Hallelujah... This took about 15 minutes to do. I live in a condo and have a weird work schedule and sometimes do laundry at 3 in the morning. The buzzer was actually waking up the neighbors! Thanks for the video!
Dude, you just saved my sleep. I work 14 hour days and tend to do laundry and throw my clothes in the dryer before going to bed. The buzz usually woke me up... BUT no longer! Thank you.
Hi Giv Parvaneh. I'm glad I was able to help. I'm a small youtuber trying to grow my channel, if you could subscribe that would really help me out. Thanks!
Thank you so much! You literally have made a difference in my life. I have literally been dealing with this horrible buzzer for two years and was about to spend a ton of money to replace this appliance (despite having a baby on the way). I just wanted to let you know what an amazing and precise video you made and the difference you made in my life. Again, thank you.
Hi Nina Romero. I'm glad I was able to help. I'm a small youtuber trying to grow my channel, if you could subscribe that would really help me out. Most of all congratulations on the baby!
I did this on my own when I was 23 with a different model. the electrical panel had a diagram on it that showed which wire was which. The dryer you made the video with its almost the model I have now, 95% simular. your video helped me and I will be attempting this shortly. ty
Thank you !!! This step by step was a BIG help. I'm so glad I don't have to deal with that ridiculous blast-horn from my drier anymore :D Can't believe they wouldn't have put a switch in for this feature?? But, at least there's Zadius on RUclips for the DIY win!!!!!!!
Thank you sooooo much!! I'm giving birth really soon and my kenmore washer/dryer is in a closet in our bedroom. And for the first 5 months of his life, the baby will be sleeping in our room as well. So you've saved the baby (and us!) a lot of trouble waking up in the middle of the night! Thanks again!
I LOVE YOU! Thank you so much for this video. Excellent step-by-step instructions - super well made and thought out video. That buzzer is ridiculous. P.S - My stacked washer dryer combo is a Frigidaire Electrolux which is also a Sears product. Same panels to remove, same amount of screws to remove in same locations as well as internal components.
Hi John Klotz. I'm glad I was able to help. I'm a small youtuber trying to grow my channel, if you could subscribe that would really help me out. Thanks!
This worked great on my Frigidaire Gallery stackable. I found the same small black box on the other side of the panel where the washer controls are and unplugged one of those wires as well to get rid of that buzzer, too. Thanks so much for this super helpful video!

I just removed the buzzer entirely. I removed the connection with needle nose pliers, unscrewed the box, and took it out of the machine. Is that ok or will that be an electrical issue? Wonderful video and thank you!

My setup looks identical to this however I don't see an H wire it's not labeled like yours is ... the two wires that come from what appears to be buzzer go to A&B ?
My dryer has a bell, I finally got tired of getting woke up 3am by a high pitch Dingggg every 2minutes while it's in the cool cycle and tore the bell off and threw it in the trash where it belongs. : )
As a reflex/PTSD, I turned my volume down just before you r buzzer was about to go off. I normally line dry my clothes. But, when I do use my dryer, the buzzer scares me! I've learned to just open the dryer door before the buzzer goes off. :(
Don't you need to close the circuit? I'm trying to disconnect the buzzer from an Maytag and is pretty much the same, but I don't know if it is necessary to close the circuit by replacing the buzzer circuit with just one of the two wires (one that comes from the panel to the buzzer and a second that goes from the buzzer to the panel)
I’m unfortunately unable to remove the panel with the knobs on it even after removing all of the screws :( (update - I jiggled it and had to flip it straight down which worked - thank you!)
Two wires go to the buzzer. Is there any way to know which is better to disconnect? In an Admiral Capacity Plus dryer they lead to S and B on the main switch, not H as you show. Thanks!
Yes! Have been trying to shit this drier up since I moved in, thankyou For the sake of your channel and the user, can you please do some research on basic video editing so you can speed up through the boring bits (undoing screws etc). This video could have easily been 5 minutes and achieved the same result, if not better. I say this to help! Thanks againRich
I have a matching washer and dryer set from Amanda which I hear is from the may tag company not a stackable. My dad when he and my mom visited tried to disconnect the buzzer but couldn't find where the connecting cable to the buzzer is located. Is it where the timer is located as well? It's annoying when in an echoey hallway. And do you find the letter h on it
Open it up and look for a little black box that has two wires coming out of it...follow one of the wires to that control box and then remove that wire. Loook at my video and you'll see what I mean by little black box with two wires on it.

People like you make the world a better place with content like this! I was about to throw my dryer out the window to get rid of that death buzz.
Thanks took me about 5 minutes and it changed my day. I hated that buzzer. Why isn’t there a toggle switch so one has a choice. Thanks again!

I did this and it worked perfectly for the dryer, but the washer buzzes too and I didn’t fix that. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Two wires go to the buzzer. Is there any way to know which is better to disconnect? In an Admiral Capacity Plus dryer they lead to S and B on the main switch, not H as you show. Thanks!
Super late reply. Just disconnect both and wrap the leads in electrical tape or shrink wrap so they don't short anything out.
Thanks for the tip Bob!
So clutch - thanks for sharing!

Agreed. This video could be under 5 minutes and equally as effective.
