Indeed Sue, the start stop feature teamed with the speed control means you can sew without the foot pedal - glad you love your machine - keep on enjoying it and learning more about what it can do for you! :)
Thanks Jo, I was quite happy with my Janome 7025 until I watched your demo! The Brother has all the essential features that I am missing, ordering an Inno-vis A16 tomorrow!
HI Ann - thank you - glad you enjoyed it - where do you live? If local to us we would love to support you with your purchase? I'm sure you will love your new machine either way! Cheers Jo
@@sewcreative Hi Jo - I live near Monmouth, sadly, too far to visit. I enjoy browsing your Website and love your dress……geometric design, blue! I started sewing at 9 years old in the fifties, on beautiful hand cranked Singers at school (and Mum’s ancient treadle). We had a wonderful needlework teacher and I still sew the way she taught…..lots of tacking! We are fortunate to have lovely sewing and fabric shops nearby. Used to bring our children to Liss, Hollycombe Steam Fair when we lived in Surrey. Thank you. Ann.
Apologies for the late reply, the A16 has a superior needle threader and has a stay stitch button to secure your stitches either end - other than that they are pretty much the same!
Hi Colin - with any machine to sew leather, you will need to replace the needle with a leather needle and extend the stitch length, it all depends really on how heavy the leather is and for how long you intend to sew - if you were planning on sewing heavy leather day in day out, I would suggest a more heavy duty machine, but if an occasionally sewing of leather then as long as needle, thread and stitch length are considered, it should be ok with this machine - hope this helps - Jo
The beauty of the speed control is also that as a paraplegic with no use of my legs I can still use the machine. Love it!

Thank you for the demonstration.

Thanks you Madame, your movie did help le a lot!
Very helpful tutorial. Thanks
Great tutorial! Thx!
Great video thanks!! I'm new to machine sewing and want to know if this machine is better than a Singer 3342 Fashion Mate.
Thanks guys.
Very nice, you have shown us 3 A 10- 15- 16 brother sewing machine so which one do you really use and sale ?
How is this A16 compare to Juki LB5100 machine?
Hi, I was wondering if you can change the default values for stitching in each program.
Hi - yes there is a stitch width and stitch length button so you can change most stitches 😀
@@sewcreative What I mean is how to replace the defaults with deifferent defaults.
@@kynio3433 hi No this feature is not possible - you would need a fully computerised machine to do this such as the Brother F420
Could you tell me the advantages of getting this machine over the innovis15?

Would it sew leather do you know?
