Motley crue was a big part of 80s glam metal and the lead singer of motley crue Vince Neil got in a car wreck with the drummer razzle in the passenger and razzle died
They are so terrible that it is hard to forget!
They hit me in a different way. They have more of a punk feel compared to other metal bands. I like it!!! Damn RIP Razzle, I bet they'd have done a lot more!

@@Vibeagain I don't think underrated but maybe unknown -- If you weren't into hair metal then chances are you NEVER heard of Hanoi Rocks, at least in the US. Some bands are like that... on a different note, Boney M was NEVER known in the US, even though they were known in Canada, so weird. Obviously since the internet they have become known but in the 80s they weren't

I think Nasty has cleaned up these days. Unlike Andy ;) I met Nasty once, about 30 years ago. His band Cheap And Nasty were playing the club I worked at. He actually seemed quite quiet and unassuming and only asked for bottled water on his rider.

Some people were born to be rock stars. Micheal Monroe, Andy McCoy and the rest of Hanoi just had that natural gift of being cool without even moving a finger. I am convinced Micheal was born to be the ultimate frontman. His looks, voice, just the way he carries himself the ultimate front man. In a just world Hanoi would have been as big as everyone else that ripped them off. Im glad the Dirt is opening up the pure rock n roll class that is Hanoi to younger generations.

So, this is the American version. I picked up the 12” of this at the time when over in the States on holiday. Loved Hanoi Rocks then, still love them now. Still going to see Sammi and Michael after all these years,( and they weren’t Wasted Years).
