Non-destructive testing NDT: Term briefly explained

The term non-destructive testing (NDT) covers all testing methods that can be used to examine materials, components or entire parts - without damaging or even destroying them. The methods of choice are industrial computer tomography or optical metrology. Both methods provide a view into the interior of the components and are an important element in quality assurance.
