Always love when you bring lesser known or talked about brands to the forefront. The Sartory-Billard in that configuration gives me Atelier Wen vibes, but the level of customization possible is incredible. A quick survey of their website reveals a tremendous catalogue of choices across multiple models. They are the standout brand for me in this lineup. Thank you for your work and Happy Holidays!
that Yema is a KILLER.. LOVE that bracelet look as well... how are they tracking with their customer issues? live in Australia and would love to get some inputs
Yema. Affordable micro rotor mechanism and enticing bracelet, at least from appearance. Bracelet seems somewhat rigid with a mediocre clasp but has a unique aesthetic. I am very glad that you made this video about 🇫🇷 watches. How does LA.B Marche fit with these watches? Also would be curious to see Grand Seiko Quartz watch lineup or higher end quartz mechanism watch lineup, if possible. Some good candidates that are worth discussing. Cheers.
I for one would love to do a line up of awesome keepable quartz watches I really believe there is a strong place for quartz in the watch enthusiast world.
@marcusflack1523 Good man. A most appropriate term in your response: "keepable." High accuracy and high frequency quartz mechanisms are born from impressive engineering. Happy Christmas !!! 🎄🎁⛄
>looks at a French made, complicated, Manufacture movement, in a small run company's catalogue in a style analogous to a Lumen >"Bad value for 10k" I dunno man, I guess you should stick to the F-91W, you'll get your value for money there.
@Horizontalvertigo I know where your coming from , but it's manufacturers aren't historic or the reality is a Zenith or Rolex or even IWC would be a far superior company
@@philiploveswatcheswhiskies9832 Zenith & IWC perhaps, but Rolex? C'mon now, a Submariner is more expensive than the Pequignet & it's a machine made, mass produced, uncomplicated watch. Sure, it's well made & the movement is bulletproof, but I'm not prepared to say "Oh yeah, a 300m steel diver is good value at 12k euro."
You will note when I (Marcus) talk there’s no double up. The issue was a feedback loop at Zach’s end that we have since identified and fixed for future recordings. That feedback was doubling Zach voice on top of his main recording so it could not be separated in post. Won’t be an issue in future recordings as we have found the problem hardware.
@@mitchmitchell9588 I own LiP, & I'll say without hesitation that 90%+ of their current catalogue can be safely ignored, & really the only remarkable thing they have is the Mach 2000. & Serica would overlap Yema & Baltic's price points. Baltic's more established, & Yema has more history, it's a perfectly reasonable omission /shrug
To be clear this is not meant to be a ranked “best of”, we are discovering French watch brands we believe people should know about. This episode’s curation was about finding a colourful rainbow like range of dials. Serica is a top-notch French watch brand we have covered in multiple videos, and Lip is certainly historic. So agree these are cool French brands people should know as well. Cue partie trois…

Thank you so very much for your comment. Best regards, Armand
Happy Holidays!
French watch-making is definitely top tier - lots of remarkable brands making original stuff!
Love the look of the Yema micro rotor in house movement. Stark modern minimalist look. ❤😊. Merry Christmas boys.
Merry Xmas!

That Pequignet is rather interesting. For the next video, what about some smaller Japanese brands, like Minase....?
We would definitely like to tackle Japanese watches in a future Lineup video for sure!
Yema.

Hegid is missing but vibrant French watchmaking ✌️
Agreed 🤝
A small critique, when Zach is speaking, you can hear his audio coming in twice on slight delay......I'm assuming through Marcus' laptop?
We have since identified the problem and are confident it won’t happen again moving forward 💪.
Cool content how they sell these watches for 10grand is mind blowing not worth

Why is the audio doubled and not edited out in post 🤣🤣😭😭

you forgot EDOX since 1884
Is this a sponsored video?
Aha! That explains it. If it’s sponsored, US law requires a disclosure. 😊
@@mitchmitchell9588 Wait, so you're saying that in Europe no disclosure is legally required? I hope you are wrong...
All of our sponsored videos have the disclaimer RUclips requires at the beginning of the video.
@@threethrushes haha! That is not what I said. Interesting logic though…
Marvel watches would be funny because no one covers them and there are tons of watch companies doing them. From Citizen to AP.
where is wolbrook
Looks like we may need to do a partie trois!
I love Yema, but that generic “Seiko clasp” doesn’t make sense in a +2.000€ watch…
Sorry. Not watching this video. You lose all credibility before you start. No Serica. No LiP. Sod off.
