It's their best one, and thats saying something. Been a fan since 95 and I love all of them. But this new one is so unreal to me. I cant believe how good it is. Order for me goes Inlet DiH Astronaut Electra Fillet Show I never got into that much.
I just bought and have listened to it 4x since yesterday morning. I’ve been a huge fan since 95-96.. and I had no clue they released a new album until I seen it in RUclips. So god dam good
On Septermber 29, 1995, I went to a show with Bush, Toadies, and HUM in Orlando. Concert started at 6 p.m. in downtown on a Friday, so traffic sucked. Was coming from out of town and was late. HUM opened so I only caught the last part of "I Hate it Too." My love for HUM grew over the years so it bothered me more and more that I had missed my opportunity to see them. 23 YEARS LATER, I got to see this performance at FEST 16. It was as glorious as I had dreamed it would be. It was surreal as I stood there (jumped, screamed, sang) and their EXTREMELY LOUD, beautiful music felt like it literally flowed over me and through me. Epic, epic, performance and well worth the wait. A little hole in my soul was filled that night, and I am a more whole person because of it. Shared the experience with my brother, who was at the Orlando show too and had waited to see them again as well. That made it even more special. I'm so grateful that it was captured on tape so I can relive it over and over! As a side note; I also saw Smoking Popes , whom I had been waiting to see for over 20 years because of a missed opportunity as well (tropical storm, you know Florida) at the same FEST. (That performance is on Feet First's channel as well.) So it was one of the best weekends of my life!

I can't believe they played Aphids live. That one and If You Are to Bloom are the only one's left on my list of fav songs I haven't seen live. And Hello Kitty too, but I don't expect to see that one any time soon...
It's so crazy these guys never made it big. Just some terrible luck. You can play You'd Prefer An Astronaut all the way through without skipping a song. That is so rare. That record was epic.
@@FeetFirstProductions props to you for bringing a recorder! Despite the obvious volume of Hum's music, audio quality here is great. I come back to this so many times in a week to get my fix. :)
Goatwhore ..It's a great black metal band from Louisiana that was started by Sammy Duet who was ironically enough in a band called Acid Bath that was way ahead of it's time so they never got their due just like Hum. Acid Bath blended old school psychedelic rock like T.Rex and The Doors with metal like Celtic Frost and Bathory to create a unique hybrid of sonic bliss. Seems fitting that he should wear this shirt because of the proximity to the Big Easy...
the simplicity of the vocals is essential Hum. Music this textured and sonic doesn’t need flashy vocals. That’s why I could never really get into the Deftones. The vocals are too much.
Bryan st Pere man, can we all just bask in his greatness…what a talent…sorely missed by all, Rest easy big man❤️
New Hum album just came out and it's fantastic

Similar experience for me but in Pensacola, FL.
Smoking Popes fucking suck 🤮
@@jeff7764 I hear Halsey's looking for fans...
Same tour, saw them in Omaha. Toadies were horrible. Hum was the highlight of the evening.
I was there. They were the loudest band by far. Even with good ear plugs and towards the back.
Saw these guys live at Rockafellas in Columbia SC on the "You'd Prefer An Astronaut" tour. Blown away. Still one of the best albums I've ever heard.
Great set by a very underated excellent band.Love matt's goatwhore shirt.R.I.P. Bryan. So sad to hear of his passing.Awesome musician.

These guys are getting better...!!!
Really really cool set list. I wish inklings had gotten recorded I love that track.
The wall of sound these guys make is amazing
Finally a decently recorded full set of HUM!! I heard they are working on new material!!!
It's here... now! humband.bandcamp.com/releases
@@Candle4523 I KNOW ITS AMAZE!
If only the mic was louder
this is an awesome performance! My fav band of all time, thanks to Chino Moreno (Deftones) who told me about this band!

It's an awesome album and it never gets old.
420th like! My favorite band till the very end...
New Hum album “inlet” is fucking phenomenal!
The only saving grace of 2020! Absolute magic.
@@lukerogers151 Do NOT forget Schadenfreude, the Shiner comeback LP!
I'm so glad there still going there music is way ahead of its time and I'd have to say they will always be my favorite band
Wow thank you so much for uploading this video ! Great quality, they just sound massive live ;)
And the problem with being up front. Vox not to be had. Thanks for this!
that last song they played was a fukin anthem of mine growing up. Fuck stars... it was this just cuz of the groove.
How lucky is the guy that recorded this. I wish I could have been there.
suicide machine sounds so good here
Was “The scientists” played?? All time favorite Hum song
5:03 Drumstick goes flying. Hahahhha
I was at this show :D RIP Bryan
Holy Hell!!! What or how many time signatures are in Inklings?!?
So cool.
Rest In Peace, Bryan.
Why the heck is there a dislike?!
It's by someone who doesn't know good music.
Shamelessly low amount of views, Drastically unknown band, however, everyone I get along with's favorite
How was this recorded? The audio sounds very good for just a standard camera interal mic.

@@Metalhead-uz5ub I love Acid Bath and Hum think of what a small world. I am a drummer to.
God is real, no way this life is a random accident, there's no way we're stardust
Had a revelation on mushrooms recently of precisely this
They'd be a better band if the vocals were better.
The vocals are perfect, dude.
Yeah Matt’s voice is awesome
love it or hate it... no way in the middle

@brandibeakley147 deftones have some very good songs and their instruments sounds are good but hum is a very amazing band as well.
awesome! still looking for a live version of *why i like the robins* X one day:)
