That was wicked mate. thanks!
Pretty solid video for beginners my dude! Something that really helped my arrangements become good was thinking of everything in an A-B-A-C pattern. A is the main idea(call), B is a slight variation (response), A again to solidify the main idea of the track, then C is another different variation that helps everything resolve with something like a flourish. Really helps to have a solid foundation then you can get more complex with it as you desire (not necessary at all though imo, most "good" music is pretty simple when you really pay attention to it).
100% bro
The more I DJ my music and produce the more I understand that minimalism is the way to go. Easier to finish tracks, easier to mix etc. thanks for the comment!
@@Fluxeon No problem! Amen to the minimalism take. Biggest mistake I see new producers make is always trying to get way too complicated right off the bat 😂
One of the best advise ive gotten in my music production journey....Follow
Thank you brother that’s the best compliment haha
Very interesting way of approaching and thinking arrangements, thank you very much !
glad it it helped bro!
Amazing video as always Vlad. Be sure to release those tunes soon too!
thank you Quinten! yeah, gotta release those some day :))
It was helpful indeed, thank you so much. :)
you're welcome brother!
Awesome stuff Vlad! Really clear to undertand call and response. The tough part is the sound selection here!
thanks broski
What helps me is understanding what sounds I like in my tracks, and having pretty much same sound selection in every track. Try it out!
great vid. thank you
Cheers bro!
Amazing tutorial thanks a lot. Seems like gotta learn about sound selection so they can compliment each other!
thanks brothat glad it help! Gotta make a new video about sound selection :)
Great tutorial thanks for the video! 🔥
Glad if it helped bro :)
thanks for sharing
Amazing video!!!
Thank you bro!
The terminology that you were looking for was “phrase”. When writing the melody it’s written in phrases. It’s similar to how one writes the verse & chorus. Each part has a number of phrases. You continue to break a melody into phrase where you would take a breath. In the fashion you choose you can assign different notes or phrases to other instruments or layer/harmonize to bring out the best in each line.
thanks for the input bro totally forgot about that term haha
🔥
Nice one!! Can you upload the PDF or a project to see exactly how to make it? 😅

Thanks mate 👊
Thanks for the great lesson, out of interest, what is the cello your using
can you use the same formular when using Either melodies or chords? I make music for fun.
Probably yeah, why not
@@Fluxeon I've been producing for fun since 2011 and I still haven't perfected my production...trying to emulate certain styles and tracks, etc.
@@RAM_845 well yeah it’s not easy tho… but very possible. What’s your goal with music?
@@Fluxeon I aim to create unique sounds, textures and style. For example I'd like to make a Hybrid Hardstyle/Happyhardcore or Trance/Techno hybrid
This is a groove based approach.
It’s a single melodic with layers. The approach can be placed just about anywhere. Accents and embellishments can be added as well as passing notes. The only part that you’ll want to avoid is losing clarity or muddying of your sound.
A lot of it just has to fit the genre you’re making.
Oh how I wish computer musicians didn’t say things like … ‘This changed my life’ because it is a sad statement to project …as your life is so much more than being able to create tracks … So very much more … And although there’s not a way I can find here to directly respond to Fluxeons reply (below). I will add to my observation and say that it is you who is projecting wants and expectations onto other people. I am simply trying to help you see this. ✌️
Maybe don't project your "wants" and expectations on other people?
For those who are interested in learning more about this, the musical term is called hocking.
This kind of music makes drunk people in the club start fights. You're spreading dirty, cheap music.
Mind your own business
Why are you on a video like this then? What should we all be listening to instead?
@@kp8923 Any kind and melodic music.
Even if it's house or techno or drum and bass.
@@Howard_in_space Very silly. There are many ways for music to have value. Melody is one of them.
@@Howard_in_space So what D&B you listen to? Clownstep? Mainstream D&B with cringy melodies? There's untold dark D&B, darker than this piece, you don't have a pot to urinate in with your comments.
