I am in Florida and i assisted a family friend with all her marriage based paperwork so i submitted all 6 forms together including her medical she paid $1760 for I-130 & I485 seperate checks. Submitted all via Fedex Saturday April 22 and it was received April 24. May 6 i received receipts of all applications for her, also an EAD letter for her to use during the process and a biometric appt for today May 25. They are fast.

Have you received your work permit? How long did it take to get your work permit after your biometric ?

I got approved for my work permit (EAD) one hour after my biometrics and then took just over a week to get in the mail

I signed with my full name before marriage ! I didn’t yet change my name as I know that would possibly delay everything as I would also have to get a new passport

Thank you for providing the information. I just misplaced my Drivers license (my only address proof in the USA) but I have a passport. Do I need to get it replaced before my interview or does passport suffice. Thanks!!

I filled in Pensilvania. I got my appointment date set on Feb 11th for biometrics, my EAD card started being produced the same day.
