Just wanted to say thank you so much for this video. I had this all setup on the Cloud a couple of days ago, but my key decided not to work at all, and I ended up having to terminate the instance. I'm so glad you included that bit with the password. That really helps me out now. I had asked a question here about file permissions and directory permissions, but I was able to figure it out actually. Thank you once again!
@@milosevic_ I tried a couple of different commands previously and I think that's what actually made it so I couldn't get back in with my key. I recommend setting a password if you haven't. If you have, the command that you're going to want is "chmod". There's a lot of commands you can add onto it with numbers and, to make it simple, I ended up using "chmod -R 777 home". The generic command though is "chmod -R 777 folder_name". That made it so anyone who has access could do anything they wanted to every file. The -R is to change files and directories recursively. There are different number combinations, such as 765, which made it so only the Owner could do everything but others still had certain access. I did that and it said I didn't have permission to anything even after I logged in. chmodcommand.com is a neat site which shows you quickly what commands you can do and goes more in-depth of what the command itself does. Hope that helps.
When I try to execute the command "apt install oracle-java16-installer" it tells me it is undable to locate the package. Does anyone know how to fix this?
My man, I need a tiny help for clearing a doubt , do we have to remake the server to keep it going after the first month or will it stay clean forever after the first touch? I just wanted to know this coz I had seen a thing that all arm instance vms will be disabled after the first month and we have to remake it to keep it going
@@hp_crafter4609 Thank you lad! question, currently its using 8.8% of the disk storage.. what would happen if over time the minecraft server got really big cause all of the new chunks what would happen and what would you do to solve that?

Think you have a one month of free trial and if you take more than 25 Gb ram and 4 cores then it will charge you for free trial and it will not work.
you said you would put the stuff in the description but its not there?
Go to the website. Its all on there.

24GB of RAM and 4 cores for free 24/7 sounds to good to be true. Is it only for the first month?
No it's forever. It does sound too good to be true but I've had it for ages now and never had any problems.
I also been shocked but it really good and really free 24/7
Let’s say when 1.19 comes out i want to update it do i just update the server.jar or do i have to redo all of this
