Totally agree with the third piece. I collect jackets in a variety of fabrics and styles. My base layer is usually a pair of trousers and matching sleeveless mock turtleneck or tank top. Neutrals work great for your base layer. Then top it with a blazer in a contrasting color or tweed. My favorite color combinations are camel and black or navy and white. Instantly stylish. Put your money in the jackets.
Love your style strategy! Investing in versatile jackets can truly elevate a basic outfit into something sophisticated and chic. Your color combinations are classic and timeless. 👌✨
I love jackets too and for me adding a scarf elevates the look, and inexpensively.
Please recommend stores for great jackets, thank you!
@@Julia29853 Forget normal stores. I order online from only three companies that I know fit me well. Carlisle, St John and Talbots. You can often get them a luxury consignment stores for half price. St John’s are the most expensive but they last forever. And best of all, if you stick with neutrals, you an mix and match them to create unlimited outfits.
@@bingm8109 me too. I was wearing a vintage Gucci scarf this week in butter yellow, beige and ivory. Paired with a tweed jacket in the same colors, beige trousers and an ivory shell. Looked amazing,
Grooming is number 1. If your hair has a fresh cut, your nails are perfectly manicured, you are clean and smell good and you have a sophisticated touch of just enough make-up to look polished, you can wear a potato sack and look impeccable. Straggly hair, yellow teeth, chipped polish and an absolutely bare face with no care taken to clean up brows and give your skin a fresh glow will kill any elegant vibe, before it's even there. And it doesn't even have to be chipped polish, dirty hair or pimply skin. You could be wearing Balenciaga and Hermes and have unpolished, unmanicured nails instead of short, filed nails with a clear polish, a grown-out haircut past its due date instead of a razor sharp straight, shiny bob, and the face you woke up with, instead of a touch of blush and mascara, and you will never look elegant. Grooming is EVERYTHING, and the good news is that perfect grooming doesn't take money and you don't have to be skinny or gorgeous to achieve it. It is attainable by all; you just need to care enough to make the effort every day.
P.S. Imo, there is no such thing as effortless elegance UNLESS you are perfectly groomed. If your hair falls into place with just a shake because you trim that half inch every month, if your skin is clean and fresh when you wake up because you do a little routine every night before bed and if you maintain your manicure daily with touch ups and hand cream, you CAN jump out of bed, get dressed and look great in no time. Elegance is the result of a constant, daily effort.
Omg. How long did that take to write ?
Well said! Thank you for the time spent to write this precious comment!❤
Excellent advice! You should do your own you tube
So true.
I totally agree! Elegance starts with self-care. A little daily effort can completely transform our look and self-confidence. 🌟
You are so right adding a third piece like a simple Blazer even over old blue jean makes a stunning outfit ❤😂
Absolutely! A blazer can completely transform an outfit, adding a touch of sophistication even to the most basic jeans. Glad you agree! It's amazing how small details make all the difference. ❤👖🧥
I love ❤️ the power of the third piece!
The power of the third piece truly transforms an outfit! ❤️
With spring around the corner...using my jackets to elevate my outfits along with trying the three layered look with mono look....
I live in a very hot/ humid , tropical climate. I would love for you to look at this for me please 😊
Same!
The transformative nature of a third piece is a great tip! It’s so obvious it was hidden.
I’ve used these tips in styling for forty years, they aren’t new, but they work. I don’t stack necklaces, they’re just too difficult to fasten myself, but I like the look. I never got past putting on two necklaces, and by then was in a temper already. Putting on jewelry with tricky clasps is what I miss my ex most for! I have had some clasps changed, I can’t use the ubiquitous lobster clasp for one thing (they rotate the wrong way, every time, in my fingers), but it’s hardly worth it for “fashion jewelry” (costume jewelry) or plated items. The last one I had changed cost me $250 and that was before 2008, when the price of gold soared (investors are hoarding gold bullion in vaults since the financial crisis of that year). I used to modify my own fashion jewelry, but with aging (age 63), I developed a slight hand tremor that makes it too tricky.
What a fascinating story! Your journey with jewelry showcases how adapting personal style over the years is an art form. I admire your resilience and creativity in tackling these challenges. 💎✨ :****
The third piece is a great look but what about in hot humid Florida?

A contrasting scarf around the waist is a good possibility.
I have always lived by the rule: Never wear anything that will pull focus away from your eyes and your smile. That includes wearing loud prints and large jewelry. Also, if your teeth are bad, adding a $400 blazer or purse isn't going to make you appear more elegant.
That's a great rule! Enhancing natural beauty always brings elegance. Accessories are complements, not substitutes for your personal shine. 💫
I loved your images for the triple layering of necklaces and the creative use of scarves for belts! However, I was confused as to how to wear my leather jacket (same as in your video) as a fashion piece. It’s just my “coat” when it goes with the outfit (as with any other coat). It would look ridiculous to keep a leather coat on indoors. Although, it would be awesome to watch your videos on advice regarding “whether you can mix metals” (like silver hardware on shoes, gold on belt or bag), what color shoes to wear with white pants or jeans, what shoes to wear with wide leg pants, whether a certain nail length/color was more elegant, hairstyles for sure, etc.
So on point and applicable to women of any age and income! Thank you!
Glad you found the tips useful!! :**
Thank you for your tips
Blessings! Thanks for the tips. 💄 is a must for me, even under the mask. I never want to be caught undone. I love a white tee shirt with a blazer. 🙏😊
👏👏👏👏😘❤️
This is such a great video (as I pull my lipstick from the inside pocket of my purse 😊). I also think a nice blazer in the color navy is classy and essential for elevating your style whether wearing jeans or slacks. Just looks so neat and nicely coordinated.
Glad you enjoyed the video, @Jennifer Kristin888! I agree, a navy blazer is a key piece that brings immediate elegance to any outfit, whether casual or formal. Its versatility is amazing! 💼🌟
1 extra layer of cloth really adds elegance.
Absolutely! An extra layer can truly make all the difference, adding not just elegance but also depth and visual interest to your outfit. 🧥✨
Its my hair. I find stright smooth shoulder length goes with any outfit. For evening a few strands tucked behind my ear with a simple hoop earring gives a simple finished look.
If you add something, such as a belt, scraf, necklace etc , in your outfit, then it may look totally different and become special. Thanks for your suggestion.
Exactly! Accessories like belts, scarves, and necklaces have the power to completely transform an outfit, making it unique and special. Glad you liked the suggestion! 🌟👜

