This a hidden W for C6 Bennett, you can make her an on-fielder with the pyro infusion to keep triggering burning while at the same time enjoying ATK buff.
I love how with the pass of the time, the game gives you more and more reason to C6 Bennet.
A shame that mine is still at C2 🙃
Unless they let us toggle constellations (How this isn't already a thing blows my mind) he will forever stay C5. Apart from the few times I do use him with someone like Ayaka, you'll never know when they release another character that doesn't want C6.
@@shinobu1886 all pyro character benefit a lot from it c6. u gain more synergy with c6 but lose some so depends on ur case
@@Otherface Its amazing to have avoided him for so long. I started in 3.x and have like a C7 Bennett. It feels like Hoyo throws him at you. (and this is as someone who refuses to use him)
Do you think there's any potential for C6 Candace hydro infusion? or would that just be working against her kit for some burgeon/hyperbloom strangeness
As a Lyney main, I’m excited for Emilie and I’m also excited to try burgeon teams with Emilie 🎉
If you use emilie in lyney team you will loose 1 pyro for his buff, unless you don't go for anemo/geo shred. I don't really think it's worth, but yeah for burgeon and burnmelt she should be really good
@@mauronoacontaldomurgia2088 Lyney teams are strange in that Geo shred is unreliable (as Zhongli's pillar likes to break or not even spawn due to enemy hitbox overlap) and Anemo is suicidal (no shielder unless you go 2 Pyro, losing 20% DMG and 16% ATK if R1)... Emilie could make the Pyro aura permanent and free us from the Pyronado range, but the team would indeed be lacking something else.
@@nara-yanano you would loss any pyro damage, cause zhongli lower resistance of enemies to pyro by 20% , and tot artifacts on zhongli gives the whole team atk buff, and zhongli shield would make the clear faster without getting knocked around

sounds pretty good! tbh ppl are missing that emilie already does a lot of dmg so sure youll get slightly lower lyney numbers without anemo shred but youll do good dmg in total (counting her dmg)

I'm looking forward to trying her out with Dehya. Between their kits, Burning will have good uptime and you'll take very little damage.

I'm pulling for Wrio c1 and skip Emily at the same time. I have zero interest in pyro archon so the only possible character I'm pulling for in the next new patches is that Natlan dendro guy but only if he's off field DPS or support and very very strong.

Off-field DPS characters, especially with highly reactive elements, is a DEFINITE boost to any team.

Her increasing burning is kinda inline with her character since she is a perfume maker and somehow a chemist/scientist. Just like putting gas on a leaf/dendro, it will burn more.
Overall I like her design and kit.,
Also regarding cryo and hydro applications, I think it will null the burning reaction (chemistry based bc of lack of heat)
I think, electro will do hyper overload.

Wrio-emilie team has similar, if not higher dps than the current best Wrio team i.e. Vape-melt with Furina, Xl, Bennett. This is a plus because u can free up furina for the other side.
I think it’d be fun to try her with arlecchino, Bennett, and kirara, getting that double resonance and limiting arles self burn feels like it may be my comfort burn team

I’m honestly gonna try out arleccino, Emilie, Zhongli, and chiori. OODLES of off field damage and protection from the boi. Seems like a fun and good team that does solid damage

