Wish I had your creative visions. When I look at my trash all I see is well trash. You look at trash and see the wonders of the universe.....lol. As always great work and I will see you next year :)
Great build and video! Thank you! Guy sent me by the way, love the support between all you hobby RUclipsrs, awesome to see 😁 liked and subbed, keep up the great work 👍🏻
You can actually use the little scraps for basing minis and making scatter terrain rubble patches and ruined buildings. I save that stuff in an old ice cream bucket.
Edward Cote i have a (small) bucket with scraps as well, but only nice pieces. I use foamboard on a regular basis and if i were to keep all scraps i’d have a huge pile by now 😂 Thank’s for watching !
" guess what club I joined!" LMAO that was classic!! I SUBBED! Well, I would have anyway but still that was pretty damn funny! THANKS Love Your Work, Heck you might teach me something too! LOL, You already have! THANKS!!
The best part of this build is that you made two. Looks freakin' amazing. And yeah, F*** Games Workshop. Their stuff is over priced considering how easy it is to make substitutes for some of their stuff.
Found you via RUclips recommended see you're a fellow member of the wargaming unification Facebook group liking the content so subscribed keep up the good work
Cynthia Miller Very cool ! Since i never heard of the game, i immediately did some research and there was your name. Looks like a really fun game. I’m always on the lookout for fun games, buying the rulebook soon. Thank’s for watching !
nice video, may I say though, the music was very jarring being turned up and down constantly, especially in between words. If you kept the music lower and only turned it up a little bit during more "montage" shots, I think it would sound a lot better. regardless, I have subbed and am excited to see more videos, good job
Agreed, there was a problem with the ducking of the music track that i didn’t catch before uploading 🙄 Steps have been taken to prevent this in the future ! Thank’s for watching and welcome to the workshop !
Recommendation for your edits, that you've probably fixed in new videos, but the background audio levels dont match perfectly with your speaking, may be better to leave at a constant and low volume throughout the video, unless you have a dedicated longer timelapse section type thing, then you only need to control the volume for specific instances
Hi, Gert. I have the same kids' straws that you used in this build for your small pipes. I find that when I paint the rubber coupling joints of these straws, it remains tacky and doesn't really dry for a LONG time. Do you have any solutions or tips for my dilemma? Great video of a really cool industrial piece. Cheers, --Bo
@@DarkMatterWorkshop I'm using spray paint primer. After a little research, I'm worried that it could be the accelerants in the spray paint that may work on the rubber connectors by slightly dissolving them and making them tacky. It eventually goes away, but it takes literally weeks.
I know you commented months ago, but I have to know. Where did you get those straws? I can't find them anywhere and you're right, they'd make great pipes!
They are by JR products a German company. I use them ‘cause that’s what my local shop sells 😂 they are good though and not expensive. Thanks for watching !
I bought them from an online company selling party items. Took me a while too before finding some cheap ones. Give you a tip rather than rivets I use watch and electrical repair nuts and bolts for added detail
Good tip !
Welcome to the club of spilling the outrageously priced GW paints while closing them. I just did it with the contrast paints😢
It’s inevitable, let’s move on.

Thank’s man ! I have a love/hate relationship with GW. The paintpot design feeds the hate 😉
@@DarkMatterWorkshop I feel you. I love the lore of 40k, but GW's business practices are disgusting which is why I don't give them a single penny.

0:30 Truth. My wife can never see my basement.
😏
You need to set a longer release for the sidechain on the background soundtrack
Audio issues are solved in the newer vids., i edit on an ipad in Lumafusion and audio has been problematic but not anymore 👍
Can you do a video on how you make your Sepia Wash and your Wash Mix?
No, plenty of diy wash mix vids.
Basic recipe is :
7/10 water
3/10 acrylic medium
Tiny dash of iso alcohol
Thanks for watching 😉
Are you a member of the tabletop crafters guild on Facebook? Love your work and use of items otherwise would be trashed or recycled.
