Neena ji is called "bold" but she is the embodiment of poise and resilience. Of course it's not easy to go against the grain in our society but more than that it's harder to not show vulnerability. More power 🙌.
A lady with her own mind and very dignified. Better late than never... Please keep working Neenaji... Please keep giving her more good work... Show some respect "Bollywood".
I have grown up watching her , an ardent admirer of her movies , she is pretty ,graceful and very much genuine in her thoughts , she speaks of her mind. Love and respect for you Neena ji.
My heart was exploding with joy. The way she spoke about everything. The simplicity exuding in that kinda strength without making a big scene out of it. What an actor, what a lady. Love love love !
What a woman!! That clarity of thoughts, soft and shy, yet strong and steady, the purity of putting her needs first without being greedy or selfish, accepting herself, realising her drawbacks and strengths. Wow! It was a pleasure watching that childlike glee on her face and the glint in her eyes that comes with a new found fame n recognition. So good to have known the real Neena ji.
When she said, she had only ₹ 2000 in the bank at the time of Masaba's delivery, but God helped her.Her dad was her main support, see how God sends someone to help you.I like her frankness and her audacity to admit that she made mistakes and she felt guilty at that time.True person.
first of all, THANK YOU, Rajeev, for interviewing this amazing woman. I cried while watching her interview, she didn't say much but her eye says a lot of things. AMAZING AMAZING women. It shows that the bollywood film industry is not a family member after all. love her acting in Badhaaiho. I wish that Neena Ji & Seema Pahwa from Bareilly ki barfi would be nice to star in Saand Ki Aankh, they would be perfect for the role. can't wait for her new movie. Rajeev always does an amazing job and he also enjoys with them.
I saw Neena Gupta in cannes may 2018 walking down the street street wearing a black saree and flowing long black hair. She looked fantastic. Forget all the fake girls like Sonam etc this was the real deal. Cheers ma'am.
“ Oh mother in law was great, she just recently expired” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣AM DYING, BUT THIS IS WHAT U CALL INNOCENCE... Even in her sentence structure and choice of words... she exudes honesty
First Vidya Balan, and now Neena Gupta! Trupt ho gayi, as Neenaji says. I've been waiting for this interview ever since she tweeted at you for not calling her for the Actresses' round table and you responded. Thank you so much, Rajeev. Loved the part where she so innocently, yet forthrightly admits that it must be her honesty that makes people love her. :) As also her honesty in admitting that she would have loved to be desired as much as admired.
Thanks Rajeev. Neena Gupta seems the epitome of charm, and grace. Hope the newer platforms give these legends their much deserving admiration, recognition and success (in terms of more work). Kindly have an interview with Shefali Shah.
She is so inspiring. I mean hear her thoughts, struggle, her boldness, that all inspires me. Unlike other actors she has the guts & really is not shy of telling the true story of her life. She still stands firm and bold and that's the quality I want to take from her. Much love to her..😘😘
Her genuineness is at another level...while speaking no one offered me lead role,it feels as if she is wondering why this happened with her? Love your aura♥️♥️♥️
I can’t imagine this sort of honesty coming from anybody else on camera without holding a hidden agenda. Just honesty flowing through her talks about her guilts, desires, grudges, shyness, passion knowing that she could open herself to further judgements. But when you’ve gone through decades of judgements already, you kind of care only those of your own heart. She talked like somebody would only talk to their close family.
What lovely elegant lady! Such a modest down to earth girl next door ish gal. She is cute, endearing and beautiful woman! Love tons from Atlanta, GA. Love ❤️🥰 you mam😘. Rajeev, great job interviewing her, you truly made her comfortable. Both of you are inspiring me to do more outta life haha🤗🤗
What a beautiful woman. Thank you Rajeev for bringing her on the show. Younger people missed out on her shows and acting. But so glad she is back in the game... Can't wait for Panga.
She is adorable❤️❤️loved her!! Spoke like a true 60 yr "young"....having lived the 80s and 90s on her terms. Traditional and rooted....yet so open in her thoughts!!
One of the most honest and genuine people I have ever seen! Being an artist and an actor is something, but to see someone in the industry who hasn't gotten tainted by the ways of the business is beautiful, refreshing and simply unique! I wish for Neena Ma'am to get more work. Its always refreshing and a pleasure to see her on screen! Full of talent, innocence, purity, and genuinity.
This is one woman whose story is very strong and carries an important message. She has taught the world and women in general a lot from her very own experience.
Until now.. I didn't know much about her nor I admire or noticed her.. but today .. i've come to know how a lovely lady she is.. she is really an inspiration for younger as well as middle age generation.. thank you for launching a show like this.. i've watched two episodes till now .. one with sushmita sen n now this.. both of the episodes are amazing..
I like the way you are passionate about your work at 60. India needs women like you ( the person who you are) who can carry their profession and passion without looking out for sympathy and help all the time.
Beautiful interview. Neena ji should definitely make documentaries and films on her women empower stories. Loved it when she asked 'how many men look after parents in laws'.
Kudos to the honest and beautiful mindset that Neenaji has on life and everything else! She is a strong, independent, extremely talented woman who's killing it and looking more youthful at 60 than most actors do in their 20s! Also thanks to Rajeev for asking the real questions and bringing her on for the interview.Great choice!
I have always admired you for the person who you are Ninaji!! You have defined your self as nobody has done !! In great awe for you . Loads of love to you and would like to meet you !
Great interview so glad Rajeev made the follow up call up to get the interview. Very honest and inspiriting lady....India has kept her a secret for too long and its now time to share with the rest of the world. Looking forward to watching more of her films and now have to research her back catalogue.
TBH neena Ji is not only honest and candid, but very smart as well... I have lost count of the times she has had to repeat her Vivian Richard love affair story and the trouble she went through in raisin pg Masaba..... my gawddddd my appreciation level has gone up for her