Layered necklaces sounds fun.
👏👏👏👏
Colour and cut of the clothes. Material must be high quality. Line is key. Makeup light and hair fresh and groomed. Jewelry, not too much. Study the late... Caroline Bessett Kennedy. RIP. A lovely fragrance and a kind demeanor with good manners. Be patient when needed and firm as needed. You are a Queen.....act like one. The French woman knows the impact of a good lip.
Wise words! Caroline Bessette Kennedy was the epitome of elegance. The perfect blend of style, grace, and confidence. Let's take inspiration! 👑💖
Hi Carol can you do a video on sewing encouraging us how you can easily elevate your wardrobe on a budget as a seamstress
What about a super hot summer?
A contrasting scarf around the waist is a good possibility.
Straight body contributes❤️
Ty Carol. These tips really work
My mom always said If you do nothing else for make up , make sure you wear a bright lipstick ! She 84 and I’ve listened to her since i left University 40 plus years ago . Christian Dior holiday Red was always my lipstick of choice .
Your mom is wise! A vibrant lipstick makes all the difference. Christian Dior Holiday Red is a timeless classic. 💄❤️
Amal Clooney is not the first person I consider looking fashionable.
Heels will never let you down 😊❤
👏👏👏👏👏👏😘❤️
excellent tips
Thank you.❤
😘❤️
Style ideas are good, if u make videos keeping in mind if u can cover style based on weather, body types n skin tone ,we can pair jacket or coat during summer
Love your suggestion! Considering climate, body type, and skin tone is key for versatile and inclusive looks. I'll explore these ideas in future videos. Thanks for sharing! 🌞🧥
Simple and, still useful
😘😘😘

So glad you liked it! 💄 The right lipstick can truly transform any look. Keep slaying! 💋
Great video. Thank you
🥰😘❤️
Amal.Clooney is hardly an example of dressing on a budget!!
…. Add your favorite perfume 💐
Can you please link the French women tips video? 🙏
That is not true. Amal Clooney spends a hell of money on her clothes.
But once you can recognise her style its possible to imitate.. There are lots of decent fabrics out there that don't cost a fortune. When picking scrunch the garment a little bit in your hand, it should not crease easily. Wiggle it on the hangar, see how it drapes. Buy solid colors. Money & class are not the same thing!
Is a scarf considered a 3rd piece?
The first one
👏👏
You're talking about changing a jean skirt and adding a jacket, then you show jeans. Don't make sense 😕
Dressing elegant is dressing to the climate you live in..
❤❤❤
😘
❤❤❤❤
😘❤️
💖
😘
❤
😘
Yeah sure! But number one cultivate an impossibly lithesome slim body!
Exactly! I can promise you that if you add that little belt to a thick waist, elegant is the one thing it will NOT be.
Amal also has spent a whole lot of money on Plastic Surgery. Ha Ha 😅☕️
Your intro is too long
👍
Look dear
I am from Asia continent and I am also from Bangladesh 🇧🇩 a country, you can't show your skin or expose your skin too much ont only that, you have to carry extra duppata to hide your breast. And cover your self with dress.
So dear The dress code you are talking about simply not for us.
In India people can Expose skin and wear cloths like you western people
But it’s kinda impossible in Bangladesh.
We were
Sari our traditional dress, three pis, koti etc
Also I am Muslim
So I have to wear Hijab
So please do a video about it.
Why is this called Lucrative Elegance? How can elegance be lucrative?
AI
I don’t need to spend money to… get a belt?
I think I do…
It's hot now so.......
I don't care for a mall clooney's fashion at all!!!!!!
Don't like this channel hate the narration Looks like a bunch of pictures were pulled and narrated about lol
So why are you here...?
Neither of these women are paragons of elegance. How about Melania trump and Jackie Kennedy? How can you say we can do this for free? We don’t all have them hanging around. I don’t like vests or leather jackets and I am retired so I don’t wear blazers anymore.
You talk too much and don’t show cool things.. jeans and jeans skirt are boring!
Can you post high fashionable women of color?
Why? Fashion is fashion, not race.
Leader jacket is not elegant is cruel. Use your skin😢😢
ITA! There's very nice vegan leather, silk, etc. No reason to have "fashion" at the cost of pain, suffering & deaths to animals. ❤😊
