😅 some times I fall out with them and it takes long time to make peace again. Thank you so much for these stunning videos 🎉
I am from big size of family. I am the oldest child of the 3 siblings. I think 3 of us a quite different. We certainly have our ups and downs and although we do fall out sometimes, we usually make up. Unfortunately i don't see them a lot because we live in other cities, but we do stay in touch with telegram or telephone. Talking about my parents, i take after my dad, and actually I'm the spitting image of him. I would say i have my dad's brain like good at math. And thanks god for my dad isn't passed away. I haven't been married. And i haven't and son or daughter. Hello Keith. Thank you about your lessons.

Keith, I have a question about the pink text that appears on your screen at 23:36, is it "we complement each other" or "we compliment each other"? from the context I would have thought it to be "complement"...I'm not trying to correct you as I don't really know the answer, just an honest question, thank you for your wonderful lessons!
I come from a small family. l was one of two siblings. My sister and I are like chalk and cheese. There are 5 of us in my family. We are tightly knit family. We have ups and downs. My family mean the world to me.
Hello Keith! Thanks from Russia for this video!;)) I have two families: mother's family and father's family. My father has other children from his new wife. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately, I don't now actually😅) you didn't speak about this type of family relations. How should I call father's wife? Mother-in-law? And how I can call my brothers from her? In Russian we can call this type of relation like "brothers/sisters by blood". What about English?
Hi Keith, today I'll tell you about my family. I come from a small family and I was a youngest child of two siblings. My brother and I are like two peas in a pod. We get along well with each other although we fall out sometimes but then we make up. Talking about my parents, I'm a spitting image of my dad and so is my brother and actually I take after him too. I would say I only have my mom's hair. It's quite thick and straight. My mom is a good cook but unfortunately I'm not as good at cooking as her. On top of that, my parents brought me up with good value and I love them to bits. Thank you so much, my teacher!

Well of course my family means so much for me. There are 4 of us in my family and i was one child of 3 siblings. We just have mom as a single parents after our dad has passed away at 2011. As a family, we grew ups and downs so many times and i think that is a very normal situation for everyone. That phase of life made us closer one to another. And thank to God, we're still family, and grow stronger after all.
Hi Keith! among all the other review materials and video tutorials that I've watched about speaking, yours were the greatest! from a speaking band score of 7 to 8! I totally love your videos! I still watch them now! God bless your wonderful heart! All the best!
In russian we have such phrases: "An apple doesn't fall far from the apple tree" (Яблоко от яблони недалеко падает) which means that children will always inherit their parents' features. "A seventh water on kisel'". (Седьмая вода на киселе) That phrase is used to describe a very very far relative. "Kisel" is traditional russian drink made of water, berry juice and starch. "A seventh water" means that the drink is very diluted. "Come you, my droplet of blood " (Кровинушка ты моя) is used to describe deep parental love with a tinge of welcoming and also bitterness (for example in a moment of unity after a period of separation).
I come from a big family. There are 6 of us in my family. Specificly, I am one of 4 siblings, and there are a lot of sibling rivalry in my family! 😁 What is more, I look like my grandfather, but sadly he passed away when I was a little kid. Greetings Sir Keith! I just want to say thank you very much because you are one of the best teachers that I have ever encountered here in RUclips. I got my much needed band score of 7 in Speaking!! You have this video that really pushed me to be calm within minutes before going inside the testing room. And everthing that you said in that video, happened with me. The examiner was oozing with positive vibes, it was like I was having a conversation with a friend and, I really just tried to enjoy the test, and I did!! May the Lord always bless you Sir, for you deserve it. I will surely encourage my friends to subscribe to your channel! Thank you again very much Sir!
Hello sir. U r my inspiration . I come from a small tightly knit family. There are four of us in our family, I was elderly one of the siblings. Usually, we have our differences as well as have a ups and downs. My brother and 1 are two peas in pod. .
Hello Keith, I come from a big sized family; I was the youngest child of five siblings. Sometimes, we do fall out, but we usually make up. I also take after my father; I'm his spitting image. I have three kids, and I try not to be overprotective. And don't spoon-feed them. I try to bring up my children with good values.
I am from a small family, i have an elder sister. I think all both of us are quite different. My sister is relaxed and laid-back person and i am more in control and stressful one. We have certainly have our ups and downs and although we do fall out sometimes, we usually make up. We are tightly knit family. I love my family to bits. Talking about my parents, they brought up me with great values so i am grateful to them for that. My mother and my father are like chalk and cheese. My father is so calm and cool, my mum is more stressful and anxious. But i think these differences make their relationship interesting and strong. They’ve grown to love each other over time. For sure our family’s most loved person is my nephew. He is the spitting image of me. I would say he also has my sense of homour. Because he is the only child in the family he is sometimes spoiled by us but we try not to spoon feed him.
I'm from a medium-sized family. I was the oldest child of 2 siblings. in my family, I take after my dad. I'm also the spitting image of him my dad and I are like 2 peas in a pod. We are sense of humor person and we are extrovert my mom and I are like chalk and cheese. My mom likes to be in control. But, I would say undoubtedly, she is much smarter and better looking than the pair of us For me, Blood is thicker than water♥♥
I come from a small tightly knit family. There are 4 of us and I was one of 2 siblings. My sister and I are like chalk and cheese .although my parents brought us up with good values and typically tried not to be overprotective there was a lot of sibling rivalry in my family when we were younger throughout playing with toys. I bear a striking resemblance to my mother. there was a lot of conflict between my father and me but there were rewarding experiences for me. About my husband, we have grown closer and closer over the years. I’ve known him for 10 years. we are like 2 peas in a pod however have our ups and downs and occasionally don’t see eye to eye. overall, family is everything to me and I believe that blood is thicker than water.

