this shoe only had 4 og colors chicago homes, Unc powder blue, charcoal and red and the Olives also a cleat sample that mj rocked playing for the barons
Its simple fam! these are not an OG color of this sneaker! this colorway came during the wizards stint these were in the first wave of true retros after 2000
im not agreeing nor disagreeing with anyones opinion! technically its not an "original" color obviously as it was first dropped in 02 but MJ wore it so its def a classic shoe.
@@thesneakerprofessor23 that wasnt the point and doesnt change the fact that MJ didnt play actual NBA basketball games in any of the og ix colors! hell most of yall who wasnt really into shoes back then think that spacejams came out in the 90s with the movie lmao but those to my friend were a retro! classic colors are the colorways that were originally released for the debut of each model! anything released after 99 and that wasnt an original colorway is a retro.
@ when saying "most of yall" I hope your not referring to me. I am very well aware of what Jordan did or didn't play in. Personally I don't care whether or not people consider Cool Grey 9s "og" or "not og". MJ was playing baseball at the time the 9s released hence the design. I am very aware but thank you for the input
@ generalizing! and your personally not caring doesnt change the facts of nothing I siad in correlation to Nike and the time line of the products that released as OGs and the ones that released in retros! Its not about personally what you thought its about what it actually was! Respectfully!
@@noleyestoad4477space jams are a little tricky since Jordan did wear them during the 1995 playoffs…they just didn’t release to the public until 2000…technically they were a PE until the retro but he wore them along with the other OG colorways in 95-96…they are an OG colorway and sample pairs from 1995 were floating around online years ago
