Curd is used extensively for marinating meat and fish. Anyone who doesn’t want to eat curd in their fish/meat, please don’t. My father is 88, my eldest uncle is 98. All the people in my family is doing fine, and fish is a daily thing in our household and extended family. Like it, eat it, don’t like it, don’t eat. But if you roll your eyes at Bengali cuisine, know that you are welcoming criticism to your native cuisine too.

You would be surprised to know that in our bengali cuisine, we have a dish called doi-mach (curd-fish). It's quite a delicacy. 😊