Since she focuses on skill damage, I wonder if putting her with Sigewinne would be good. Like Emilie, Sigewinne, Nahida, Arle for example. Depending on how good her Dendro application is you could even replace Nahida with a VV anemo like Kazuha. Arle and Nahida can keep a permanent burn up even with Sigewinne's bubble so that might be quite a good team. Probably not top tier but still good.
Venti would be really good too, since he can group everyone together from a distance. I can see her working with Venti as well as Kazuha too. For those who don't have their hands on Kazuha, they can go with Lynette, or Sucrose/Sayu
tbh you dont need nahida for emilie, you can sneak in a support instead (emilie can already apply enough dendro to keep burning going)
Calling it now. The community is going to shit all over her, but by the time 5.1 rolls around she'll be considered high-tier meta.
You know, it's almost like HoYo knows how she will interact with the future content better than people who aren't on the dev team.
I think shes going to be really unique but quite strong especially in natlan
I expect Emilie to be more versatile than expected despite being chained to the burning reaction.
"Pure" Burning teams with an main Pryo DPS will likely be upgrades over Mono-Pyro due to Emile's high damage, and I expect her to be great for Reverse-Melt (for Wriothesley and Ganyu). Overloaded + Burning could be great for Cyno, althrough I'm less sure of that.
I plan on getting C2 Emilie and her signature weapon (as losing one or two 5* pulls to Aqua Simulica is one heck of a consolation prize ).
I'm assuming the 3 characters teased in the Natlan trailer will be the 5.0 units, and I'm not particularity interested in any of them, so I'm ok with going for Emilie now and then saving up primos/cash for units down the line, like the Pyro Archon.
We did not need another polearm.
We've got 3 polearms trough the entire patch of Fontaine (counting Emilie) soo if anything that just makes sense if you take a look at the other weapon per char count :
-4 cathalyst (Neuvi, Wrio, Charlotte, Xianyun)
-4 swords (Lynette, Furina, Chiori, Clorinde)
-3 claymore (Freminet, Navia, Gaming)
-3 bow (Lyney, Sigewinne, Sethos)
-3 polearm (Chevreuse, Arlecchino, Emilie)

I really love Baizhu still relevant for Emelie. Im guaranteed to get 5* chatacter but will wait for the 5.0 character before deciding getting Emelie or not.

As a Klee main, I smell a lot of potential for Emilie to elevate Klee to the next level. Klee has massive pyro application, so if Emilie provides enough dendro to keep up with her this could lead to massive Klee burn damage while buffing Emilie's personal damage. You could go for Bennett + another dendro character for extra application like Nahida or dendro traveler, or maybe go for Furina + Baizhu/Yaoyao for a burgeon/burn team, or just Bennett Fruina if Emilie's dendro app is strong enough on its own. There's obviously other options like Xingqiu, Yelan, Sigewinne if you really wanna heal a ton and maybe slightly buff Emilie a bit, there ciuld be ways to play around with this, and since Klee is so squishy, she definitely benefits from the burn damage reduction Emilie provides.
Klee levels with EM but it's a bit difficult to utilize because of just how massive her pyro app is, which makes her better for setting up reactions rather than triggering them (except burgeon), so hopefully with this we can see Klee as the new burn meta queen 🙏

i run a wanderer air fry team with bennet nahida and thoma and i clear the abyss 36 no problem so im stoked to replace nahida with emilie. Wanderer (desert pavillion) bennett (nobless) Nahida (unfinished reverie) thoma (deepwood)

She is a dendro dendro mc or dendro dehya. She will work well with dehya. I think people forget dehya's E is exactly same as emilie's E...and dehya's E proc is faster than chiori's E
You yourself said she only make use of burning to amp her own dmg. She doesn't buff or do anything to burning reaction, so why will she prolong the duration of burning?
Its better to use xiangling over dehya if u don’t need the resistance to interruption.

Xiangling needs insane battery support for off field pyro access, and she's got weak damage without Bennett.
Meanwhile, Dehya fits into plenty of teams precisely because her skill has icd and slower timing, and everyone sleeps on her Chev team with Raiden.
@@StillQiqilessdehya doesnt only reduce dmg taken for the team but she also needs no er requirements to apply pyro, so you can focus on her own dmg or buffing others (with tenacity)
I super super WANT her, I don't have good Dendro options and I'd love to do burnmelt.
But kinda needing a signature, and then other characters to finish teams, I just can't settle on if it feels worth it.
in the end, you should always prioritise characters you like, but i just wanna say that if she’ll be your only good dendro character then i suggest saving for her rerun and getting someone else first, because she doesn’t apply enough dendro to be the solo dendro unit in a team (at least rn, idk if they’ll make changes or whatnot)

emilie has a hidden edge over nahida people often don't mention - multi-wave content.
I have a feeling that she might pair well with Dehya.
Can't snapshot, so she doesn't work perfectly with Bennett. If only there was a character that buffed the party's attack and did off field dmg lasting for around 20-30 seconds. Now, that would be kinda crazy.
It would also be kinda crazy if we got a pyro version of the dendro set so we could run something besides an anemo unit and still get good res shred with maybe a smaller but still good party wide pyro buff or something.
@tokyo-sz4zd yeah, it's definitely unlikely, but I mean, they could make it like the shred and dmg are stacking. So the unit has to be able to hit the enemy from off field in order to trigger it. Make the buff like 15-20% and then the shred 20-25%
Cause I mean, technically I can already do this with zhongli on the geo set alongside a kazuha on VV. But it would be cool to have some mono incentivizations

