We had a chance to work with Ben just few weeks ago to look at houses in Melbourne. Florida. We highly recommended Ben. If you need to buy a house or just to check out Melbourne. Definitely contact him
Thank you sooo much!!! That is so nice of you to say. It was my pleasure working with you guys. See you soon.
Thank you, we will!
Thanks so much for all your videos. I watched them before I moved to Melbourne (about 8 months ago) and now I’m rewatching and love that I now recognize everything and you gave such great tips. Thanks again!
Great local insight, thank you for putting the cons, not just the pros. The Pros outweigh the cons for sure. Thank you for sharing this, really helpful.
Thank you Ade. I totally agree. The cons are important. Melbourne Florida isn't for everyone, so it's important to be aware of these things. But the pros absolutely outweigh the cons!!! Thanks for watching!
Thank you! your video included lots of information. I didn't expect the info on the schools. That was a nice bonus! Good to know Melbourne is more laid back.
Hi Droid Janet, thank you for your comment. I’m glad you liked the little bonus with the schools. Thanks for watching and feel free to reach out if you ever wanna move to the area.
show more places around Melbourne please like Ballard Park and The King Center area West Melbourne and Palm Bay area
Hi Becky, thank you for watching. If you want to see more places around Melbourne, check out this video: ruclips.net/video/_vlqbLCkM-o/видео.html That’s the top 40 things to do (incl. West Melbourne). I believe my “Explore Melbourne” video has Ballard Park in it as well. For Palm Bay, I have a separate “Melbourne vs Palm Bay” video. So just visit my channel page. Thanks again for watching.
I just ready to meet you next month!!! I’m going to share this video with the rest of my family!! Thanks so much 😊
I'm really looking forward to meet you next months!!! It'll be great to show you around Melbourne Florida. Thank you so much for sharing the video with your family. I hope they'll like it. See you next month :)
Ahh you had me at beach but 1hr away from the Disney/Universal area is good too.
Yes, having the beach and the theme parks is a great combo. Thank you for watching.
Hi Ben, love the videos keep up the good work! Would you consider making an affordable Melbourne, Fl apartment/condo rental video? Myself and co-workers who have moved to this area for employment opportunities are finding it very difficult to find any 1bed/1bath apartments around the $1,000/month price point.
Thank you very much you did a great job and yes I am thinking of moving their
Always love to know the pros and cons of an area - love the parks! Thanks, Benjamin!
Thank you Lisa. Yes, the pros and cons are always interesting even though I think the pros definitely outweigh the cons here. Thank you for watching!
Hi, Ben, I want to be live in "MelbourneBeach" the clean-air, & water put being amateur-surfer, the tasty waves!
Hi David, glad to hear you want to live Melbourne Beach. Feel free to text me if you have any questions. I’ll be happy to help. My number is (321) 831-8400.
...while you're floating on your pool mattress. LOL! I'm sold - Nice video, Ben.:)
😄 Thank you! ☀️🌴🏖
It took me 20 minutes to clean the snow just off my car two days ago...I think a little sweating will be fine...I spent a summer in Florida...
My thoughts exactly 😄 It’s better to be too warm than too cold in my opinion.
How is the healthcare in Melbourne and also what can you tell us about senior living communities there?
Hi Daniel, thank you for reaching out.
Healthcare is good with a cost index of 96.8%. Personally I prefer Health First. Overall, cancer and respiratory illness risks are both much lower than Florida and U.S. average. Water and air quality are both much higher than the U.S. average.
As for senior living communities, I'd recommend Heritage Isle in Viera, which is a great 55+ community, currently starting at $221K. I have a quick video walkthrough of that community here: ruclips.net/video/qkDUuVz61AU/видео.html
Feel free to call/text me if you have any further questions: (321) 831-8400.
@@melbournefloridaliving Thank you. I'll get down to Melbourne hopefully in a few months sometime after the COVID problems are over.
Send me a text when you get closer to coming down to Melbourne, so we can meet up. My cell phone number is (321) 831-8400
That’s a great video about the pros and cons of Melbourne Florida!
Thank you 😊
Very informative and I’m currently looking

