Interesting concept to use calix core technology: cost comparison with other CO2 capture technologies?

this is a very high energy process using lime to capture the CO2 instead of an artificial sorbent. The energy intensity of the Calcium Carbonate to lime conversion makes it unrealistic to use for DAC at scale when powered by renewable energy. Disappointing that so much effort has been wasted here

what example of artificial sorbent could be used, and production or synthesis of this sorbent, and the recycling or reusability and transport of this sorbent
