Or equipment period. Slow cookers, rice cookers, crock pots etc… none are very expensive but you still don’t actually *need* them to cook anything. I want to learn how to do everything on the stove before I start taking shortcuts!
Don't get me wrong. This makes things easy. Depending I guess... but I saved up for 6 months and bought a wifi smoker from sportmans for like $450. It's worth the time man!
i got you Olive oil Garlic Powder Mesquite Paprika Ancho Chipotle bbq sauce 275 degrees 3 hours, check every hour and spray apple juice / apple cider vinegar bbq sauce 15-30min in oven put in mouth
i was looking for a recipe just like this one as a gift for my brother birthday, i just finished cooking it and he loves it! it was my first time doing something like this and it came out great especially thanks to your clear explanation and guidelines, thnk you!
I had to look up so many iterations of this recipe because so many of them had expensive smoker equipment that I didn't have. Glad I found this tutorial.❤
My hubby was supposed to cook them on the smoker but we got sidetracked. He asked me if I could do them in the oven. I had to research many videos to find something simple for me.
This video is so wholesome- also fellow Packer fan here; as soon as I saw the jersey I was tuned in! I just put mines in the oven now and they’re already smelling delicious
Update!!! Made these for a Mother’s Day as a gift to myself and everyone love them. But I was only able to save two for myself.LOL II used Tuffy Stone seasoning and bbq sauce on them. lol. So thank you so much for the great recipe.
Omg. I followed your directions but used a pork shoulder cut up. The absolute best. Omg. Thank you!! And I did it in my oven. Everyone thought I smoked them!
Best ever on RUclips. I am going to put them in the smoker for the first hour then move them to the grill which is essentially an oven. Can't wait, Thank You.
Thanks for your help man I’m out in Australia making this dish for my gf and her family so they get a taste of American bbq and your instructions were perfect!
@@itsyourkitchen7919 I will have to make them again, I used a honey based rub and with the brown sugar I put on top it was a tiny bit sweet but not bad by any means. I’ll leave the brown sugar out next time of use about a 1/4 a cup. Thanks for your video!
I made these a few times and they are great. I live in a townhouse community so I can’t grill. Things fantastic only changes I made were I coated in Dijon mustard instead of oil and used hot honey in the end. Good job it’s hard to have bbq in living situation such as mine. Not bad for a packers fan lol who dat haha
275*/3hrs. Checking every hour and spritzing with apple juice or ACV Coat your pork belly chunks w/olive oil , some mesquite seasoning, some garlic powder ( a little chipotle seasoning for a little kick) mix really good and don’t be afraid to add more seasoning. And your favorite bbq sauce, honey place on cookie rack on top of baking sheet and cooking spray. I typed this so I could screenshot and thought it maybe helpful to viewers. Thanks Shane for sharing!❤
This looks great! I'm excited to finally have a recipe I can do in the oven in my apartment since we aren't allowed to have grills. Can't wait to try it.
I’ve been following this recipe so far and I only have 15 min to go! So far they look AMAZING!! They smell amazing too! I have a feeling these are gonna be great!
Thanks for the recipe 😀 cant wait to try it. Usually i get a pork loin; use a cleaver & cut it width wise, pan sear them, then bbq sauce, proceeded by a bun & the fix-ens, or just on a plate by their lonesome.
I’m new to your channel and love the fact that you did this in the oven. Looks amazing and super easy to do , so thanks . I’m gonna make these hopefully tomorrow.
Used this method but went for a honey sriracha instead. They were insane I definitely recommend. (Tip: if you’re doing honey sir sriracha I recommend adding some Chinese mustard, soy, and Sweet Mirin to your seasonings before cooking and glazing.
❤WOW!!!! Thank you much for such a good video!!! So glad you made them in the oven! I don’t have a grill!!! I’m making these!!! You’re a good teacher!!!
Great job! They look like a fan favorite that would be gone quick. Speaking of chinese recipes, I would love to see a video of Chinese style beef and broccoli
He'll yea I'm making them today thanks dude!!! Defrosted a pork belly too I was gonna boil and deep fry but u made me wanna change it up this slab!! Awsome job!!!
Made this today and I am so glad that I decided to try your recipe out of all the recipe's I found on how to cook pork belly burnt ends in the oven. Turned out great and family loved it, this is going to be a new family favorite! I love how simple it is to make with ingredients I always have on hand. I used sweet baby Ray BBQ sauce because that's what we always have in the fridge and pantry and skipped adding the honey.
Shane, my family and I absolutely love pork. Thank you so very, very much for this "fantastic recipe." And I can cook it in my oven, which is so convenient. Much love peace and blessings to you and your family. 💋❤️🙏✝️🔥
I made mine with..get this...boneless pork backbone. I swear that's what was on the package. Dirt cheap. I did mine on a pellet grill at the station (with a pellet tube smoker inside) , finished them in the oven. I couldn't tell the difference between them and some real belly made on a huge stick burner at a BBQ competition at the Frio River. Greetings from S.E. Texas. Go Cowboys!
a good tip to levek it up is before u put the bbq put some butter and brown sugar and throw em to theoven for 15 min then put the bbq on top makes it tastier in another level (dont add the honey)
Followed the recipe to a T, the entire family loves it!! Now that I feel more confident with the process, I’m starting to experiment with different spices. All the best, from a fellow Packer Fan from Spain. Go-Pack-Go!!
This is incredibly helpful. Got some pork belly and live in a small apartment so no space for a smoker. Will be trying this for a BBQ pork belly burrito
Making something similar but with pork butt and your video of the oven baked recipe was a great guide. 2 things I added to my process was smoked paprika in the rub and liquid smoke to the apple juice mixture. seems to be giving it the trager vibe in the oven. I'll post how it ends up but thanks for the kick start, Gordon Ramsay's a pro but you made it easy.
Nice job Shane! I've been looking for a great way to do them in the oven. I'm so glad that I found your video. Loved the recipe and technique. I also subscribed 👍🏿😋
Finally a channel that shows things that you can make without super expensive equipment
Thanks! Was definitely a part of why I started it.
Or equipment period. Slow cookers, rice cookers, crock pots etc… none are very expensive but you still don’t actually *need* them to cook anything. I want to learn how to do everything on the stove before I start taking shortcuts!
Bro😂😂 man I was getting mad. I was like doesn't anyone make stuff in their kitchens inside. Some of us got apartment appliances not so hot😂
Don't get me wrong. This makes things easy. Depending I guess... but I saved up for 6 months and bought a wifi smoker from sportmans for like $450. It's worth the time man!
I Come back to this video everytime i want to make burnt ends in the oven
No fluff. Just cooking and with regular stuff. Straight to the point and easily reproducible. Mine came out so good. New sub. Hope the channel grows.
Thank you so much! New episodes are coming soon.
i got you
Olive oil
Garlic Powder
Mesquite
Paprika

bbq sauce
275 degrees
3 hours, check every hour and spray apple juice / apple cider vinegar
bbq sauce
15-30min in oven

This should be in the discription
Honey…sweet and sticky
Appreciate this post! Without a smoker I didn’t think it’d be possible. Love how down to earth you are as well man wish you nothing but success.
Thanks for the kind words!
