Thanks for sharing your goals! I also wanna fight my perfectionism by starting a Journal and a RUclips channel. Actually I am still planning my first video about my january Journal experience...maybe I will make it before january 2026 😂 I really like being part of your writing process and the challenges coming along with it!I am sure planning writing time will help more than setting word goals! 💪
I know what you mean about goal anxiety. Idk if it'd work for you, but I will *never* leave clothes on the floor because once a huge spider crawled out of a jacket I'd picked up from the floor WHILE I WAS WEARING IT. Never again. My goals this year are similar to yours for your first novel, but broken down to: Finish draft 3 (hopefully the draft that will be ready for other people to read), send to others, maybe query. My reading goal is to read one book a month (because I don't like how focused I get on numbers and finishing books just to see my total count go up).
Love that habit tracker stamp, I may have to look for something like that! My goals: Self Publish my 3rd book, get my new office space set up, make my health a priority.
@@TheKoffeeVerse I’ve been enjoying the stamp! It’s easier than drawing out my own design 😅 Those are great goals!! Publishing another book and a new office space complement each other well. Best of luck with your health journey too!!

My goal is also to get a novel into its finished form in 2025! But I'm definitely going to have to add keeping my bedroom floor clean too 😂
@@margot_c_writes Amazing!! We can do it! ✨🙂 A clean bedroom floor has been surprisingly helpful to me so far 😅
May I add this to a 2025 goals collaboration playlist I'm part of? ruclips.net/p/PLnSiposFlv-hqQ8Ak1rgwpAIT8TqyKt67&si=JOvtqEiIwai2rG7y
@@EmmaBennetAuthor Yes you may! what a great playlist! I look forward to hearing about other writers’ goals 😊
