In Clip 8, there is some information from the lady. She, even though using the shawl, she has her arms folded, standing in an authoritative pose, head cocked forward, and eyes fixed, and I bet that she is standing broad, with feet either at or wider than shoulder width apart. This was pretty much the same pose that I saw from my drill instructors in the Army. She stands this way, if needed, to bark out commands, or give eye glares. This also a mom's pose.
I really think so as well. He looks at the girl first and is also looking to the left toward her without turning his head. He seems pretty anxious as well.
Hello! I'm a huge fan of these body language exercises / micro facial expressions, very happy to find your channel. Are there any chance to upload more these kind of videos? All the best!
In clip 8, the older couple definitely thought that the interviewer were making a sexual related question at first, hence the look of superiority. When they realize it's not, then comes the surprise, and them both laughing, the man's sly look at his wife and the the wife looking subtly at the camera. Agreeing with anothers comment who mentions the wife's guarded power pose, it's clear who rules the relationship outside of the bedroom here between these two.
for the leader role conversation, they were both showing signs of happines but what gave it away was the girls brief sadness lip press and the look away moment
This is neat. In Clip 2, I also noticed the woman looked away a few times when the beach holiday was mentioned like, "Meh, I'm bored with this option, let's hear another option." She did not look away at all when the active holiday was mentioned. The big boyfriend guy did the same look down when his relationship was mentioned. Would this be considered a "negative" microreaction?
I have been studying body language and micro expressions since my adolescence and I can tell you that the clip number 4 his more nuanced than that. Yes he have happy feet but he have them since the beginning of the video...so we can't take this this for a sign because this is his baseline. When the interviewer say "one quite happy to follow", the guy look down and the girl show a little bit of anger at the same time (from this angle of camera) maybe it's sadness but she is too at the side for being sure of that. Also you must take into account his posture, hands in front of his part...maybe this is a standard position for him or maybe he feel uncomfortable. We need to hear it from them, who is the real leader in this relationship.
There are a few components to how to play poker. One place I found which successfully combines these is the card crusher fixer (check it out on google) definately the most helpful resource i've heard of. look at all the interesting information .
I think at 5:58 you can also see the guy's jaw slightly jut forward at the mention of spicy food, signaling very slight anger, you can also see him swallow, which may be a reflex thinking of spicy food?
You should show the answers, clip 4 had some mixed answers based on actual body language. He wasnt dancing, he was leaning towards her and even faces her to engage her. He almost turns away as if to say "they dont need me"
nice thanks!, but of course the scenario changes from people being actually willing to find out what they like the most, vs the scenario of people actually trying to hide their reall thoughts... of course i get this one is for beginners and i learnt a lot thanks
Missing a very obvious tell that the first couple prefer active holidays. Their clothing. He’s wearing a camo hoodie & she’s wearing a sports top from Decathlon =0)
I think that makes the inference stronger. There are people who wear athletic clothing who are not at all athletic. Her appearance and her micro expressions in combination make a stronger inference of which holiday she would prefer.
In your clip 8, you don't even need the question or microexpressions. The woman is in a position indicating control and evaluation of the interviewer. The man's body posture is more of an intermediary between them. He likes the interviewer, is interested in the interview and hoping the woman with him approves. Paying attention to both, though he's only being interviewed by the interviewer. He's checking with the woman. The woman is responding for herself. No approval needed. Facing the interviewer. Ignoring both cameraman and man. She is not all that impressed by the interviewer.
Eh, I felt that they both had a very powerful/serious demeanour but I think that’s also just due to the age. Either way, his reaction and laugh showed me immediately that she held the power aswell as his little glance lol. But after watching the clip and going back, she definitely has more overt confident body language. They both seem rather confident people though.
@@phoenixbae3310 Agreed, her gaze also shifts a few times away from the interviewer during that part of the question - one obvious sign someone is not giving their full attention because they're not interested
what’s funny to me is that I’m not fast yet at recognizing microexpressions but I am pretty adept at making evaluations about people based on their face, clothing, body shape and stance. I could have told you without the conversation that the first woman would enjoy an active holiday much more than a beach one. However, microexpressions are way less vague, but you have to be fast.
About example 4 it seemed to me like the big guy thought he was the leader of the couple, while the girl knew she was but that was lovely he thought so. Isn't that realistic or am I just seeing wrong? Thanks in advance if you answer.
The guy was and the if you watch the girl close. She does show some sadness and then her lips form a line in anger. And also, she doesn't like meat, well it looked like disgust, but could be her feelings toward the student. He should have covered her reaction as well...
Could anybody help me with the facial expressions of the difficult ones?. For example, in Clip 1 I'd like to read the facial micro expressions of the guy in the left side of the screen.
Could you tell me what you're supposed to do with body language. I mean I can kinda read it, but it's still pretty useless for me, it is like knowing how to recognize a broken car, without learning how to fix it.
at the end the taller guy is the leader and the smaller one is like second in command, cause he looks at his friend and his friend seems to be more relaxed and natural while he is more tense. the girl on the right seems to show a bit of negative emotions i think, lips are pressed together, maybe sadness, contempt, anger.the guy on her right barely moves so i guess he is rather low ranking, cause he really tries to be still so he doesnt get noticed. just my two cents so i could be totally wrong.
10:34 im not an expert but the lady crossing her arms indicates she is not really in the mood to answer her she let him do the work which means he is the dominant one
In Clip 4 i think the Guy is the boss on Significante decisions on Relationship but the Woman do Some Decisions and i think thats the reason he look at her between the question.
Clip 4: I thought that he was acting more kind of playful, bashful about the girl being a dominant in the relationship that was my gut feeling
That was my read on him too.
@@ginagrittani5231 Same. lol
yeah me too, I was so sure
me too haha
Me too mate!

