Thanks for this - I guess they were "too controversial" or something but Jelly Bath Bombs just don't seem to exist anymore and my Partner loved them. Guess I'll have to try my hand at making them for the upcoming birthday.
You can acctually make a jelly bomb by adding shower gel\body wash from bath and body works aand then add to a normal bath bombs recipe (add to the liquid mixture 1-2 tbsp) and tada! Jelly bomb!
Wish I'd listened when you said "Food colouring Gel" - idiot me bought regular old liquid food colouring which of course immediately reacted with the Sodium Alginate. Luckily i've got enough for way more batches and some non-reactive food colouring on the way
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I'm going to try this. I really am hater of the lush ones due to the 'clumps' in the bath, but yours might actually be nice. Just ordered the sodium alginate! My daughter LOVES them so I can possibly compromise (I'm the one who ends up cleaning up after a jelly bath, LOL).
That's actually a great idea! I tried it with milk, but didn't do much. Then again, of course, milk does have calcium, but not a huuuge amount like maybe some calcium supplements! I would love if someone tries this and let's us know how it went
이유진 Unfortunately no! 😞 The baking soda-citric acid mixture reacts to water, that's why we get the fizzing when we drop it into our bathtubs. To create the actual bathbomb it has to be oil, so it doesn't react!

Let me know how it goes 😁
These are so cool 🤗
So, I tried to recreate Lush's new bath bomb: the Jelly Bomb! Are you #TeamLove or #TeamHate? 😂
Oh I love these! 😍
+MoreThanNailVarnish Me tooo 😍
I wonder what would happen if u add SLSA
you can add calcium to the bath bomb if your water does not have enough calcium in it

Thanks! I want to try these. What happens if your water is harder?
That would make a better jelly layer, since the calcium in your water will react with the sodium alginate :)
Lily Rose Thx!
0:35 ... Why on earth would you pee for shipping? Makes no sense. 🤷♂️😂😂😂 I'm totally kidding. Love your accent. 💙
Can i use water instead of oil?

How do I edit your videos
Meant u
I use Final Cut Pro, since I find it quite intuitive and easy, but also has some more professional elements to it 😃
Is that you???. The lady in the video, when you say "I'm no scientist"...& then a woman's face appears with equations floating around her head?. lol
No 😂 That's a famous meme!
0:47 is photoshopped
Actually it's a filter to imitate Andy Warhol's paintings, it's exactly the same footage, so I think it's quite obvious 🤷♀️