I never met Ben I just found him on youtube today a I'm looking to move to Melbourne from new York and he seems knowledgeable, im most likely going to hire him
Thank you. I'm glad you liked my videos and I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
Florida sucks don’t come. Gators will eat you, sharks, snakes it’s scary. Crazy Florida man everywhere. You gonna die so just stay in NY you’ll be safer there.
Hehehe i had to stop the video at 2:45. No one should ever say the name of a city and the state it’s in SO MANY TIMES in less than 3 minutes. A simple “Melbourne” would have been more than enough after the second or third “Melbourne Florida”
😂
Melbourne is one of the best place in America to be especially bc of the of the fact that its a tropical and it's quite close to equator. Eua Galle is one of the best high schools in Brevard County bc it has a lot of ppl who're r good at doing what they, such as: football, orchestra, etc. Melbourne is a great place to live especially if u don't like the snow
Thank you for your comment. I agree, Melbourne is one of the best places in the US! Thanks for watching.
And I thank u for having that video bc I learned more about where I live than I already knew
Thanks for the great advice. Love the pros and cons.
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching.
Thanks so much for this video! Sounds perfect!
Thank you for watching 👍
Thanks Ben appreciate the video
Thank you Seven. I’m glad you liked it.
Sounds pretty good overall. The pros definitely outweigh the cons. Thanks for the video.
Yes I completely agree! The pros outweigh the cons. Thank you for watching!
My son and future daughter in law live in West Melbourne. I hope to move there in five years when I retire, beautiful area. Lots of things to do and see.
West Melbourne is a great area with lots of beautiful new constructions. Hope to see you here in 5 years. Thanks for watching.
Not much to do, but I can see it as a retirement place
Also looking to retire in five years and move there 😎. Your videos are great! 😍👍🏼👍🏼
Good review! Thank you.
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback.
I will be in Melbourne Florida the first two weeks in June. Melbourne seems perfect for me . I may call you just to get a lay of the land . I am retiring from Richmond Virginia in 24 months and I wanted to check out Melbourne.
Hi Barry, thanks for watching. You can call or better yet send me a text because then I can send you some of my Melbourne eBooks with a lot of helpful information for your visit. Text me at (321) 831-8400.
Having lived all over the world and states - my impression was it’s a quiet town with good restaurants but best if all the beach is lovely especially for walks in the morning or afternoons. It’s not a posh area full of tourist.
I love to Gardening if possible you can tell me where place in Melbourne Fla.
While there are places in Melbourne, I would go to Rockledge Gardens. It’s just a few minutes north of Melbourne. I personally like that one a lot.
By the way there's a little peer behind the public library which is all the wood you see behind him and beyond that a couple hundred yards away is the Eau Gallie Causeway that goes to A1A from US1 which historically speaking used to pass Dragon point but to get there you would have to go across a drawbridge which is also historical and down a very beautiful road that has speed bumps and is for beautiful views and lots of money but anyways I digress.lol
Do you deal with mobile homes
OMG... you are so sweet! Thanks for the great video! 👍🏻❤️
Thank you 😊 That’s so nice of you to say. I’m glad you liked the video.
Erna Nixon Park sounds really neat to visit!
Glad you liked it
Great Video !! Gorgeous area 🏖🏖🏖
Thank you soo much! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Yes, Melbourne Florida is a GORGEOUS area with so much to do and the beautiful nature. Thanks for watching!
Where is the safest/best area to move to in Melbourne/Melbourne Beach area?
As a Realtor I’m prohibited from steering but here is a map with crime ratings for the different areas of Melbourne: www.neighborhoodscout.com/fl/melbourne/crime I hope that helps. Feel free to text/call me if you have any questions: (321) 831-8400
@@melbournefloridaliving I understand, thank you!
Hi Ben, which area Is the best to live in family?
That’s always subjective but I live in Viera and there are tons of families in this area.
@@melbournefloridaliving Thanks for your answer, please one question more. Are any school for latin people? I don’t know if the schools there can teach in Spanish and then in English, you know for kids who don’t know the language yet.
Thank you so much. Could you or someone can let me know "how Tampa compared to Melbourne, FL"?
Thank you for watching my channel. I know this is going to sound biased, given that I’m a realtor here in the Melbourne area but when I went to Tampa to help one of my family members find a home, I didn’t like very much. My experience was loud, too much traffic and overall gave me a headache. They do have a much larger downtown area in Tampa, so if that’s something you’re looking for then it may be worth checking out. They do have some very impressive luxury real estate, especially along the bay but they do have a hefty price tag. Overall though, I find that the Space Coast combines the best of everything. I did make a video comparing the Space Coast to Orlando which is somewhat comparable to Tampa. Maybe you want to check that out.

Hi. I will be there from March 27-31 looking for houses. How do I get in touch with you please?
Thank you
Hi. The best way is to send me a text message. My cell phone number is 321.831.8400. I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi Ben, I need a realtor and plan on relocating to Sebastian/ Melbourne area no later than April ,1.
Yes, pre- qualed. 165-185
Hi Ziggys Mom, I can help you with Melbourne and Palm Bay (Sebastian is out of my county). Why don't you send me a text to 321.831.8400 and tell me a little more about your situation and what you're looking for.
I’ve lived in Miami for most of my life. And at this point none of the cons bother me. 😅 might go up north soon.
Glad to hear that. Thanks for watching and see you up here soon.
Are there any places to hunt near Melbourne??
I only go to the range not to hunt, so I’m not the best source for that. Sorry. With that being said, I’d look into Mims and Palm Bay for hunting. And of course there are plenty of swamps west of Melbourne. Again, I only shoot at paper not animals, so it’s hard for me to say.
Hello I have a question about road safety.
Ah
OK what’s your question?
I purchased a lot so far.
Text me at (321) 831-8400
Stop promoting 321. Move to Miami or Orlando.
I actually made a video comparing 321 (the Space Coast) to Orlando and the Space Coast is way better:
m.ruclips.net/video/m_BvcK5Kr0g/видео.html
I lived in Orlando and I hated it, so I’m definitely not moving back.