I am very excitedly saving primos for her, I really want to pair her with my XL or Yanfei. A burn melt team would be so cool, or she could be part of my burgeon team
i think she will be amazing with a weapon like dragons bane tbh good em for some burning damage and the extra like 36% (i think i forgot) against enemies that are affected with pyro will be amazing especially as a burining based char
in one of the gameplay scene in the livestream there are 2 enemies but her flower seems to target only one enemy at a time.
If she wasn't required to be in burning teams, I might have considered pulling for her in case we get future dendro imaginarium theater
She isn't required to be in burning teams, she simply does less damage, but as a dendro applier she works anyways.
She can work in other teams, she used to have a passive that would extremely nerf her damage if you triggered aggravate but they removed it (Thank god), she may not have much supportive abilities in those teams unfortunately, but she has incredibly insane Dendro application, of course Nahida would do her job better but Emilie is a good sidegrade for non burning Dendro teams if you lack Dendro units.
@@samkelly5045 Nahida can be worse than her in application just by the fact she needs to be on field to apply dendro again with her skill. It only depends on the team, if the team permits to swap she's a downgrade to Nahida because Nahida can buff too, if not she's an upgrade, and overall she's a sidegrade, a pretty welcome one too

@@mauronoacontaldomurgia2088 I’m saying if we get unlucky and end up with a theater in the future like anemo dendro geo, dendro hydro geo, dendro anemo geo, it’ll be better for me to get characters who can do a lot of dmg on their own without having requirements (would also apply to Nahida if no hydro/electro/pyro present). And for simply having dendro application we have 3 pretty decent choices already (Yaoyao, dmc, Collei) maybe even 5 as Nahida is a catalyst and you can bump into enemies with Kirara, so Emilie will likely be restricted to abyss/overworld unless theater does dendro + pyro and/or the special invite mechanic has pyro characters (like how we can have Wriothesley and Sigewinne for this theater). With our current options, she’s just not a valuable pick for me.
Will not work with Cocogoat. Cocogoat can't function normally without a shielder.

As a wrio main I'm interested if wrio/Emilie/Bennett/kazuha can maintain burning aura with Kazuha burst infusing pyro, less interested in the cryo swirl as the grouping, would love to see the team in your guide if you have time

I hope she can buff my Wriothesley more too. I can free up my Nahida from him.
I’d say if she has better burn upkeep than Nahida then she can actually be better for a melt Rizzly/Ayaka. Ganyu’s best team if you don’t get hit a bunch is Nahida, Shenhe, Bennett so far (I found that Xiangling and Nahida go equal dmg wise in this team but if you want more consistent melts Nahida is actually better since you do not have to get as close to the enemy).
She is definitely going on my Furina, Xiangling, and Bennett team. I'm kicking my C4 Mona(I have lost so many 50/50s to her) out.
I'm going to try her on a Yanfei plunge team. Because why not? Yanfei-Furina-Xianyun-Emilie. I already am used to playing a weird over-burn plunge team (Nahida-Lisa-Yanfei-Xianyun) on a catalysts only account I have for the other half of abyss opposite of my Neuvi team so I am interested in trying a burning plunge team on my main account. Burning plunge just sounds fun. I need to be creative with my teams on my main account, since I only play tall/medium females on it, so I am really hoping I'm able to make some fun and viable teams with her.
I kinda wanted her as a Sub DPS / Pyro aura enabler for my *Lyney* ...
...but the team needs _both_ a healer and a shielder to work smoothly, the only proper options being Bennett (Circle Impact) and Xinyan (weak shield w/ long CD), as Yanfei is on DPS build. We really need more *Pyro* supports!