Model answers: 1. What’s your family like? I am from a medium-sized family, I was the youngest child of three siblings. I think all three of us are quite different. My brother and sister are quite extroverted, and I’m definitely the most introverted. We certainly have our ups and downs, and although we do fall out sometimes, we usually make up. Unfortunately, I don’t see a lot of them because I live abroad, but that said, we do stay in touch with WhatsApp. Talking about my parents, I take after my Dad, and actually, I am also the spitting image of him. I would say, I have my mother’s love of cooking, but unfortunately, she passed away many years ago. Of course, I’m married now and I have been married for around 20 years we have a daughter who is fifteen. To be honest, my wife and I are like chalk and cheese, but I think it’s the differences that make our relationship interesting, and certainly keep us on our toes. Between you and me, my wife likes to be in control, and I think I am mister laid-back. I am much more relaxed and easygoing, but all in all, we complement each other. As for our daughter, well she is a mix of both of us in a way, but I would say undoubtedly, she is much smarter and better looking than the pair of us.
I come from medium family. There are seven of us in my family. I was two of four siblings. My brother, sisters and I like chalk and cheese, sometimes we fall out but then we make up. Unfortunately, I don't see a lot of them because I stay in different city. But I meet them in weekend or we do stay in touch with WhatsApp. Talking about my parents, I take after my father but I don't look like my Father or my mother. My family is everything, I love them to bits.
Hi Keith, to describe about my family, there are five of us who are living like a chalk and cheese. I come from a nuclear family. I was one of three siblings. The sibling rivalry among us were not seriously took place as we had six years age difference with each other. As husband and wife, we do not always see eye to eye. At times we fall out but then we make up that does not sounds like we are tightly knit together. I love them to bits. Am mother of three, elders are twins that too one boy and one girl aged about 10 and the little one is One year old boy. I try not to spoon feed them. I take after my father although am the spitting image of my mother. My parents taught me with good values. Since we are married for last 12 years I would say that it is not all bed of roses. We have grown to love each other over time with understanding and accepting each other's weaknesses and strength. Thanks Keith for giving this wonderful platform Am new to hear. You are professional on the same time homey.
Dear keith you are the best teacher i have ever seen in my life. And i`ve got a son.And i am practicing these lessons to get a high score just for his future.Thank you for all of your efforts

Hi there, I'm from a midimum-sized family, I was the oldest child of the three siblings. I think three of us are quite different. I sometimes do fall out but we often make up. I don't see a lot of them now because we live in different parts of the country. Having said that we still keep in tough through social media. Talk about my parents, I think I am a mix of my father and my mother in term of appearance and personality. My father is very hard working, engernetic and positve. He never says no to a challange. My mother is quite short-tempered but she is kind and attentive. She is a brilliant cook. And of course I am married. I have been for 6 years, and we have a daugter who is 4 years old. Everyone around us says she has a striking resemblance to my husband. My husband and I have ups and downs, though we have differences and we don't always see eye-to-eye but we are a tight knit family. As a parent I try not to be overprotective so that my child become more independent. But tobe honest sometimes I still spoon feed her. For me, family is everything and I love my family.
Hello Keith, thankx so much for an another beautiful yet useful lesson!! About my family: I come from a family of five. My uncle and aunty are living with us. They are healthy and happy. God bless! And what makes it more beautiful is my super active toddler who keeps us all busy 24/7. He takes after his father and also he is the spitting image of him. Such a doppelganger! I envy him for this🤣 Can't help sometimes!! As for my hubby, we are like chalk and cheese. We do fall out sometimes and we make it up too. Of course, we are tightly knit family and we love each other so much.
I come from a small family there are 5 of us in our family, I was one of the 3 siblings and my family is my world they're my motivation and inspiration, About my siblings were like chalk and cheese sometimes we fall out and sometimes we make it 😁

Now am living aboard and i dont have a chance to get my families, but some times we have been taking with phone for short time ....miss you my family
Hello Keith, my wife and I have an exam at the weekend and to be totally upfront, we feel fairly electrified. Anyway, in the end, we tried to do our utmost. When it comes to my family, I have been married for 3 years to my adorable wife. In all seriousness, we have our ups and downs like every couple however we make up for them. Moreover, it was love at first sight, we have grown closer and closer over years.
There are 4 of us in my family and I was the youngest child, like you, and the most introvert one as well! I take after my father and I'm actually the spitting image of his youth period. Also, I inherited some temperaments from him as my partner says to me: you're so stubborn! :)

Hello Keith! Thanks from Russia for this video!;))
I have two families: mother's family and father's family.
Received my result, scored 7.5 in speaking.Thank you so much Keith.
Hi Keith, today I'll tell you about my family.

In russian we have such phrases:
"An apple doesn't fall far from the apple tree" (Яблоко от яблони недалеко падает) which means that children will always inherit their parents' features.

Model answers:
There are 4 of us in my family

My brother, sisters and I like chalk and cheese, sometimes we fall out but then we make up.
Unfortunately, I don't see a lot of them because I stay in different city. But I meet them in weekend or we do stay in touch with WhatsApp.
Talking about my parents, I take after my father but I don't look like my Father or my mother.
My family is everything, I love them to bits.
I come from bigger family, I was one of 3 siblings. There are 6 of us in my family
Thanks Keith for giving this wonderful platform
Am new to hear.
You are professional on the same time homey.

About my family:
I come from a family of five.
I have three of them two boys and a girl. God bless them and you, amen 🙏❤️🎉.

I just want to say THANKS a lot Keith!

There are 4 of us in my family and I was the youngest child, like you, and the most introvert one as well! I take after my father and I'm actually the spitting image of his youth period. Also, I inherited some temperaments from him as my partner says to me: you're so stubborn! :)
