It's a shame that EA BIG and MIDWAY aren't around anymore. It's been a long time since sports games have gotten any popular buzz outside of their communities. I would love another NHL Hitz, NFL Blitz or NBA Street Vol _ !!!
XSN Sports was so great it deserves its own video. It was so short lived, but every game was truly a gem. Even better than their competitors at the time: Links vs Tiger Woods PGA Tour, NBA Inside Drive vs NBA Live, NFL Fever vs Madden. RalliSport Challenge vs Colin McRae. NHL Rivals vs NHL Top Spin revived the tennis genre to the point of bringing back Virtua Tennis. And Amped? Still to this day, there's no competitor for this game.
NFL 2K5 was my most played "normal sports" game on xbox. The greatest football game ever made imo. So many feature packed modes and unlocking all the crib stuff was so cool
I’ll never forget waking up on Christmas morning and playing top spin and amped for like 25 minutes each and just switching the games out constantly lol
Thanks you so much for covering a very important era of the sixth generation consoles when there was so much variety and hidden gems on all three platforms from that time period. Although I grew up in the seventh generation, I do reminisce from that time as well! I am curious about something. How do you plan to review some of the OG Xbox Japanese titles since titles like how Wreckless: The Yakuza Missions had a Japanese only sequel?
Sega Soccer Slam is a great arcade-y football game I loved it and played a great deal of it with my friends, and that's saying much 'cause like you I could care less about football. I also recommend checking out Fifa Street 2 it's also a very arcade-y game and extremely fun
Never understood why SEGA never allowed 'SEGA Soccer Slam' to become backwards-compatible on modern Xbox consoles. Unless I'm missing something, it doesn't have any licensed sponsorship or music that would be an issue. Then again, neither did 'Spikeout Battle Street'. 😢 Shame too, since it deserves to be preserved.
thank you. Lot of pretenders, but only one *NBA Street.* For non sim basketball, the game (franchise) will never be topped. It's unfortunate the 7th gen version sucked.

Couldn’t agree more
ESPN nfl 2k5 needs to be on the list.
The Outlaw Golf series. I usually don't like golf but these games are a blast
NFL2K5 is GOATed. 20$ price at launch and you could customize the music from your hard drive. 11/10

Yeah Blitz deserves to be on the next iteration.
Everybody’s Golf is a really solid series as well!

Loved the video! The Amped series and Links 2004 are some of Xbox’s best. I’d love to try NBA Street!

I’ll never forget waking up on Christmas morning and playing top spin and amped for like 25 minutes each and just switching the games out constantly lol

Can you do a whole video on just Wreckless the Yakuza missions ? Thats was one of my favorite Xbox games.
I'll add it to recommendation list!

I never played the 7th gen version but I haven't heard great things.
Do a comparison

Do u like more the Amped Series or SSX?
Personally Amped, but I enjoy both!
It's obvious why the ps2 was the better system over xbox lmao
