What are typically averaging in dps on these runs? I’ve been hearing that we should be using shield as the main Hp spender and casting FoL for spot healing. I’m still sort of stuck in the season 2 playstyle. Highest I’ve gone so far in this season are 21s
In this key I did 35k overall as you can see but im usually averaging about 40k dps. The higher the key, the more HP you naturally need to spend on WoG. If you want to minmax dps then ofc use as much HP as you can on SotR (shield). Holy shock and more specifically glimmer does a lot of our damage.
That being said, I think holy pala is in a bad spot dps wise. Not only is it sketchy to use HP on dps abilities when you might suddenly need it for WoG, but our dps rotation also costs a bunch of mana while doing bad damage compared to other healers. Feels kinda clunky too with every spell on GCD.
when is the best time to use FoL and Holy Light? I am used to WotlK and before HPal so this melee playstyle is really trippy. Do you try to only use Holy Light with Divine Favor since otherwise it's too slow or are there still situations where you would freecast it

You never use Holy Light outside of Divine Favor/Hand of Divinity. You wanna try and mostly, if not only use FoL when it's empowered by Infusion of Light. If you don't have an Infusion proc you can still use FoL if you have nothing else to heal with, but most of the time you have holy shock/WoG to use inbetween Infusion procs.

Bro how do you deal with the drown debuff, sometime it feels im heeling the debuff but people just keep loosing life i dont get it
Try to save some CDs for it, preferably triple Holy Shock from Daybreak. People should also be using self healing and healing pots, and you have LoH for emergency. I would say the responsibility isn't entirely on the healer if the person has self healing. But in this key +25 tyrannical its not too bad of an absorb.

My raid team needed a holy pal so I ended up filling that spot. I'm still playing pres tho, it's 480 ilvl! Just not pushing keys with it atm
