Very good video. I found on my 307 (2003 HDI 90) that the lower of the 2 bolts to the brake/hub fouled the front brake caliper on removal. It hit the brake bleed nipple, so don't hammer the bolt out with a copper hammer without checking! I had to undo the lower brake pivot bolt and pull the caliper up. Interesting that he did not change the Nyloc nuts on the 2 bolts (Haynes says should do, but I'm not convinced they need it) and similarly the nut on the anti-roll bar that connects to the shock. You may need to have both wheels off the ground to get the anti-roll connected again, or even removed easily. One big error - he did not mark the rest position for the wiper blades with tape before removal. Get that wrong and the blades may tangle and flip, scratching the screen. To get the wiper arms off, undo the nut and just flex the solid arm up and down towards//away from the windshield. Comes off easy; no need for a puller. If fitting a scrapyard replacement, check the colour codes on the springs match before you take anything off. Not many DiY people have their totally magic spring compressor in the shed. Springs are DANGEROUS without the proper tools. When refitting, you may like to remove the mud that collects in the screen surrounds and the leaves that collect where the bonnet brackets go.
Once I put the retaining nut back over the bearing and reinsert the strut, I find a gap between the retaining cup and the the top of the strut well, therefore top of strut remains loose and wont tighten completely down ..why?
