Klaus is one of the most complex characters - if not "the" - of tvdu, there are years of pain, torture and loneliness, he has always been treated differently, firstly because he is not mikael's legitimate son, only esther and a wolf called ansel. His own mother turned her back on him, let mikael mistreat him for a long time, locked up her son's werewolf side so mikael wouldn't find out about her indescriptions as a wife and also so klaus wouldn't kill him, and klaus, naturally a wolf, with the time would grow with a strong and aggressive temper, being transformed into a vampire everything was amplified, his hatred, anger and hurt, all multiplied. Mikael hunted him for years and years, even though elijah and rebekah were always by his side, mikael didn't go for them, only for klaus, he had almost no happiness. But he also had his sweet side, a side that delighted audiences. At first we saw this side with Caroline (tvd), then with Camile and his family (to) but mainly his daughter, Hope. Klaus is definitely the best dad in the universe of these series, and I love how he managed to get around mikael's image despite initially resembling him. Fun fact: the character of klaus first appeared in episode 19 of the second season of the vampire diares, he would die in episode 21 or 22 (something like that), making his participation short, but the actor asked to stay a little longer. In the third season he wouldn't stay for long either, but the audience liked the character and evidently his family (the originals) so much that they extended their participation and saw the need to create a spinoff telling the family story, the series "The Originals". "
For the Finale of Legacies, supposedly Klaus and Caroline are to appear. I don't know what's up with the CW; but, from what I understand, the show has been cancelled. Guess they want to go out with a BANG ! 🤔😀
