Neena Gupta was among my favorites while growing up........she still remains my favorite and is as charming as ever despite all that she has been through. Masaba like her mother is twice as charming........clear headed and accomplished......was such a joy hearing them speak their minds......Cheers to these two fabulous women!
Both women are achievers in their own sense and have set an example by living wonderfully dignified lives yet the tone of entire interview was about the "relationship" and the "illegitimacy"
Aren't there better interviewers other than Mr Rajdeep in India? Neena is and has been a great mother to Masaba, who is so grounded. Mother and daughter are also so polite to this rather intrusive man who doesn't mince his words.
Not mincing words is fine but to keep the focus on somebody not there in her life any more and to keep saying‘television’ actor. As if it is somewhat less when a lot of Bollywood’stars’ vie for television shows.
@@lalitharavindran Yes to dwell in a 'time warp' is at best cringeworthy but his words are like an ASSAULT to my ears and potentially quite embarrassing for many, I'm sure. Perhaps the majority Indians revere such a broadcaster, who knows?
One of the most Fabulous outright straight from heart Interview I have ever watched! Hats off to you Neena Gupta for voicing out Truth and being very Honest. The way Masaba carries herself and her language reflects a lot on Two most Beautiful people who have Breathed life into her . Wishing young Masaba all the very Best in all her endeavors ! Pouring Enormous love to you and your Beautiful mother . Hats off to the most wonderful husband of Neena Gupta who loves both these Beautiful women as Candid as they are. God Bless
True, West Indies is a relaxed community. I'm Indian born in Suriname (one of the West Indies countries) Come once to enjoy the ambiance and meet Indians from UP and Bihar.
I really loved the interview . Whatever the fact both disclosed in openly . everyone have right to take their own decisions . This is truly incredible .
I am listening 🎧 to Neena Gupta she speaks so well and giving logical answer to every question that was asked to her in a very strong and proud way and so as Masaba. Good to hear her for the first time luckily. Searched her After "MASABA MASABA" on Netflix.
What a lady Neena Gupta is and what an amazing confident daughter!! These women are much much better than the likes of Jaya Bachchan keeping a facade of happy family with no issues.
I am amazed at the comments given for Mr Rajdeep?? Yes he's full of question he's not giving enough space for answers - the two ladies are precise and to the point
I am a movie buff. I liked Nina as an actor. People dislike Nina for her relationship with Viv. Mashaba impressed me. Thanks Rajdeep for a good interview.
Neena Ji, we love you so much and we respect you for your personal life decisions. Hats off to your upbringing of your daughter. We want to see you more in movies. Wishing you all the best in your life.
I have immense respect for you Ninaji... you are a person with a real metal...hats off to you...and you Ms. Masaba... absolute respect and regard to you..God bless you both..Ninaji you have always been my favourite person...
When such a powerful man attracted to a lady and loved her that proved she is also powerful.Masaba is double stronger.Nina ji is an example of true love, grace, honesty and humanity .That should be the culture of any civilized human being.🙏🙏♥️♥️
The interesting thing is that the subject is comfortably discussed now. Lovely to see both the ladies so happy n so sorted ,great admiration for them . Mr. Sardesai is using his experience and skills in getting the ladies to talk out their mind and heart.☺
Proud of Neena. She had the strength to go ahead and bring a baby to life and never opted for an abortion. She took a step in life and made herself fully accountable till the end. And no child is ever “illegitimate”. Masaba is so intelligent. Too bad she lost on work due to repressed minded people.
Masaba ..love you for turning out to be such a wonderful woman after all what you had gone through..and kudos to neena gupta..always loved her for her acting capabilities and being such a strong woman..well said Neena gupta...'What's our Culture' so true....hate my hypocrite culture...and rajdeep you are the horrible...you are trying all possible ways to make neena & masaba feel small or humiliated....please have some standard Mr Rajdeep
He represents our society. May be, he has a sarcastic undertone that how brutal our society is? These questions were thrown at both ladies on a regular basis by oueme society. I don't know why, but felt like he is exposing our society rather than insulting the ladies.
Your just amazing whatever u choose to do ...it's take guts..very brave women ur..doing mistakes n moving on is easy way but accepting ur mistake n moving forward with it only brave person can do.
Great to see both these ladies share a slice of their life. I wish Rajdeep is not this loud and let's people speak. Its not just about hearing his voice. Its about what these wonderful ladies have to say. My respect to Neena Gupta and Masaba!
Proud of these two gorgeous women.... Neena for being a rebel back in the day and face the world just by her very own and take the consequences at face value... AND Masaba for boldly facing all the bullying and leg pulling during her teen years while growing up into this beautiful woman that she is now... Humble yet Confident.... Successful yet Honest!!!
This Rajdeep is soooooo negative..everytime Neena or Masaba are talking about something positive..he will make another negative comment... Rajdeep: "Today's directors are bad" Neena: no they are good Rajdeep: No one helped you when you has Masab. Society is bad Neena: no people were nice also Masaba: Satish Kaushik was so nice..he is dusky and I am dusky...so he offered to marry Mom so that I could get admission in school Rajdeep: speaking of dusky...our society is so racist I mean stopppppppp...negative journalism! When was the last time you heard something positive in the news.
Neena ji is an epitome of strength. I respect Neenaji's decision to give birth to Masaba rather than terminating her pregnancy. She was never petrified of the society.
His interviewing skills are extremely bad. Some of the questions and the way of asking such sensitive questions were quite offensive. I have always loved Masaba and Neena. Way to go girls. Want to hear more from them about their achievements.:)
Seriously! He complaints that Neena Ji is typecasted and defined by her one episode with Viv Richards and then goes on to start the conversation with the same topic. He himself complaints that people don't talk about her other achievements and doesn't do that himself for the longest time. Total waste of time of such amazing, dignified women. Love u both Neena Ji and Masaba.
Admire the way the two elegant ladies conducted themselves. Interviewers should take a cue from this and inculcate good manners rather than intrude on people's personal lives.
She is living her life if she is happy we have no problem not should be why some people think above others do strange things do other women are less from her leave on her mercy God bless her
This Rajdeep Sardesai, so-called senior journalist is such a pain! Not even letting them answer! He’s just coming up with his own stupid assumptions and cutting them in between! Kudos to these beautiful ladies for being so patient and answering each question with grace and dignity!
Akshay Singh he must have already talked about them about the subject. They are only talking about it which clearly shows that the subject was known by the guests. He is deliberately asking the questions that the society asks.
Yes, Sardesai have used names for these struggling ladies while asking questions. What a hypocrite journalist. Both mother and daughter showed dignity in their communication
He represents our society. May be, he has a sarcastic undertone that how brutal our society is? I don't know why, but felt like he is exposing our society rather than insulting the ladies.
Recently Maine dard serial dekha this lady neena can show every shade in acting very very wonderful actresses beautiful graceful she is banch of lots of qualities and a good morher perfect women
Neena Gupta a brave, beautiful, humble, honest and talented actress and her daughter is also very intelligent and bright daughter who understood her mother and having such a strong bond.
Neelam Gupta you did good job raising beautiful girl and gave the culture the one you believe and if you are happy and in peace it was worth all the pain you went. Open relationship is only for men who are not emotional but women are emotional and still we are 100 years back still comes to children concern. Good luck

I must say - I rarely comment on interviews. I was so moved by both the Gupta ladies. How beautiful and brave.
Brave woman, we need more of her kind. Hats off to the duo.
Both re so lovely and I m never tired of watching their interviews .