(I know I'm late) The male also has his hands in his pockets, which is a sign of insecurity and anxiety.
Malik Abdullah she's blocking too
@@redfiree5062 are u kidding me lol
@@georgouspeach yeah but the woman is giving the dominant body language vibes
i would like to know if the big guy had confirmed, that he is the leader....because i´m pretty sure, that the girl is the BOSS :))
KatkaJessie i know right?
Totally agree.
Same thought
Yeah the way she was blushing and the way they looked at each other gave it away I'd say she's the leader
Nope, I think she is an independent woman comfortable in her relationship. Definitely their body language shows they have a healthy relationship!
I thought the girl was the boss in clip 4
me too

Agree
yeah ur right, wtf is the dude unto
mabe she just makes him feel like a leader

Can you do more of these excersizes in the streets? This is really entertaining.
I really started to learn after watching ur vedios sir... Thank u
Great videos for navigating the human experience. This will help a lot of people living with aspergers or autism.
Indeed it really is helping me tremendously

what would he have to do bastard?
In Clip 2, the woman tilted her head when the student was talking about the beach. This means distrust or unbelief.
That old lady look like my grandma lol.
In clip 4 I'm getting the signals that the guy is attracted to your student
Eddie Bruce me kind of as well lol

In the Clip 2 it's an active holiday for the woman. But from the body language of the man I would say he would prefer the other one. Am I right?
Pat Gedeon the woman also touches her face when the student mentions cafe. I think that means she doesn't like coffee?
I think for the woman it was more disinterest. It was an "I'm not interested in this part what's the other part".

Could anybody help me with the facial expressions of the difficult ones?. For example, in Clip 1 I'd like to read the facial micro expressions of the guy in the left side of the screen.
By looking at her, we can conclude she is athletic with no effects of sun on her face. She will go hiking or better active sport.

Could you tell me what you're supposed to do with body language. I mean I can kinda read it, but it's still pretty useless for me, it is like knowing how to recognize a broken car, without learning how to fix it.
to learn to fix a broken car, you need to follow a course and practice. it's the same with body language ;)
It's very handy for lie-detection
When in clusters yeah
It's very frustrating that you are cutting off the clips before the people actually provide the answer...
What do you mean by "we dont have much information" on the lady?
at the end the taller guy is the leader and the smaller one is like second in command, cause he looks at his friend and his friend seems to be more relaxed and natural while he is more tense. the girl on the right seems to show a bit of negative emotions i think, lips are pressed together, maybe sadness, contempt, anger.the guy on her right barely moves so i guess he is rather low ranking, cause he really tries to be still so he doesnt get noticed. just my two cents so i could be totally wrong.
In clip 4 the girl is quite disgusted by the way probably because of jealousy.
I guessed most of them wrong😔

She looks disgusted when the topic was dominantation the relationship. ~ 8.13 or sth like that
