So true. My friend joined the police on a server and they gave him shifts like a job and wouldn’t let him quit the force so he just avoided getting on until they removed him off the police force. But to treat a video game like a job without payment is so stupid. Just become a cop in real life if you really want to do that type of work and be so serious about it.
One of the reasons why I just said fuck it and started my own server. I got yelled at and disciplined in a server for not doing CPR properly, I got told by a 18 year old battalion chief that: "you are a real firefighter, you should know better." I replied "I am sorry that I don't want to do my job exactly the same as I do in real life in a video game lol." I got hit with two strikes for insubrdination and failure to be realistic enough.
The problem is that PD IN GENERAL has conversations about what someone is doing wrong within their own little circles instead of with the person who did something wrong.

Recently got into watching gta rp through spaceboy and have been binging 4.0. I don’t know everyone in this video but I’ve seen croc and the only thing I’ve consistently seen from him is he is the best cop I’ve seen in RP. These other people seem ignorant and dumb tbh.

Actual investigation and police work? Have you even been watching or are you the classic CG stan that just hate all cops? Croc had 10+ reports made against him, antagonized crims and got PD wiped by Saints doing so, tried to submit a raid warrant because “a vehicle used in a crime 3 weeks ago was seen outside a house” and because “people walked in and out a house masked up”. I’m not even gonna go in more details cause it’d take me an hour to write everything, just know that even Marshall wanted him gone from PD.
I lost a lot of respect for Beric and Ruby after this. For context I literally only watch Ramee on Conan and a very small amount of crim so some stuff I say may sound misinformed. But firing someone because their attitude isn’t what you want and they don’t agree with every little thing everyone says then you dap them and fire them a few days later is just crazy. PD just wants robots instead of people who do police work and actually have character. When Pred returned to the city at the start of 4.0, 4Head was the only one who took out his hand, welcomed him back, and took him in. Angel wanted him to arrest 4Head as a sign of loyalty and throw him in jail, severing that friendship completely. When Pred was trying to leave amicably, there was no bad blood between Pred and the Besties on the departure, and arresting 4Head would destroy the deep friendship and respect that existed for both the Besties and Pred, but it was insufficient for Angel. Yet not to mention, most people in the PD and BCSO probably have friends with or hang around with people who are in gangs. I can see that on Croc, though. Angel egged Ruby on to do something about Croc. So even if Croc got an interview with Angel for the Marshals and got hired, he was on borrowed time. I agree. He probably would get fired over something so stupid. Pred was the only one who did most of the paperwork for the Marshals and the PD. He was actually getting shit done. Yet Angel fired him, and Croc would probably get fired by her if he sued the PD to regain his job. Viv may be the CoP, and Croc will again be fired due to her emotional and egotistical nature.
@@voidox What Angel might fail to realize is that most good cops that existed on 2.0 are either dead, left the island, become so corrupt that their reputation and respect with the public is nonexistent, simply become criminals, lost interest in picking up the badge again in today's PD, probably applied to be cops at the start but was outright rejected, or are a cop but are mulling on the idea of quitting due to the debilitating, and incompetent state of the PD. That said, Croc and Kyle probably did more police work than 90% of the PD and got fired. Finding a cop who does that and is not someone like Pred, Conan, or Croc is rare, if not impossible, in the PD in 4.0.

This is one reason why I don’t think after almost 3000 hours I’d ever return to GTA RP. Navigating office & corporate politics inside of a video game regarding command and circumventing their management is exhausting. Some people take this shit too seriously when they refer to “the same badge I wear is the same badge that we all wear”. It’s a community of people trying to have fun together, nothing more.

They forget it’s a roleplay server to create stories and content, not real life police department simulator. A lot of the time they take stuff too seriously and it’s like a real job at that point with too many restrictions. It’s a video game, but it seems some of these pretend officers forget they’re not actual officers

I got yelled at and disciplined in a server for not doing CPR properly, I got told by a 18 year old battalion chief that: "you are a real firefighter, you should know better." I replied "I am sorry that I don't want to do my job exactly the same as I do in real life in a video game lol." I got hit with two strikes for insubrdination and failure to be realistic enough.

When Pred returned to the city at the start of 4.0, 4Head was the only one who took out his hand, welcomed him back, and took him in. Angel wanted him to arrest 4Head as a sign of loyalty and throw him in jail, severing that friendship completely. When Pred was trying to leave amicably, there was no bad blood between Pred and the Besties on the departure, and arresting 4Head would destroy the deep friendship and respect that existed for both the Besties and Pred, but it was insufficient for Angel. Yet not to mention, most people in the PD and BCSO probably have friends with or hang around with people who are in gangs. I can see that on Croc, though. That said, Croc and Kyle probably did more police work than 90% of the PD and got fired. Finding a cop who does that and is not someone like Pred, Conan, or Croc is rare, if not impossible, in the PD in 4.0.

This is one reason why I don’t think after almost 3000 hours I’d ever return to GTA RP. Navigating office & corporate politics inside of a video game regarding command and circumventing their management is exhausting. Some people take this shit too seriously when they refer to “the same badge I wear is the same badge that we all wear”. It’s a community of people trying to have fun together, nothing more.
I believe this is why a lot of people like Summit, Hutch, Ramee, Mr. K(Idk his twitch handle its Lord_something), Vinny pastone, Marcel, and others went to Prodigy 2.0 Nopixel has become to much of a shit show ran by children.

@@Soliel75 While I don't fully disagree I think it's worth noting Whippy is just the type to malds when unfortunate things happen and usually comes back with more balanced takes later on. A lot of what he says is just heat of the moment and I wouldn't take it too seriously. I think it's best to just focus on the character than the streamer, he's pretty good at making a distinction between the two.

Croc creates a lot of rp, but like ramee or Kebun Whippy doesn’t know the paper work side and the amount of work that takes so yes it creates rp, but it’s draining for people to have to continue to deal with. Den does something dumb not every day which means it’s less draining that’s the difference

The reality is the pd structure is like any other job people are above you and are in charge of you. Those people have to deal with more work load compared to a ppo or normal officer this is what I’m referring to. That despite creating rp it’s draining for the people above to deal with and it’s something that requires time and effort to do. When someone wakes up and has to deal with croc again everyday it becomes to draining. People can say den, but den was offered a way to be fired and crims said no as even though he does dumb shit he’s not over whelming his command which is a big issue. Basically croc would be fine if this happen every little while.
People seem to get confused because of paperwork when they forget the people above him have to deal with it and it is draining it is irritating and they themselves might not be having fun having to constantly deal with it. People can say they hate rp, but sometimes people are not self aware and don’t know how to chill.
