Mikey made his choice and I think Coach Dawkins help guide him out of California. They underestimate UCF Basketball. Just remember Coach Dawkibs went to Duke University and understand the principles of building a winning team. Good move Mikey. Lay low and understand yourself outside the Basketball court.
I was surprised that he was gonna play in Florida cause I thought he was gonna play in San Diego, but its good that hes gonna play somewhere hes never played before, I'm really excited and pray to God that he goes to the NBA
What no one is talking about is Johnny Dawkins the coach at UCF. Two time All-American at Duke and national player of the year in 1986 before being a first round draft pick (10th overall) by the Spurs. And he was an assistant at Duke with Coach k for 12 years. What he will learn from coach Dawkins is the same thing he would have learned from coach Hardaway to be a professional.

UCF honestly the best school for him to go to. It’s a small program in the best conference in the nation. Johnny Dawkins also an underrated coach.

Memphis did not stand beside him penny did.even after the case was done and Mikey was free to play.Memphis was playing with him and his career talking about they didn’t want him to be apart of Memphis and it wouldn’t be a good look on the university

As a Memphis tigers fan Mikey can go and we wish him the best, he wanted to come to Memphis and play right away when it was already a set rotation of players that got the team ranked in the top 15 and he wanted to get key rotation minutes when it wasn’t enough to go around. The school wanted him to red shirt and come back as a red shirt freshman and be the leader of next years team and be the featured player him and Jj taylor. They didn’t like that so he dipped and went to an I ranked school with no basketball history or doing anything outside of one year with taco fall. Wish him the best him and Jj but as of now Memphis didn’t have the minutes to give what he wanted, that could change with injuries but now it wasn’t there.

@@HeyCross-ss3wv he’s 6’2 or maybe 6 foot and has played on teams where he has always got every shot he wanted and could do no wrong because he was just more physically advanced but in college a 19 year old will get pushed around with ease by 21-24 year olds that won’t be a pro anywhere else but they have grown man strength and Mikey will mostly struggle plus UCF is in the big 12 that’s that hardest or second hardest basketball conference in college

This was the best decision he could make the big 12 they’re in fl smack dab in the heart of all the good training and body works he’ll need endorsements and their strength of schedule will help if he balls out…basically he didn’t duck the smoke he went to a better conference than he would’ve been in at Memphis so if he puts up a solid 15/4 types numbers with low turnovers he def goes lottery
