Is the Classic PS effect works better as a Drop tuner in comparison to the Pitch Shift effect?

from what I have gathered from the forum you more than likely can still use the pitch shifter in that same patch when the usb is not plugged in... I love how my ampero 2 stage sounds but it for sure has some bugs to work out.
