Would it be possible to switch out the keycaps with much thicker ones? Like ones that are on ur typical mechanical keyboard. The keyboard seems really nice but I don’t like how thin the keycaps look.
@@MoonRiderTech thanks for the info! Do you know if that timer is adjustable? And also, can you wake it up by turning the knob itself? I’ve seen keyboard where you have to press other keys on the board to wake up the knob. Thanks!
@@twinstars8812 As far as I can tell the N80 doesnt offer that level of customization like others do so it seems the sleep timer is set to 10 minutes (I just tested it). However you can wake it by pressing the knob control.

Why tf they do not have a software for mac when they provide mac mode on their devices? RK has been around for a long time and they should've developed a mac version of their software by now!

N80 low profile is not a switch hot-swappable model. Don't buy this keyboard if you plan to replace switches! I have an official answer from Royal Kludge support. Big disappointment!
@@charlescabbage2933 I asked the same question, here is the answer from support: "As for N80, I can confirm it's not switch hot-swappable. You can only replace its switches with 4 spare ones to fix some small glitches on the switches."
Now that I have it its actually not that bad, although i would like to change the brown keys to something that matches the grey keys. It has that retro-esque colour scheme.

hi if i’m playing on x box and wanna change the gifs do i have to download the software on my phone since i cant on x box?
@@colorfulasmr8426 the software is only available for Mac or Windows, not iOS or Android so you’d need to do it on a computer.
Anyone know if the knob is on it's own sleep timer? If so, is there anyway to change the time before it goes to sleep when in wireless mode?
It does not; goes to sleep same time as the rest of the backlighting.

The switches aren’t hot swappable, only replaceable with the 4 extra switches.
I'm a noob. Can you recommend an affordable low profile keyboard which is very silent.

Ordinary people don’t know difference between swappable and hot-swappable. You can swap keys when unplugged.
