- Here is another treasure hunt on the river. No metal detector was used, just swimming around and looking. I find a creepy doll, tons of fishing gear, rings and a perfect camera. I hope you enjoy!

I want to do this at the Alligator River in North Carolina. It is a known fact that there used to be an old convenience store over top of the river on pilings. It is also known that the moonshine runners used this store as a boat pick up point in order to avoid the land bound US marshals back in the 20's. Sadly though In a fit of frustrated and defeated rage, the marshals burnt down the nifty store one night; and It is there under 10 feet of water that the soggy ruins await one last pick up :) AARRRRG!!!
I am going to lose my job because i cannot stop watching these videos.
***** xD what a great idea , i'll remember this idea when i'm older
To confirm you do not need to be CRB checked in the UK do not know where this guy got that information from. It is exactly the same as the USA you need to be medically fit and have done a suitable course, that is all. Somebody has been watching Fox news again ...
When I find someone who's worth watching, I start watching their videos from oldest to newest. This is the best video so far! Excellent!
Those rebel crawdads you found in that tackle box work wonders for large and small mouth. Some pan fish take them too. All around good lure.
I stumbled upon this and sure glad I did! I love looking for treasure. Used to go to the Jersey shore when I was little. We would find money, gold necklaces, sunglasses etc. So much fun!
Thanks ! I should have guessed . I lived there for a few years and I miss the rivers and creeks . Good Hunting !
I really enjoy watching your videos. I am kind of limited anymore. I turn 72 this month. I ave always done treasure hunting and general metal detecting as far back as I can remember. A friend an I did a lot of research on the Ruggles Brothers Stage robbery near Redding, Ca. We did a lot of ground pounding looking for the robbery stash. In the end we deduced it is probably under a house now. There was a swampy area were the stash could have been hid. That as been covered and built on. My wife and I read a story in Treasure Magazine years ago about a huge gold cross that had been hidden in a cave. All the caves we found were collapsed. I did get enough material to have a story posted in Treasure Magazine and was paid $49.00 dollars for the story. We also made a score in Vegas so it turned out to be a great trip and enjoyable trip.
Wow Beau! Sunglasses, cameras, cell phone, fishing tackles and booze to boot!! What a great hunt! Thanks for sharing!!
I love your style and humour!! I subbed after watching one of your videos and you kept saying "Y U PUT NO NUMBER?". I love your funny little comments.
Fantastic!! Once again you've taken your quests to a new level! Thanks for sharing
LOL! It looks like a fishing trip decided to fall in the lake.
really enjoy these river treasure videos! keep up the good work!
Great finds! I cannot believe that camera was working still. I need one for my kids in that brand!
Your so lucky to find all tht fishing gear! I would love to have tht much fishing stuff! I love fishing too!
Nice findings. Especially the bugout bag!
That platinum ring is an awesome find!! Great hunt Beau... Thanks for sharing your videos man...
That's pretty cool. I think I'd like to do this. I couldn't believe all of the rings you found.
"Baby your a rich man . . ." great finds Beau, thanks for taking me along, Rog
That's the kind of river treasures we love to find. An if we can we get it back to the rightful owners. Great hunting in the water chigg. We have lots an lots of streams an rivers thought out Kentucky. An we get in them as much as we can an find the craziest things, well you know. Great video from years gone bye. 😁👍👍
Hi There,
Really enjoying your videos. Your silver coin cache in the river especially. And I think it took guts to go back to the carpet in the truck! Amazing stuff. Be safe and continued success! Rory
Hey thanks for the great videos! I love your metal detecting finds a I've always wanted a metal detector myself. So your videos sort of make up for it. Thanks!
Two thing struck me as I watched this video, first is that I bet you haven't had to buy a rod and reel for a few years now, and second was why the hell you thought opening a bag underwater in a fast current would be a good idea, LoL
Then I remembered that it's just a video and calmed my ass down with a beer.
+Beau Ouimette Still can't get over the fact that YOU FOUND A GODDAMN WORKING CAMERA.
That was fun. Another great adventure with Beau.
Another awesome river bottom video! Thanks Beau!
i cant get over all the valuable jewelry, cameras and phones that you find.