I think C6 Bennet helps because you can use the infusion to get more pyro out.
Hi im deciding if i should build my jean or not im planning on running furina,neuv,zhongli,kazuha/jean (i dont have c1 neuv so i kinda need a shield and i have prototype amber on neuv is the damage buff from kazuha better than the extra healing from jean? I am planning on pulling Emilie partially because the Genshin gods want me to. I have been farming the Faded Theatre domain for Harmonic Whimsy artifacts since Arlecchino's debut, but I have received twice as many Unfinished Reverie artifacts both in number and potential power. I predict I will have a good four piece set for Emilie long before I have one for Clorinde. My Arly uses a good Gladiator set acquired over the last four years of game play. The other reason I am pulling Emilie is because megane girls are hot.

Literally me. My reverie set is already complete, and i have 3 pieces thats over 30 cv (my whimsy only has 2 pieces thats over 30cv), and of course the freakin atk sands is WAYYYY BETTER than arle's on the whimsy set. This really tempts me to pull for emilie lmao

I think Emilie is a 50/50 to me, depending on the 4 stars. Might pull and see if I win the flip, and if not I’ll save for a Natlan char I really want.

I’m curious if she could work for cyno. obviously you can’t really get burning there as well, but a big issue with cyno is fighting waves of enemies. so if she can work somewhat without burning, and having such a long uptime, cyno dendro teams might work- even if you’re not getting the extra burning

I'm not really interested with Emilie but this would be a nice lineup for Natlan's male characters.
1. Dendro guy in the trailer - off field male DPS. Great Alhaitham battery and best Cyno dendro applier.
2. 5* tall, male electro support catalyst user. Great electro applier and good electro battery.
3. Xbalanque - 5* short male pyro on field DPS. He'll be as OP as Neuvilette since he was the previous pyro archon.
4. 5* tall male cryo sub DPS. Perfect support for Wriothesley.
5. 4* pyro sub DPS. Basically Xiangling except male and from Natlan. Best teammate for Xbalanque.
6. 4* Geo support from Liyue. His skill allows geo constructs to destroy elemental shields easier.
7. 4* electro support. Perfect Alhaitham support. In the story, he's Alhaitham's bff which makes Kaveh jealous. Kaveh then suddenly gains support skills thats good to pair with Alhaitham.

I am curious how this new abyss rotation schedule will affect banner sales moving forward.
If you could please explain how burning is calculated and how to know who triggers the reaction, that'd be nice. Should the burning artifacts set always be on the dendro character? Or can the pyro character use it instead? The reaction isn't good for damage, so it's not talked about a lot. Doesn't need a whole video, but just going over how it works a little again would be nice (how damage is calculated, what can boost the damage, who triggers the reaction, the aura...ect).
@@user-miraje the burning set can be on anyone on the team, it works as long as an enemy is burning, you dont have to trigger it
ngl navia / bennette c6 / emilie / *geo* sound like a good team, since crystalize dont completely remove the pyro aura, emilie should be able to keep burning active while generating crystals for navia

Glad Fontaine ended with two patches with characters I didn’t want or already had. Gives me time to save for natlan, so far the three characters they showed for natlan aren’t calling my name but I may change my mind depending on their personality and kits. Either way I have 130 wishes saved right now for natlan (plus a few re runs I’m waiting for like shenhe, Hu Tao)
Id like to see anemo driver burning teams. Bennett, Xiangling, Emilie, and anemo driver (sucrose, kazuha, c6 lynette, etc)
Won’t pull since I’m saving for yelan zhongli kokomi shenhe will keep eye on her . Trying restrain self going for navia or nilou .
As someone who plays neuv teams and hyperbloom teams, if new unit can't top or boost said teams, then it's an easy skip. That's all there is to it.

Shes going to be a high investment unit for me.
C2/R1 or C4/R1 if I end up using her Ult. Her C6 looks like a scam, as there's no need to have her on field.
From my point of view and my account, I will probably treat Emilie as a potential character if she has good synergies with characters I already have. Either way, I won't be able to pull her in this patch and she will enter in the wishlist.
Her kit might be good but it doesn't save her from her unappealing design for me 😅

One thing I dislike about Arlecchino is how much she burns herself in the overworld due to setting so much grass on fire. I still don't like Emilie's outfit but I might try a hail mary pull for her if the 4stars are good.
