That is an incredible game. My favourite god is Odin. I just love Norse play, even though they normally lose in the tournaments.
Kinda in the same boat. Was odin main switched to Thor in 1v1s ranked cuz it favoured my eco poor manage ability to cover some of my personal weakness. Recently im going Hades, im already close to 1800 elo Steam and ppl mostly go athena rush which i hate.(usually im the agressor, not the defender) 😂
@@pW0zTV Haha, I'm just playing against AI. I won now 3 medium as Odin. Two against Odin as well and one against Hades. So getting better but it's hard for me during mid game, once I get the last age and they can't it's a bit better 😁
@@tereza5211 yeah i understand u, trust me. Beating Hard AI should be ur next move. GL in ur learning process if dats the case, Boit channels is an amazing start! All i know so far is thanks to him, "i was in ur skill level just a couple months ago!" No offense here. Now im +1700 elo 1v1s on Ranked Steam (started December last year). Just for an exemple how much u can learn by following Boit's advises/pro match ups in his videos!

I played this game as a kid with my family (was Isis main back in a day 😂) but then suddely found a new version as been released in 2020, with more civs (attys + chineses) and had to check it again and found out this amazing channel that thot me how to properly play and appeals to a competitive prespective of the game (closely to a pro view). Thats samething that a LOVE alot. And just made me want to play and get better. Plus keep checking his lastest videos too 🙂

I’ve been the Hades so many times in this situation, there’s just nothing to play for. One small mis-step with your army between 12 and 17 min mark and you will simply never recover. Maybe underworld can force frost defensively so your eco isn’t hit… but you usually need curse and div blood to keep up. Artemis maybe? But I don’t think you can hold eq for titan, you just have to hit a tc asap. Chimera can help cut the army better? Maybe some raids? No options feel good if you’re even slightly behind at 20 vs Norse.

Kill the houses! Population is still a resource that must be managed, and denying/reducing your opponents pop cap will help you gain military advantage. For Suppe's opponent there, the lack of wood would further tax the ability to rebuild those.
Boit do you think thor has a better lategame than odin ?

I'd take lone wanderer over forseti/Bragi anyday. That upgrade is nuts.
Quality game. I think if he had have used gastro earlier instead/in addition to heliopolii he would have had more success taking down the forward bases. They were behind walls and forests the gastro range could have managed much better and also harassed the caravans more effectively.
its insane to look at people playing tournaments when I just casually play the campaign or against bots, or just build shit in the editor :D

Haha, I do play rocket league and I guess it is? Casting rocket league would be fun but I don't think there is much an overlap with AoM fans and Rocket league fans lol. :P

I'm convinced pro players can't use Titans efficiently 🤦♂
What's the efficient way to use them? I just started playing the game again for the first time in a decade yesterday, and I find myself struggling with getting good value from Titans whenever I do actually manage to get to them
@Tracker947 Titans are spoilers, don't fight units, deny resources and investments, titans are seen at all times on the map so don't play them like other units, you run them straight at whatever cost the opponent the most to establish and where you haven't been yet and you aim for collateral damage. Havent seen your opponents main base since scouts? Just charge the titan in, wreck what you can, its a continual earthquake that takes immense commitment by the enemy to destroy quickly, so don't think of it as a longterm advantage, wreck more than it cost to develop and build up advantage while it runs down your opponent.
Norse players out there!!!! Don't dear restoration AS LONG as u have enough hunt somewhere

i dont know why this guy did not made at least 3-4 prodramos and left them in his base, they have i think around 200% bonus dmg vs siege, so they could easy clean that annoying battle rams, also he should try to make some myth units, even minotaurs and neman lyons are nothing special