Those are some nice looking "roy bans" there. Quite a haul, all the way around!
thanks for the videos im going to do this as well, huge tourist trap where im at should be awesome!
Hmmm that fish looks like a largemouth bass! Lots of fun to catch!
Just noticed your videos today and i love them, good job man. Greetings from Norway :)
Everytime you find a ring in the river i expect to hear "my preciousss" lol
Yeah me too, but from what I understand, I can do all the water hunting I want up here as long as I don't trespass on the banks of private property or state parks etc. The river up in this area is a popular area for tubing in the summer and the past floods have dropped who know what! You always welcome if you ever want to come. Have a great winter!
I'm from the hood in NYC and idk why buh I dead like watching your vids it's kinda cool to see old world stuff that's been hiding
Damn, if you and I weren't cut out of the same material, I don't know who was...This is right up my alley. I can't wait to try this here in CT. Wanna hunt a 1700's dump in my neck of the woods? It's right on a small river.....That is one place I'm going.
Nice finds, another great adventure...
That camera is an Olympus Tough pro digital camera. (Don't know the model) I have an older one. They are an unbelievably rugged digital camera. They are waterproof but it's unreal that it is still working from being down there for so long!
Geez Beau! Wow what a hunt...Killer stuff. Poor Barbie, she only thought she was a Mermaid!!! Hahahaa. Nice video Beau, thanks for sharing. GL & HH
Never boring. Always fun to watch.
really cool finds!!! i wear headphones watching the videos, and i keep trying to remember to breathe!!! it feels like im really there under the water... and i cant swim!!!! :) cheers, geoff
Hell of a haul, fun to watch. Cheers
The part with the liquor was badass!
outstanding treasure search, KING of the salvagers , well done !
Love that you take us with you while doing under water hunts. Those are my favorite videos!!! I imagine that you have tons of old civil war bullets from in the water. Any chance you'd let a few go? I have just the place for them !
After watching several more clips, I did see that everyone wants what you've got. I apologize for getting in that line too. I can see now that you have a plan! Whatever it is, I like that!
My pleasure- I do appreciate That kind of character. Patients is a virtue! I wonder if you would have any advise on cataloging your inventory. Is there a computer program that you would recommend, or a method that has worked well for you? I'm a newbie coin collector, and want to start off right by keeping track... Thkx
looks like that dive was Fun and profitable ! love to watch these when I cant get out!
thanks
I love the rings you find in this video! I wish I could find interesting things... c:
Your so lucky that you found all of that fishing stuff.
Great haul, Beau! Funny that people planning on spending time on the river would even wear their expensive jewelry items. Whenever I see your hand reaching amongst the rocks, I always expect a crayfish to grab a finger. Great video, as always.
Nothing beats the old Coors Light wedding ring
WOW! Was all that just one hunt??? Remarkable!
I'd love to see a roundup too. Some things I could not tell what they were.
wow, watching your vids makes me want to grab some scuba gear and go jump in a river XD
amazed at the amount of rings you found..
Very awesome, these videos are so exciting to watch. I can't get enough of them!
The ring that spins is a spinner ring, not sure if someone already mentioned that.
Well congrats on your finds. I hope I find some great relics soon.
Beau- "Honey, I'm going shopping, you want anything?" Cool hunt.
Your videos never cease to amaze! Great finds man!
Nice hunt!! Always a pleasure watching your vids, Beau
Wow Beau! A colonial buckle as well as all that loot! Love these vid's :)
I've never been creeped out by dolls until now... Between all the damn weapons, the 2 tagless vehicles, and this freaky doll, I'm starting to think you might have some weirdos living in your area!
Great video Beau! You are getting a good collection of sunnies and fishing tackle mate.
Good luck for next time.
Mark
Those rotating rings are worry rings, you spin it when you're worried. I found one at a water park about a couple weeks ago with Arabic writing on it, and I'm wearing it right now.
Great video, nice haul!
