They keep saying “grow the middle class” instead of saying “eliminate poverty”. They always leave rhetorical room for a poor class.
As I was reading your comment Hakeem Jeffries simultaneously says “we will grow the middle class” 😂 wth. But honestly the audience for this shit doesn’t believe eliminating poverty is possible. So many people believe poverty is a state of mind etc. Also, Harris/walz aren’t planning to eliminate poverty so that would be a lie.
there will always be poverty , this is one of the worst aspects of leftists , an often times inability to be pragmatic , growing the middle class is a win but you just cant help but be a glass half empty or a but i wanted chocolate not vanilla kind of person huh ?

@@09daniscool Those were all realistic goals , have you ever lived in Poverty ? i have . When i was a child and some people cant be helped . There will always be some level of society that fits a definition of poverty. No matter how hard we try to fix it , so yes i think helping the middle class is more important than hollow rhetoric about eliminating poverty , thats childish nonsense.
If during the work of making the middle class the dominate economic force in America we happen to eliminate MOST of poverty that will be a very great thing but i dont think we need to be glazing anyone up telling them we can eliminate poverty when it has existed since the first groups of people formed the first tiny communities.

Tribal land is often considered more akin to enclave nations here, which allows us an extra layer of hand-washing with regards to the situation. Thanks for pointing this out, though; when you literally live in the echo-chamber as I do, these things can be more difficult to realize.
