these small SUVs and track setups are the way to go..... they may not be as capable as a full on sled but hey, it'll do the job for most needs and they roughly cost the same!
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Awesome seeing you and your boy doing things like this together. I'll have a Buschhhhhhhh Light to that. Merry Christmas and happy new year to you. About to take my first crank since March on Tuesday. Stupid rain in the forecast 😥
That's pretty cool. I use my jeep liberty as a side by side. Its about the same size as one. But way cheaper. Thats a fantastic idea with the tracks. Im going to look into that for snow wheeling
Merry Christmas Todd. Great work, great videos, appreciate the content and keep it coming! Just picked up a new XCR850 after being out of snowmobiling for a dozen years. Your channel has helped convince me to do it again.
Hey thanks for sharing Todd. I will be doing this to mine either this spring or next fall. This will very much help me to adapt mine to my Liberty. Good to know about the front ball joint location and the skid plate issue.
Hi Todd. Love the build ! Does the liberty have locking diffs? I'm going to try it with the kimpex commander WSS4 tracks. Did you need to lift your Jeep for this to work? Also wondering where you got that front bumper
Just was wondering on tracks for you side-by-side you have to have different sprocket size in the front then in the back do you have this problem doing it like this way or doesn’t it make a difference I’d really like to call you and ask you some more questions is this possible? Thank you really loved your idea.
That sure beats the hell out of a 35,000$ side by side!
Just seen a Polaris General listed at 45000. 🤣🤣

No kidding right 😁
Now that's awesome.

Will you be getting any footage of your ripping on sleds at the cabin? I really enjoy watching you on the different sleds. Thank you.😁👍👍👍
Definitely
Any updates on the Jeep? How have the tracks held up?
Hi Todd. Love the build !
Does the liberty have locking diffs?
I'm going to try it with the kimpex commander WSS4 tracks.
Did you need to lift your Jeep for this to work?
Also wondering where you got that front bumper
Built the front and rear bumpers. I have a 3 inch lift and no locking diffs.
I heard the jeeps are too heavy. Did any hubs crack or break on the tracks ?
Did you adjust your speedometer due to smaller drive wheel?
That is a lot cheaper then going with the Dominator Track kit. I think they said 10 000 plus tax's shipping. I needa try this on my old rav4 v6.. haha
Definitely a much cheaper option
What did you do to get rid of the traction control ?
Just was wondering on tracks for you side-by-side you have to have different sprocket size in the front then in the back do you have this problem doing it like this way or doesn’t it make a difference I’d really like to call you and ask you some more questions is this possible? I didn't see any issues
Hi any chance getting a width with tracks and height thank u ,got the tracks now ,summer project comming up
Hi could u tell me how wide and high it is with tracks ,I want to see if it will fit in Mt trailer ,great site just clicked on subscibe
Have you sold the rig yet or do you still love it? Looking to build one for ice fishing. Wondering if you had any regrets
That is awesome
Thanks
@todd clyne how wide is the liberty with tracks thank u
@@chrisb331 77 inches
Too. Cool ..
😁
That is awesome so cool , what would those cost approximately if I wanted to do that with my Jeep ?
5500
Thats very reasonable , do you have a link ?
@@mikedaigle9781 atvtracks.com
Any concern with the weight of the vehicle and these UTV tracks holding up (plastic idlers, etc)?
The jeep weighs 3200 the tracks are rated to 3400 and I think thats rated at about 80 percent of actual rating. 🤷 I'll give it a try.
You mentioned u have a lift of the liberty ,did you need it to fit tracks ,thank u
I would recommend a couple inch lift to clear them
Thank u
Can you drive this on the road legally? And what is the maximum speed for these you can safely operate
Yes and 30 mph
Where did you buy the tracks from?
Atvtracks.com
Do you have the link for the adapters from Amazon?
@@shawno9795 sorry I do not. I sold the tracks also
Only thing that could have made this even better is if it was a crd.
Right 😂
Now that you have a heated cab don’t give up riding sleds LOL
Haha this one is for night time riding 😂
How can i order a trash can for a greasy 96xcr600?
Email me polaris.trashcan@gmail.com
@@toddclyne3493 thank you!
Time to put a trash can on that Jeep 😉
