I have a question....on these high high gain modelers do the gates work beyond the capacity of real amps ? allowing extreme gain with perfect noise removal but natural feel . this question may require experience with the top gates and extreme gain type amps

Imho, the gates on modeling units work much better as the ones built in amps. Also you have way more control over the distortion stages and volume levels of the distinct blocks (e.g. Input/output volume, ODs, preamps, poweramps..) in the signal path. Never had any problems with gates in modeling units like the Mooer GE300, Ampero 2 stage , QC or Fractal audios. On the other hand, the only amp I own having a decent built gate is the ENGL Powerball....😉

Moin Daniel, hast du mal einen Vergleich zwischen dem Ampero II Stage und dem Headrush Core....würde mich mal interessieren wie dein Urteil oder deine Meinung dazu welcher mehr Vorteile bzw Sound mäßig vorne liegt....danke für eine Meinung von dir...Gruß

Hallo, ich arbeite an einem Video mit dem Ampero 2 stage und dem HRP. Für mich ist das Ampero soundmässig bei allem besser.Amps, cabs, Effekte,EQs.Leider hat es keine richtige Midi Implementierung (keine PC über Midi out), dafür aber nen guten PC editor.