Thats what I call a target rich environment! Great video!
so interesting to watch! way better than anything on TV nowadays! 👀 way to eyeball stuff!!!!
its amazing the amount of stuff thats down there like the fishing rods and ray bands
lol wow so awesome... any cool pics on the cam lol
Great hunt! I always enjoy your videos.
this looks like so much fun, and finding stuff must have its perks
Great video Beau. I'm looking forward to 2014, that;s when I start detecting waters with my Garrett AT PRO. Between now and then, I'll be making up a list of places to hit when I start and there are a lot of rivers and creeks in my area. Keep the videos coming and as always, best of luck to you Beau!
I only have scuba dived a couple of times. There were 3 of us in Clear Creek down stream from Whiskey Town dam. The other two were looking for gold and a very nice nugget was found. My find in about 10 feet of water was a Kodak Instamatic camera with film in it. I was always going to see if I could get it developed. It is probably in one of my boxes of junk..
Aquachigger DUDE did you spell more right?
my mom heard me watching this but didn't see what i was watching and she asked me if this is a new dubstep song i was listening to lol
Judging by bottle caps drinking plus fishing equals lost stuff. Great vid
Very cool, Beau. The ring you found at the end and accidentally dropped with the engraving "CTR" means "Choose the Right." It's a Mormon-oriented slogan. I used to find rings like that all the time growing up. Looks like several others have mentioned that, though.
Always looking forward to my weekly "beau Ouimette" video!
Say, do you have any videos on how to disarm cannon balls/shot you find?
Keep up the great posts!!
I should be able to hit the like button for each find, great episode Beau!
Thanks for the upload! I really enjoy these videos!!
All the rivers around where I live have silt bottoms so are constantly muddy water. No change of ever doing that here.
no wander you do this, i cant believe the great stuff you find
They call those rings "Spinners", see a lot of them in the videos from Australia. You probably know that by now but just in case. Thank you for all of your videos and all the information you have given us
Great Hunt. You were cleaning it up down there. :-)
This video should be titled "River of Dreams".
We have a local river that hundreds of people go tubing down everyday.
You have inspired me to grab my mask & fins and get those "river treasures".
Thanks for posting your videos.
Don't apologize for the sound, it keeps it real and feels more "In The Moment" .... Were you going by sight the whole time or using a detector ?
Hunting in a river on a 99 degree day = C O O L
Love to watch the videos! Better than an ocean dive. Nice CTR ring....
wow love these vids proper exciting who knows whats down there superb stuff beau
take care buddy
john :)
Usted es el auténtico "Señor de los Anillos"!!. Saludos y buena búsqueda.
Great video. Love the camera find.
I'll bet you have one hell of a fishing lure collection!
Lots of fun!!!!!
no I was wondering and that's really cool how u find all of that stuff in there!!
great finding the blue camera!!! still works and all. any pics on it?
Looked through the comments and only saw one addressing the rings that had centers that moved. Those aren't called "floater" rings, They're called appropriately...."Spinner" rings since the part with the symbols on it spins in a groove on the larger part. They're very popular in Florida and you can get them at pretty much EVERY tourist shop. Most are in some sort of stainless but I have seen a few in lower karat white gold and sterling.
a lotr of stuff and even a bag to carry it all home in XD
Great video, I enjoyed watching pull all that stuff out. Did you have just a snorkel and mask or scuba gear ?
Wow. What a haul!
Fantastic vid ,bloody enjoyed that, well done on the finds mate. gl/hh for the next.
Great Job Man..... as ALWAYS!
Very cool video as always!!
That doll reminds me of the movie Cabin By The Lake....Creepy
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS...THANK YOU ;)
I have a very good feeling that I know where you're searching. Being from the area I can understand why most of this stuff is lost. They really trash the area with all the activity. Don't worry your secret is safe with me.
I believe the rings that slide around are called Worry Rings. It's a very common style these days. If it's a CTR ring it will have CTR on it somewhere. Not very valueable. Great vid again. Really enjoy them.
loving the videos ..all the way from london...makes me think what we have here in our ponds....?
I haven't been able to find your site on ebay. Someone said it was called "I got a whole bunch of cool stuff for sell - Cheap" People don't fish and swim in the rivers here in NH. Not around me anyway. All I find is crushed beer cans and old lighters. Fishing items. Cool video thanks for sharing.
