I think it’s more a case of great players having a bad game. The manager really isn’t that much at fault for every loss. He can set up the tactics (Nagelsmann probably have for this game too), but he can’t play them out.
The same goes for Ole at United. Yeah, he might not be up for the task all in all, but most often the players just don’t show up or make too fatal individual mistakes.

Well, it's not true in this case tho. Nagelsmann is a fantastic coach tbh. His Bayern has stomped every team up until now, and that too with pure dominance in every phase. This could you say is one of those 'off' days. Also keep in mind that Adi Hütter was the coach when Frankfurt beat Bayern 5-1, now he's the coach for Monchengladbach too.

@@nishithnair well sure there will be off days and adi hutter's Frankfurt did beat them before, but this bayern is a different beast... they have are a relentless team that keeps working and running and pressing, which along with their amazing attack sets them up for huge wins...
But this match was something else entirely... you could see that the players seemed confused, they were running after the ball but not with a proper shape which led to monchangladbach(don't mind the spelling) cutting them apart... you could clearly see in the 5th goal that bayern just let borussia take the ball when they could've easily taken control, no one even went in for the ball

Even as a Gladbach supporter I hadn’t thought that this would happen because how the seasons have went so differently for both teams so far. This was an outstanding achievement and especially the second goal was pure art.

Bayern played without their Manager because he has covid, he was on his house while gladbach had its coach, they played in the borussia park, (they have never defeated gladback there for so many years ) in front of 50.000 m'g supporters and they were very tired also because its not easy to score more than 3 golas every game , congrats to gladbach , but bayern was really unlucky, they didn't even believed in their selves , the penalty you got was very soft and neuer , an other day , could have saved at least 3 out of these 5 goals, the only bad thing for bayern is that now they cant treble, have a good day.
