The first question was my question 😁.
Context: I'm 43, Catholic revert, super all in on The Faith, intentionally dating these last 4 years since my divorce and annulment were finalized. I have shared custody of my 7 year old daughter.
I only date or even talk to faithful practicing Catholic women. I've done all the apps and sites as well as YA events, volunteering, all sorts of church things, asking people to set me up. You name it, I've done it.
I actually met Dr. Mario at the National Catholic Singles Conference. We chatted there and then later on the phone he gave me advice on career discernment (I'm interested in counseling).
I've met dozens of women and it seems they all admire my virtue and most probably enjoy my company. I've only seriously dated one woman since Catholic dating. She was a single mom and it was long distance so getting together was basically impossible.
In the last year I've talked to/gone out with a bunch of women and it's all dead ends . Ghosting, friend-zoning, women who are just not interested in dating, others who start dating other guys, etc.
Personally, I think a lot of it has to do with me being a divorced single dad, but no one says that of course. They just lose interest.
Of course, I keep going but it's been a long streak of disappointment and it can get discouraging.
I have lots of fun non-talking date ideas, but I haven't had a chance to try them out yet ...
More than once I've had a woman cancel a 1st or 3rd date (without a reschedule)
    Thanks for your responses.
PS - single parents do not have ALL The freedom in the world. This is a pet peeve of mine when people say "single people have all the time in the world" 🫤

May I suggest another great resource: Holy Couples Academy by Raphy and Sara Feolino. Elizabeth interviewed them around 2020 in her podcast.
The good thing about their ministry is they have a community in addition to relationship speakers and courses. Singles, dating and married people welcome.

I agree. When I had hope that God was going to send me a Catholic husband, I had hope and lost 30lbs within 3 months. But that hope is gone, so the weight is creeping back. But I see that. And am trying to have hope in attaining heaven. But still, I pray for a husband. 😢