buenos días, puedes decirme el promedio de un arriendo de apartamento de 2 habitaciones, gracias
Lo siento, no hablo español
What is the average rental value of an apartment for 2 adults and two children?
Overall in Melbourne over the past 6 months, the average rental price was $1,635/mo. and the median $1,500/mo. For a 3 bedroom rental it was an average of $1,823 and a median of $1,700.
What a beautiful place 👍
It really is. Thanks for watching!
I would like to add that the people who live on the island think of themselves as better than those that live on the mainland... and we're right! Beachside is the way to go, it's a much smaller and closer community than on the mainland.
I went to both private and public schools in Melbourne. Send your kids to private school, there's no comparison.
Thanks for the comment. I appreciate your input.
Him: So these are the cons...
Me living in the worst location in the U.S.A already: Those sound pretty good.
Him: Con: Everything is so flat
Me: *Lets hope the roads are flat too.*
Hi i would Like to have info to buy a business there, for example ; pet store, cofre store. Can you provide these information or contact names?
Hi Ximena, thank you for watching my channel. Unfortunately I only work in residential real estate. What you want to look for is a commercial real estate agent. Thanks again.
Hi Ben! Just found your channel! We are planning to move to Melbourne sometime end December or January! Definitely saving your number to contact you!!
That's great! I'm looking forward to hearing from you when you're ready to move here. Let me know if you have any questions and have a great day.
How would you say the weather is during mid December to mid March? Thinking of coming down for a travel job! Is it warm enough to swim?
Overall the weather is really nice during the winter months. There is usually a couple of weeks around January when it get’s cooler to where we have to wear a jacket but that’s usually a short period of time. While ever year can be different, I know that we still used the pool for Christmas and went to the water parks in February. So I’d say with the exception of January it should be warm enough to swim in a pool. The ocean on the other hand is too cold for my taste during the winter. Hope that helps.
Where is this again ?!
Melbourne Florida
Melbourne, Australia. Don’t come to Florida he got confused. Florida sucks anyways it’s really overrated.

Gators don't like to be coddled! LOL👍🏼😂🤣
I wish they did 😩😂
Very good video about the pros and cons. I have family in Florida and when I go to visit I cannot stand the weather. The humidity and dew point are brutal, especially from March till December. And, I do like hilly terrain better. Having said that, next time I go to Florida I might just go to Melbourne to check it out. I've heard it is beautiful.
Thank you for the comment. I think the worst months are June/July weather wise.
Try Texas I think it’s worse here
@@elizabethwilk9615 - I have only been to DFW and Houston International airports. I take your word for i. Greetings.
@Elizabeth Wilk try a river town in central pa 80 degree nights 98 at 7 100% humidity because it's been raining for 30 hours

Avoid everything that you know experience everything local we know how to live the way that we live I promise you will not be disappointed buy parking your car in a parking lot full of Florida tags check out the local places does it matter how it looks even if it looks Rundown check it out
Great video! When looking for jobs try to avoid L3Harris. They have the worst culture I have ever seen in my career.
I'm sorry you had such a bad experience working with them. I hope you found a better position now. Thanks for watching!
How long did you work for them and in what capacity?
I'm only 20 seconds and I'm not going to promise you don't have to talk this way this is a Melting Pot of amazing people so much to do on the edge of fresh and saltwater depending on your spirit this is a fisherman's\Hunter's dream as long as you like hunting small game
Swimming lakes with the alligators to swim with you or eat you. 😂. Alligators are in all bodies of freshwater which means that they are in the lakes not just the swamps and ponds.
I hate how flat it is in Florida.
Water parks are the best!
Obviously there is more to say about Melbourne Florida but who want’s to watch a 60 minute video, right?
Flat is good, flat makes your car last longer.
That’s true 😄 I guess that’s a better way of looking at it. Thanks for the comment.
Biggest con people can’t drive 😂😂 I’ve been hit 3 times in 20 months 😂
As someone who lives in the Midwest, to hear this guy say he swims with gators is jaw dropping.
They’re actually quite cute 😁 But seriously, people always get so scared because of the gators. First of all you need to actually go to specific places to see (or swim with them for that matter). Second, in my experience, as long as you leave them alone, they’ll leave you alone. Just go to Wekiva Island, grab a whiskey and enjoy a good swim or canoeing with some gators Florida style 😎
The Australian Melbourne is better
Let's say it's different. Obviously the Australian Melbourne is a metropolis whereas Melbourne Florida is more of a smaller beachside city.
no
@@V0YAG3R hahaha
Agreed!
Stop showing your face talking to the camera. I'm from Melbourne and wanted to be nostalgic and see my hometown but instead all I saw was your face and teeth 😑
Thanks for the input. I was thinking about a new video just touring the Melbourne Area.
